Leprechaun
Prologue It is 1986. The place is Midtown, New York, New York City. In Midtown’s Bistro, Don Santino Falcone of the Falcone Family was having a conversation with three Falcone Family mobsters. He was a tall plump Italian man who had brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a green pinstriped suit. “Tommy Valachi. Huh! Yikes. Didn't think they'd ever let him out” said Don Santino Falcone. “He kept his head down which helps people forget” said the first Falcone Family mobster. “People will remember soon enough. When they see him walking down the streets of their neighborhoods, it will be bad for business” said Don Santino Falcone. “Well, what are we going to do, boss?” asked the second Falcone Family mobster. “We treat him like an old friend and keep him busy out of town. OK? We been talking about expanding down south, right? Miami is twenty-four carat gold these days. The Colombians, the Mexicans, hell even those Cuban refugees are cutting themselves a piece of some nice action” said Don Santino Falcone. “But its all drugs, boss. None of the families will touch that stuff!” said the third Falcone Family mobster. “Times are changing. The families can't keep their backs turned while our enemies reap the rewards. So, we send someone down to do the dirty work for us and cut ourselves a nice quiet slice. OK? Who's our contact down there?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “Ken Robinson, an English lawyer. How's he going to hold Valachi's leash?” asked the first Falcone Family mobster. “We don't need him to. We just set him loose in Miami; we give him a little cash to get started. OK? Give it a few months. Then we go down, pay him a little visit, right? See how he's doing” said Don Santino Falcone. A day later at Miami’s international airport, a stocky Englishman who had brown hair and blue eyes picked up Tommy Valachi, a tall slim Italian man who had brown hair and brown eyes in a rental car. The stocky Englishman was wearing a business suit while Tommy was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and blue jeans. Accompanying Tommy was two bodyguards. “I’m Tommy Valachi” said the tall slim Italian man. “I’m Ken Robinson” said the tall Englishman. Ken then drove Tommy and his two bodyguards to the dealing point at the Miami Docks. An hour later, the four men arrived at Miami Docks. As they arrived, the suppliers arrived in a helicopter. One stayed in the helicopter while the other went to meet Tommy and his two bodyguards. “OK, that's them in the chopper. All right, here's the deal. They want a straight exchange on open ground” said Ken. Tommy and the two bodyguards who were carrying the money in steel-reinforced suitcases walked up to one of the suppliers. “Got it?” asked Tommy. “100% pure grade-A Colombian, my friend” said the supplier. “Let me see it” ordered Tommy. The supplier opened up their steel-reinforced briefcase to show off the cocaine. “The greens?” asked the supplier. Tommy opened up one of his steel-reinforced briefcases to show off the money. “Tens and twenties used” said Tommy. “I think we have a deal, my friend” said the supplier. Suddenly hitmen dressed in khaki clothes rolled out from behind some nearby crates and opened fire on both parties. “Yikes!” shouted Tommy. Tommy then headed back to the rental car where Ken was sitting in who was watching the murder of one of the suppliers and the two bodyguards. “Go on, get out of here! Drive!” ordered Tommy as he got into Ken’s rental car. Ken did a U-turn and accelerated out of the docks back to his office which was located in South Beach. After arriving at his office which was located in South Beach, Ken started to have a conversation with Tommy. “I poke my head out of the gutter for one freaking second and fate shovels dirt in my face!” said Ken. “Go get some sleep” said Tommy. “What are you going to do?” asked Ken. “I'll drop by your office tomorrow and we can start sorting this mess out” said Tommy. Tommy then headed to his rented flat which was situated in South Beach to report the tragedy to his boss, Don Santino Falcone. En route, he listened to the news: “We interrupt your programming with a message from the state department. All bridges and some roads in Miami’s metropolitan area have been closed because of a severe weather warning. Meteorologists are tracking a hurricane which has devastated five Caribbean islands and is heading for Miami”. An Old Friend Fifteen minutes later after entering the rented flat and unpacking, Tommy phoned Don Santino Falcone via his mobile to report the unexpected turn of events. “Hello sir” said Tommy. “Tommy! Tommy, it's been too long. I know, I know. You're just overwhelmed with emotion. Fifteen years - seems like only yesterday” said Don Santino Falcone. “I guess that's a perspective thing” said Tommy. “Hey, doing time for the family is no piece of cake but the family looks after its own, ok? So, how'd the deal go down - you sitting on some white gold?