I don't think it can get any worse than what the Knights did. lol

Blow a 3-1 series lead and then blow a 3-0 lead in the 3rd period of game 7 and lose in overtime.

Well it wasn't the Finals, but it was the playoffs:

2010 Eastern Conference Semifinals (Round 2)
6 Boston Bruins vs. 7 Philadelphia Flyers

Game 1 - Boston wins 5-4 (OT)

Game 2 - Boston wins 3-2
Game 3 - Philadelphia loses 1-4   (I was in a box for this game)
Game 4 - Philadelphia wins 5-4 (OT)

Game 5 - Bruins loses 0-4

Game 6 - Philadelphia wins 2 - 1

So Boston led 3-0 in the series and Philadelphia ties it up.  Series heads back to Boston.

Boston goes up 3-0 in the first 15 minutes of the game.  The rest of the game was the Flyers coming back, once again...being down 3-0.  With under 3 minutes to play in the first, James van Reimsdyke scored his first goal of the post season off a Giroux pass.  In the second period the Flyers score two more in the first 9 minutes.  The Briere line, like it did all late in the season, came through big time (Hartnell-Briere-Leino) scored the 2nd goal for the Flyers (Hartnell - Briere/Leino) and the 3rd (Briere - Hartnell).  All tied up in the 3rd, the Bruins take a costly Too Many Men on the Ice penalty and longtime fan favorite Simon Gagne scored a PP goal to break the tie (Richards/Leino) with about 7 minutes left to go in the game.  I remember late in that game seeing a rookie by the name of Claude Giroux play keep away on the Boston boards with 2 Bruins slashing at his ankles to get at a puck...and Giroux didn't have a stick.  He used his skates only.  When that clock hit 0:00 - Philadelphia went nuts.

Greatest comeback I've ever seen.  Down 3-0 TWICE.

Too bad it ended with another Finals loss against another dynasty team (the only type of teams the Flyers lose to in the Stanley Cup Finals!).

Interesting sidenote:  2010 Eastern Conference Finals had a 7-seed as the hometeam because Montreal beat the top-seeded Capitals and 2nd seeded Penguins in consecutive 7-game series).

Talk about a sh*tty sequence for the Capitals.  Hit the right side of the right post for an empty net goal that would've sealed the game with 3 minutes left. https://i.imgur.com/7LrJiIQ.gifv

Panthers tied it up a minute later and eventually won in over time.

Big difference being up 3-1 vs 2-2

Well, Panthers got swept in the 2nd round anyways. Craziest thing is, they only had 3 goals in the 4 games. 1 1 1 then 0

Reminds me of how the Suns played in the playoffs.

Man I couldn't watch the first final, real bad time of the day for me it started same time I left to work.

But I'll try to watch the 2nd.

CHAMPIONS!

So just think about this, Stan Kroenke has an NFL championship with the Rams, a Lacrosse championship with the Colorado Mammoth, and now a Stanley Cup championship with the Avs all within the last 6 months lol

Welp, no repeat.

Thought it was tied up early in the 3rd but offside by literally inches. Game of inches for sure

One of the biggest upsets in history by the Panthers. Down 3-1 in the series, down 3-2 in game 7 before tying it up with 1 min left. Win in OT against the team that had the most wins and points in the history of the game

I think Lightning getting swept in 18-19 was a tad worse, though lol
