deathdealer
Lets get this right now Snake is older because Big Boss was in his 50s when he was cloned. Thats why Snake ages faster then others. But Solidus from MGS 2 was already older looking then both Solid and Liquid. Thats because he has all those Big Boss genes. Solidus was a perfect Big Boss clone. Solid only has dominant genes. I forgot what Liquid has, but its some genes that make him weaker then Solid. I only hope Snake doesn`t die. Butt maybe that would make a story even more epic and better. Kojima will make a right choice i have no doubt about that. And wans`t Solidus Raidens father or something like that. Gotta play MGS games again actually, It was revealed at the end of mgs 1 that liquid was the superior one and snake was the inferior one. you can hear it through the phone converstation that ocelot has with solidous after the msg 1 credits
beanmachine43
actually, It was revealed at the end of mgs 1 that liquid was the superior one and snake was the inferior one. you can hear it through the phone converstation that ocelot has with solidous after the msg 1 credits Here's the transcript of that conversation (well, for both endings): Yes sir. The entire unit was wiped out. Those two are still alive. The vector? Yes sir, FoxDie should become activated soon... Right on schedule. Yes, sir. I recovered all of Rex's dummy warhead data. ...No, sir. My cover is intact. Nobody knows who I really am. Yes, the DARPA Chief knew my identity, but he's been disposed of. Yes. The inferior one was the winner after all. ...That's right. Until the very end, Liquid thought he was the inferior one. Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye. Mr. President. Yes sir. The entire unit was wiped out. Those two are still alive. The vector? Yes sir. FoxDie should become activated soon... Right on schedule. Yes sir. I recovered all of Rex's dummy warhead data. ...No sir. My cover is intact. Nobody knows who I really am. Yes the DARPA Chief knew my identity but he's been disposed of. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye. Mr. President. And yeah: I think Solidus kills Raiden's parents during the Liberian Civil War, and becomes something like a mentor for him while Raiden was a child soldier. Or something like that. It all can get very confusing.
iRloading
Ooh, more cutscenes... my thoughts exactly. that entire trailer was nothing but a bunch of f*ckin fan service, and even more kojima plot twisters to keep what little thought process he has left. I honlestly think that this series dies after 3, there are too many overused acts in this one (a arms dealer...seriously) I'm not going to type them out, cause i don't want the fan boyz to sh*t all over themselves when they read this. But it also seems that I'm one of the few that didn't cum on themselves when they saw the trailer as well. story went all too convulsed on the latter part of MGS2 (I was stuck in WTF for 2 hours near the end... LONG f*ckING CUTSCENE) I mean, yeah~ a story is good for a game and whatnot, but not for one with as little IQ and comprehension as I I just want to blow sh*t up and look cool sneaking around doing it tho metal gear Rex should provide me an explosive orgasm if I can use it to step on soldiers and whatnot let's hope~

It shows how f*cking amazing this game will be. That, and MGS storyline is what makes such a great game.
papanesta
The only reason worth getting a PS3 in my view... The only reason I'll wipe the layer of dust off my PS3, probably.

Kippers
It'll be just like every other MGS game for me. I'll see videos and think it looks absalutly frikkin amazing, buy it, play it a bit and then get bored. and to follow the trend...This does look damn good. 習うより慣れろ

I agree with you for the most part, but I don't think we've ever seen an MGS game take such a large leap in terms of gameplay. MGS2 was more of the same with the original, and MGS3 introduced the new jungle environment and camoflauge (and later a 3D camera). Guns of the Patriots in my eyes has so much more depth to it than the past. You get the option of being a total badass and going in guns blazing, when in the past it wasn't really possible (at least on the harder settings). You get the option to purchase weapons, fight alongside the militia, and a whole bunch of other stuff along with that. The replay value is going to be huge, and that's just the singe player stuff alone.
