I know Football Manager 2008 is out soon, but i'm really getting into this right now, have served 3 seasons with Southampton, took them out of the Championship in my first season in charge, won the league cup in the same season. The following season I finished 14th in the Premiership with Southampton. The next Season I finished 3rd in the Premiership, and was offered the Chelsea and Liverpool jobs. I took the Chelsea job in the 2009/10 season. Am currently top of the Premiership, in the League Cup semi finals, into the knockout phase of the Champions League, I have Miroslav Klose in the form of his life, with 40 goals for the club in just 4 months. Then, just now, I had an FA cup 3rd round tie with Wycombe Wanderers, I knew I'd win, just not by as much as I have. Jose Mourinho, Eat your heart out. AndyGanteks Posted September 21, 2007 Share Posted September 21, 2007 I do.I'm at 013/014 season with red star Belgrade.Won the titles always wiht my club.Always come to the top 16 in the Uefa cup,last season camt to the semi-final of the champions league.In my game Mourinho also left Chelsea after some time.It was 09/10 i think. BTW some questions for you 1.Do you know how to activate the debug mode?? 2.How do you grow talents into good players?My regens cant be anywhere near as good as others clubs regens 3.How to get players from west europe into my club -Red Star for example or any other eastern european Steaua or Sparta Prague?Even if my country is 1st on FIFA rankings and my team in top 20 ranking of UEFA players from even Conference wont come to it. 4.What are your 3 biggest wins 5.Any funny names or regens you came accross? Had been playing as Monaco lately, 4 seasons in and had only won 1 trophy which was quite disappointing. I built a decent squad, finished high in the table and progressed in Europe but silverware eluded me. Infact I was so annoyed with my teams performance during a game at the end of my 3rd season that I put about 90% of my squad up for sale to rebuild again! @AndySerb - • Cant help you on the debug mode. • Talented players usually develop into decent players anyway but you can play around with the training settings and see what results you get, good coaching staff also helps this. • To get bigger and better players to your club you need to win European trophies. Domestic does help but competitions like the UEFA and Champions League cups will boost your reputation making players more likely to sign or at least talk contract terms with your club. • I think I won like 9-0 with Monaco on a very old game save, I often like managing in France and once I have the team I want I often get decent results. As for the other 2 biggest wins I honestly cant remember. • Not seen any funny named regens, but have seen screen shots of some great examples on some FM2007 forum/websites. Cup holders, and Super Cup holders. 2nd in Premiership at the moment, About halfway into the season nearly. Oh, did I mention I'm also England manager? 2nd in European Championship 2012 Qualifying at the moment, Record win with england is 6-0 over Liechtenstein. Tchuck Posted September 22, 2007 Share Posted September 22, 2007 I'm on season 20/21 now, spent some 12 years with Dinamo Kiev winning everything I could, left them to go to brazil to manage my favourite team, São Paulo, winning the Libertadores once, the Brazilian League twice and the Sudamericana once, then left for a job at Juventus, winning the Italian League after getting my tactic right, my team had a superb defense hardly conceding, but my attack was missing all the chances. Personally, go into the main game files and use the edit mode, it's much safer, just remember to make a backup of the main database in case you tinker too much.
