I preordered the special edition there before I moved, and now at my new one they're saying they cannot give it to me unless I go back to the store I originally preordered it at. The thing is, when I first preordered it, the man said I could get it at any Gamestop if I provided them with my phone number.

And no, GTA IV will be exclusive to the PS3 and Xbox 360, since it's a next-gen game. Neither the PS2 or PSP have enough power to even run the game let alone render the graphics it will need to on the new RAGE engine.

 

As for me, once an official release date is announced, I'll probably pre-order it to save disappointment if I head into GAME and find it's out of stock. I'd want it on the day, not a week later or something.

It's very handy; that's where I got San Andreas from. And yes, I got a free poster and a 10% discount. I really should pre-order from there.

Yes, limited editions are always more expensive due to extra features such as artbooks and behind-the-scene DVD's.

 

I can't tell you how much the difference is however, but expect it to be 1½ times the regular price.
