Anyone excited about All-Star weekend? Since it HAS to happen, I'll try to be at least excited for the three Ducks starting, and the Skills comp.

What are the chances of the Islanders moving to Kansas City? Sprint Center is a lovely, large facility just wasted on a sh*tty little AFL franchise.

From what I've heard recently, the local government in Long Island doesn't seem too fond of the Islanders.

What are the chances of the Islanders moving to Kansas City?

Here we go again. Remember the Scouts ?

Um, no? Should I?

Actually, you do remember them. After moving out of Kansas, they made a 5 year pit stop in Denver where they were known as the Rockies then moved to New Jersey where they still are and are known as the Devils devil.gif

It would be ridiculus that one of the best dynasties of the NHL, the early 80's Islanders, would move.

What's your guys thoughts on the new rule brought in by the NHL today?

If you didn't know, anybody who is voted into the All Star and doesn't show up has to now sit out a game before the all star break or after the all star break.

I supoport the new rule. The all star game is ment to be a gathering of all the great players of the game. Now a day's, alot of the good players are just skipping it so they can rest which is a bit of a let down for the NHL and the fan's. confused.gif

And now it's tied 7-7.

Do the Canadiens always have Bro Hymn as their goal song? I know Philly does, and that's bad enough.

Hopefully Teemu gets in the game against the Coyotes tomorrow night. The Ducks need scoring if they can't defend right.

Bobby Ryan: more goals than anyone in the month of January. Yet they didn't even let him play in the young stars game, not even as a sophomore.

Selanne looks to be ready to play tonight. It's been a very long month or so since he was injured. From the looks of how they played last night, he could put them back in a good position.

Cory Clouston just got his first win with the Sen's. They beat the Sabres in a shootout. 3-2 was the final I believe. icon14.gif

I'm disappointed in the "Habs". They just got their ass kicked by Toronto. 5-2 was the final. A lot of the blame for tonight’s game can be put on Carey Price as he was terrible tonight. On the last goal Toronto scored it was just off a face-off and he literally did nothing. He just stood there and moved his glove maybe an inch as the puck game near. confused.gif

For the first time this season the Ducks are out of the top 8. sad.gif Well, besides those first four games that they lost.

http://www.justin.tv/ usually have every game streamed. There are other better quality sites as well.

Anyone else see the Canucks and Leafs game? What an ending. It was like it was all planned out from the beginning. This is going to have Vancouver pumped for the next game.

Damn, the Sens played an absolute dreadful game today. Horrible skating, giveaways in the neutral zone and slot, and taking horrendous penalties due to their egos. I'm surprised we got things going late in the game with 2 back to back goals but it just wasn't enough to top the Habs' 5 goals.

I'm impressed with Clouston's game style. I find the Senator's game more upbeat with more forechecking and stronger attacks to the net. Though we've lost the last 3 games. dozingoff.gif

Hockey Day In Canada has been going pretty good so far.

It was nice to see the the Canadian's finally play a half decent game. Hopefully they can get out of their slump. As for Ottawa, they played like sh*t. They did make a nice effort to come back though. It was case of too little too late.

I watched a bit of the Canucks - Maple Leafs game. It looked like Toronto was the better team. Nice to see Vancouver is doing good.

Now I'm off to watch the battle of Alberta. Shoud be a good game there. wink.gif

Yes, good for the Ducks, since the oil losing means they get to keep the number 8 spot for now.

EDIT: oh, nevermind. confused.gif Didn't see it was an OTL. Well at least it was that. Thank you Lombardi and Bertuzzi (yuck, Bertuzzi)

GTAF has never been a hotbed of hockey fans.

As for the deadline. I like what the Ducks did to try and both make the playoffs and help their future.

That and that I haven't really known any Americans as big hockey fans. Its either Football then watch basketball, then to baseball.
