The Ducks finally won one. 4-0.

 

I went to the game, and had a hell of a night. I charge the win to my lucky 07 western conference championship hat.

 

After the game I went to the bar in the arena and saw Brian Hayward (TV announcer), Brian Burke (Ducks GM), Randy Carlyle (Ducks Head coach), Scott Niedermayer, Rob Niedermayer, J.S. Giguere, Francois Beauchemin, Jonas Hiller, Ryan Carter, and Kent Huskins.

 

I have some blurry pictures of Burke and Carlyle that I might upload tomorrow.

My Hurricanes are having a pretty good start this season, won 3-1 last night, I was flipping from the ALCS to their game.

 

I hope they can make the playoffs after 2 years of missing them.

Leighton was awesome. The Ducks would have scored three or four more goals last night, if they faced an inferior goalie.

The Ducks are rolling. They've bounced back above .500, after stumbling out of the gate, with five straight wins. And the scorers are hot. Teemu got three against Detroit, and Getzlaf got five assists.

 

This is the team I was talking about being excited about seeing before the season started.

I'm excited, I'm going to the Ducks @ Hurricanes game Sunday.

 

 

Upper deck though, those were the only seats available. (I kind of like upper deck though, you can see the whole game, its all about the atmosphere anyway.)

I just went to the Ducks game yesterday. Anaheim and Chicago have some unspoken rivalry. I swear every time they play it's physical, and you just get the sense that they don't like each other.

 

P.S. I saw Professional Skateboarder Mike V after the game in the Old No. 7 Club. I would have gotten a picture, but he was with his family, and didn't want to bother him.

Seems like you were the only one to get pictures, considering the game was blacked out for both teams.

 

I can't complain, though, considering the outcome. Jonas Hiller is on fire. In a year or two, the Ducks are going to end up with another situation like we had with Bryzgalov, where Hiller is going to be playing almost as good as Giguere (maybe even better), and it's not going to be fair to keep him.

The 3rd period was the killer for the Canes.

 

Also, do West Coast teams' fans get excited to see teams from the east come in their building like teams from around here do when teams like the Ducks come here?

Grabovski has just been suspended for 3 games for what he did yesterday.

For those who didn't get a chance to the see Leafs Vs Habs game last night, here is the video:

 

 

 

For those who are wondering where the bad blood comes from, the Kostitsyn Brothers and Grabovski are Belarussians and played for the Habs last year, however, Grabovski keeps bad mouthing them on his blog. I just hope next game the refs are gonna let Sergei Kostitsyn beat the crap out of that little idiot

That won't happen now we got Brad mothaf*ckin' May. What a typically Habs fan, just because Grabby wanted to play in a better Canadian city than he was in last season doesn't mean you guys have to go all hating on him. Seriously, who boos a non-allstar player every time he touches the puck these days. Gimme a break, once Burke builds up our team into a physical Canadian team we've been wanting for years we will dominate all the soft Euros on the Habs.

 

Just wait until we get Rick Nash.

 

Oh and he will be coming to Toronto, so just get ready for when it happens NHL.

Just believe it when you see it pal. You really think he likes playing in Columbus, no one even passes to him. Plus its obvious he wants to play here what Canadian kid born in Ontario doesn't? Hes contract is running out aswell, plus Burke likes hometown kids anyway.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if we pulled a deal off for Jay Bow, we got enough to offer its just a matter if Florida bites no chance he'll be re-signing with them anyway. Might as well come to Toronto least he would be back in Canada

 

Oh and btw Kaberle is our only allstar. Too bad he didn't waive his no trade clause last season, Carter plus a first rounder would have been sweet right about now.
