johnson. 678
Its incredible how the Ducks have only had the lead in the last three games for only eleven and a half minutes.
darthYENIK 8,858
Guess the Jets didn't read my post in the sports section of a forum for a violent video game. I'll say it again. The Ducks do not lose close games. Not an exaggeration. Their record in one goal games over the last three years is something like 60-6-20. One... ONE... Of those losses came this season. The only way to beat the Ducks is to score two or more goals than them. Edited April 25, 2015 by darthYENIK
johnson. 678
The Jets have the greatest fans of any sports team with out a doubt, even though the Ducks sweeped them that send off the crowed gave them last night gave me goose bumps.http://streamable.com/71z3
El Dildo 14,386
when I die, I want the STL Blues to be my pallbearers. that way they can let me down one last time. the f/cking Chicago Cubs of hockey. we stink.

darthYENIK 8,858
The Ducks have handled Calgary like nothing. Calgary just isn't doing much. The Ducks weren't looking great either, but the Flames were horrible in the first two games. I doubt this is going to be a sweep, but if things keep going the way they're going, it'll be done in 5. Twang. 1,871
God Damn Wild blowing it when it matters most. They're playing like they were in January.
Ryan 3,953
What a comeback by Calgary last night, especially after getting screwed over by the situation room calling their goal mid way through the third no goal when it clearly was a goal. Tonight is do or die for Montreal. I'm hoping they can get back in the series but it's gonna be tough against Tampa.
darthYENIK 8,858
What a comeback by Calgary last night, especially after getting screwed over by the situation room calling their goal mid way through the third no goal when it clearly was a goal. Tonight is do or die for Montreal. I'm hoping they can get back in the series but it's gonna be tough against Tampa. It was not clearly a goal. I don't get how people can believe the "situation room" doesn't know what they're doing or makes bad calls, or conspires to let teams win. The angle everyone says is proof it was over the line is deceiving. Top down is the only angle that matters on that call, and it showed nothing.
QuackinAColdOne 1,619
Montrea coming back like this along with New York is what gives me hope considering I have them both winning the series in my bracket. I got Montreal winning over chi-town in the cup and man it's getting close. I bet money with my coach for the Rangers and caps series and I still have $120 on the line in the bracket

Ryan 3,953
The Mike Babcock sweepstakes is finally over. He just signed a eight year, $50 million contact with the leafs to be the new head coach. Babcock makes $8 million in the first two years of the contact. To put that in comparison, the next highest paid coach is Chicago's Quenneville at $2.75 million.
darthYENIK 8,858
He's a great coach. I wonder how long it takes for the Toronto media to turn him into the devil. That place chews coaches up and spits them out. Also he's the second coach to go to Toronto who has coached the Ducks to the finals. Edit: and I forgot they had Ron Wilson, so he's the third straight coach the Leafs have hired that have coached the Ducks. Edited May 22, 2015 by darthYENIK
El Dildo 14,386
Cup kicks off tonight. I'd prefer to see Tampa upset the Hawks. getting tired of seeing Chicago in the finals so often.

El Dildo 14,386
most of Tampa Bay's lineup will be intact next season. they should be a strong contender for the foreseeable future, but man, Chicago is officially dynastic.
darthYENIK 8,858
Yeah, the Hawks just can't be phased. They deserved this. A shame Stammer didn't get his cup, but he's still pretty young.
Ryan 3,953
One month in to the season and it's never been a better time to be a Habs fan. Four solid lines that are consistently scoring night in and night out combined with rock solid defense and goaltending (even without Price). 1st in the league standings (if they keep up the current pace, they're on track for 138 points) 1st in goals for 3rd in goals against 1st in goals for/goals against % 3rd ranked PP 3rd ranked PK Edited November 8, 2015 by Ryan
darthYENIK 8,858
One month in, and I'm only just this past week enjoying hockey. Pretty much the opposite of the Habs, the Ducks just were terrible until last week. Then they snapped out of it.
Redketman 20
I know people talk about it all the time, but what has happened with Sidney Crosby? Only 10 points in 19 games and minus 7. Compare that to Patrick Kane, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn who has 30, 28 and 27 points respectively..
Ryan 3,953
Montreal just lit up Henrik Lundqvist for five goals at home. So much for all the talk about how Lundqvist is a lock for the Hart,Lindsay, and Vezna awards. Edited November 26, 2015 by Ryan
darthYENIK 8,858
Great All-Star Game(s), eh? The new format really was exciting. Scott got the MVP, but my boy John Gibson is the winner of my heart. Edit: and I thought it would be the other way around. Edited February 1, 2016 by darthYENIK
General Scrotum 1,010
The most entertaining All-Stars Game I've seen of all I've seen. The players actually wanted to win the tournament - unlike all other previous years. Loved the support the fans showed to John Scott throughout the whole thing and he proved he could actually play and keep up to the 3-on-3 (which was his first time playing 3-on-3) unlike some people thought he would just slow down the game and not be able to keep up. Knowing the NHL though - that's probably the first and last time something like this will happen - a player like John Scott playing in the All-Stars Game, I mean. What a turnaround! I went to a Pens game about a month ago and it doesn't look like it on TV, but Malkin is definitely the best player on the ice. The way he towers over people escapes from anything is insane.

El Dildo 14,386
you know where I stand. Avalanche are my home games now but I grew up with St Louis. unfortunately the Blues are the master choke-artists of the NHL. they're trying to do it again right now when they had Chicago all but put away... Ryan 3,953
Game 7 last night between Chicago and St. Louis did not disappoint. I don't hate Chicago, but given the struggles St. Louis has had the last few years, I was happy to see them win and knock off the defending cup champs.
