pc help please

so i've been playin san andreas on my pc for a couple years now, installed it uninstalled it a couple of times, over the time that i've had it. This time when i installed the game, it works just as normal except for one thing... every time i rightclick to go into free aim mode, the curser flies to the right and keeps spinning. not matter what i do the aimer keeps spinning towords the right. it is very difficult to aim like this. i tryed to uninstall the game and reinstall it but that didn't help and i have rebooted my computer several times, i have the problem befor i install the offical patch and even after i install the patch, i know that it isn't my mouse or any of my hardwear because it is all the same as befor when i could actually play gta sa on my pc, i have tryed different mouses and updating all of my drivers... i bought my gta game from eb games and it is legit not a wares title, the disk isn't scratched or damaged in anyway... i also have sent many e-mails to rockstars support website but i have not gotten any replys back, i've serched for days on different fourms looking for a solution but no one else seems to have this problem... do any of you guys have any ideas?? have you had this problem?? is there any known soulution?? should i just trash my cd and throw my pc out the window?? any help would be nice, thank you!

Try unplugging the controller pad, if You have one plugged in ^^

do you think that will help?? i am using the mouse and keyboardsetting, but i do have a controller plugged into my computer too... the controller doesn't work for san andreas so thats why im stuck using the mouse and keyboard setup...has any one else had this problem?

Many people have had this problem and it was solved by unplugging the controller as TheTank suggested.

yea, i got it fixed, i feel pretty dumb but its cool now thanks for the info!, i have 1 other question tho...sometimes when i start san andreas it loads up goes to the audio screen then to the nvidia or what ever screen, then fades to the "grand theft auto san andreas" screen wit all the pitures on it, half the time i try to play the game it will freeze at that last screen and not fade into the in game menu, i can't alt tab out of the game, can't alt f4 to close it and if i press ctrl alt del it takes a good 5 mins befor it goes back to my desktop, is there somthin wrong goin on? any other people have this problem?? i have tryed reading these forums and others about the same topic but no one has described it quite like this and most of the time the game freezes while your actually playin it and not at the main screen. any ideas?

Do you mean that the intro movie does not play at all?

Have you by any chance deleted the video files?

The intro movie does play but the screen that comes on right after the intro (the one that is a still image of "gta san andreas" with 12 different pictures and all the legal information at the bottem) freezes 2/3 of the time i try to play this game, it freezes for hours and i always have to restart my computer. It is NOT that same problem as many other people have where that game doesn't load at all and is resoulved by deleteing the "gta_set" file! the game freezes at the last screen befor the menu pops up wit "start game" "options" and "quit game".