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “Look sir, we were ambushed. The deal was a set up. The bodyguards are dead” said Tommy. “You better be kidding me Tommy. Tell me you still got the money” said Don Santino Falcone. “No sir, I don't have the money” said Tommy. “That was my money, Tommy! You better not be screwing me Tommy because you know I'm not a man to be screwed with!” said Don Santino Falcone. “Wait sir. You have my personal assurance that I'm going to get your money back and the drugs. And I'm going to mail you those responsible” said Tommy. “Hey, I already know that. You're not a fool Tommy but I warn you, neither am I. If it was anybody else you'd be dead already. But because it's you, because we got history, I'm going to let you handle this” said Don Santino Falcone. “Look, sir, you got my word. I'll be in touch” said Tommy. After turning off his mobile, Tommy went to bed to get some sleep. The Party The next day at noon, Tommy visited Ken at his office. Upon Tommy’s arrival, Ken started to hold a meeting between both of them. “This is a disaster. We are so screwed, man! These gorillas, listen to me are going to come down here and rip my head off. It's ridiculous! I did NOT go to law school for this! OK, now what the hell are we going to do?” asked Ken. “Shut up, sit down and relax. I'll tell you what we're going to do. You're going to find out who took our cocaine and then, I'm going to kill them” said Tommy. “That's a good idea. Anyway, there's this Mexican colonel named Martinez. He's the one that helped me set up this deal well away from Miami's established thugs. He's holding his party out in the bay on his expensive yacht and all of Miami's big players are going to be there. I have an invite but there's no way that I'm going out there sticking my head out the door!” said Ken. “I told you, shut up! I'll go myself” said Tommy. Tommy then left Ken’s office and headed down to the marina to see only a big yacht docked. After boarding the yacht, Tommy was escorted to the top deck to be met by a Mexican man who had grey hair and blue eyes. He was wearing an army officer’s uniform. “Welcome, I understand you are here on the behalf of Mr. Robinson, I hope any recent problems have not affected his health, Mr.?” asked the Mexican man. “Valachi. He's just got a touch of agoraphobia” said Tommy. “Excellent! My name is Colonel Martinez” said the Mexican man. “I just want my merchandise” said Tommy. “Ah. It's an unfortunate set of circumstances for all involved. Of course I have initiated my own lines of inquiry but such a delicate matter will take time. Perhaps we will talk later. Meanwhile, let me introduce you to my daughter, Yolanda!” said Colonel Martinez. Suddenly, a young Mexican girl who had blonde hair and green eyes approached Tommy and Colonel Martinez. She was wearing a soiree outfit. “Yolanda, could you look after our guest while I attend to my necessary obligations?” asked Colonel Martinez. “Of course, daddy” said the young Mexican girl. “Please excuse me” said Colonel Martinez. “Yolanda?” asked Tommy. “You try living with it. Anyway, let me point out some of our more distinguished guests. That's our real estate tycoon Adam Cartwright” said Yolanda. Yolanda pointed over to an tall Englishman who had a grey beard, grey hair and blue eyes and who was wearing a cowboy outfit. “Over there is Papa's right hand man, Gonzalez” said Yolanda. Yolanda pointed over to a small stout Mexican man who had a brown moustache, brown hair and brown eyes. The small stout Mexican man was wearing a yellow Hawaiian shirt and white pants. While Tommy and Yolanda continued to talk, a small plump Colombian man who had blond hair and black eyes arrived. The small plump Colombian man was wearing a red Hawaiian shirt and white pants. “Colonel, your parties as ever are a triumph! I can only apologize for my late arrival” said the small plump Colombian man. “Ah, don’t mind that my friend. How are you?” asked Colonel Martinez. “Our business is very trying due to barbarians at the gates. A time for rewarding one's friends and liquidating one's enemies, amigo” said the small plump Colombian man. “Who's the loudmouth?” asked Tommy. “Ricardo Ochoa. He's Mr. Coke” said Yolanda. “Anyway take me to the Pole Position Club before I’m spotted by Mr. Coke” said Yolanda. After leaving Colonel Martinez’s yacht, Tommy escorted Yolanda to the Pole Position Club which was situated in South Beach. After dropping her off, Tommy listened to the news: “We interrupt your programming to inform you all bridges in Miami’s metropolitan area have been reopened. The hurricane has not hit the city. Sorry for causing any problems. We thank you for your patience”. Tommy then decided to take a drive around the city to familiar himself with the local points of interest. Back Alley Brawl The next day early in the evening, Tommy visited Ken at his office. Upon Tommy’s