WarPenguin
hi, This is my first car mod, and I'm having a few troubles with the Windscreen. In ZModeler as well as in GGMM the windscreen is in the right place, but in the game it is half-meter away from its original position in th model! (the same happens with the doors) Could somebody explain me how this works? thanks
ptkamikaz
Vê se os dummies estam no lugar certo. See if the dummies are in the right place.
Mark
Also check the local axis of the models. You see those right-angled strange thingies that every object has? Yup, those. They need to be moved so they're at the same place as the dummy, and orientated the same way too. In ZM1, the easy way to move em is to have the "SEL" button selected, but don't actually select the object. This will cause the local axis to move. If using ZM2, just specify to "Move Pivot Only" in the Move options.
WarPenguin
thanks a lot, I'm gonna try to move the local axis as soon as I get home. I realy never thought of that! Thanks!
WarPenguin
I tried moving the local axis and it worked, the windscreen is now where it should be. But it is smaler than it should, has that got something to do with the local axis or is it something diferent? Thanks
92F
Just scale it up along the vertical and/or horizontal axis.
WarPenguin
What I was saying is that the windscreen has the right size in ZModeler but not in the game. And oversizing it in the model doesn't work. Sorry if I expressed myself incorrectly! thanks
