illspirit Posted September 21, 2007 Share Posted September 21, 2007 As you may have already noticed by now, we've done a bit of juggling with the staff over the last week or two. In addition to Mercie, Svip, Fuzzy Juzzy, and Waddy being promoted to global moderators, jllr has joined us again after a long vacation, and steve-m has been (re)promoted to admin. On a down note, Opius and Dalpura have both retired, and Azkoyen kinda disappeared from the internets. In other news, Rockstar Games released a new avatar series. We've stuck them on the forum so you can use them without resizing or rehosting. Direct your browser here to access them. And last but not least, PGC is reborn... sort of. As older members who walked the forums with the dinosaurs may remember, the original purpose of the gangs was to organize clans for GTAIII multiplayer. That never happened obviously, and over time the gangs morphed into something else. Using SA-MP however, it's possible to play online, so we've decided to give the gang/clan thing another shot. If you're interested, click on over to the multiplayer forum and have a look. Naturally, with GTAIV just around the corner, and Rockstar promising some form of online play, now would probably be a good time to start forming clans for it. Also, the new avatars look rather good and the new Multiplayer forum is a great addition and sounds like it will spark a new era at gtaforums, too bad I don't have San Andreas on computer.