arrival, Ken started to hold a meeting between both of them. “Well, I hope you're having a good time because I'm going out of my mind with worry here. What did you find out?” asked Ken. “That there are more criminals in this town than in prison. We need a lead from the streets” said Tommy. “OK, there's this slime ball goes by the name of Gareth Northcott. Anyway, he's got his nose so far up most of Miami's underworld that if anybody knows the whereabouts of 20 kilos of cocaine, it's this guy, all right? He's always at the Malibu” said Ken. “I'll go pay him a visit” said Tommy. Tommy then left Ken’s office and headed down to the Malibu which was located in Collins Avenue. Upon entering the nightclub, Tommy asked one of the bouncers to lead him to Gareth Northcott. The bouncer did so. The man he was directed to was a tall Englishman who had brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a red t-shirt and jeans. “You Gareth Northcott?” asked Tommy. “Yes, I am” said the tall Englishman. Tommy then got Gareth’s arm and twisted it. Then he got Gareth’s head and smashed it on the bar counter. “I'm a friend of Robinson's” said Tommy. “Robinson? Oh, that mad ambulance chaser! That guy could defend an innocent man all the way to death row! Give us another drink, my friend. Everybody's a comedian” said Gareth. “Listen to me! I'm missing twenty kilos and a lot of cash” said Tommy. “Drugs, mate? It's a mug's game” said Gareth. “What do you know about it?” asked Tommy. “There's some chef who deals out in kitchen of a hotel in Little Havana. He's been looking real pleased with himself lately. You could go and check him out!” said Gareth. “I will and I'll be seeing you around” said Tommy. Tommy then released Gareth and exited the Malibu. After hailing a taxi, Tommy got the driver to drop him on the edge of Little Havana. After walking down the street, Tommy witnessed a chef who was acting very suspiciously go into a side alley. No doubt that must have been the chef, Gareth was talking about, Tommy thought. Immediately Tommy followed the chef into the side alley and confronted him. “Hey, what are you looking at?” asked the chef. “You better start talking” said Tommy. “Hey, make me, wiseguy!” said the chef. Tommy then attacked the rude chef. After a few minutes of beating, the chef collapsed to the ground dead. Tommy retrieved the dead chef’s mobile phone. Suddenly, a tall African-American man who had brown hair and brown eyes appeared out of nowhere. He was wearing a white jacket, an orange shirt and white trousers. “Oh, way to go, tough guy. Beat him to a pulp. That should make him real chatty” said the mysterious tall African-American man. “You want some, too?” asked Tommy. “Hey, chill. I want what you want, brother” said the mysterious tall African-American man. “Oh, yeah? And what's that?” asked Tommy. “Your money and my dead brother's white lady. Unfortunately, you just silenced our lead” said the mysterious tall African-American man. “Accidents happen. Get lost” said Tommy. “Hey, hey, whoa. No need to go all 'Lone Ranger' on my ass. The way I see it, we two hombres in a strange town. We need to watch each other's back” said the mysterious tall African-American man. “My back's just fine, brother” said Tommy. “Anyway take these as gifts” said the mysterious tall African-American man. The mysterious tall African-American man then gave Tommy an Uzi. He also threw to Tommy a pair of car keys. Tommy recognized the car keys. They were for a Ferrari. The mysterious tall African-American man then disappeared. Tommy then went back onto the street to find a red Ferrari sitting in a lay-by. Suddenly, the dead chef’s phone rang. Tommy answered it. “Boss, I think I found a buyer for Ochoa’s merchandise. You’ve got to give him a ring to set up the deal, you know?” said the caller. The caller then hung up. Tommy then got into the Ferrari and decided to head to the local golf club to play some golf. Riot The next day late in the afternoon, Tommy visited Ken at his office. Upon Tommy’s arrival, he saw Ken holding a meeting with the real estate tycoon, Adam Cartwright from Colonel Martinez’s party. “Adam, it goes without saying. Tommy, any progress? No, tell me later. Tommy, this is Adam Cartwright - I believe you met at the party?” asked Ken. “Not in person” said Tommy. “Howdy” said Adam Cartwright. “Adam here has a proposition” said Ken. “Haven't we got other things on our mind?” asked Tommy. “I'm trying to keep the wolves from the door so could you please cut me some slack? I'm stretched like a wire and even if I'm dead by the end of the week, I'd like to think that I didn't die poor” said Ken. “Now just calm down, both of you. Son, you help me and any grease balls giving you a hard time, I'll see to it they take a long dirt nap” said Adam Cartwright. “Ok. What can I do for you?” asked Tommy. “This delivery company's got its depot on some prime land. They won't sell. They're hanging on like a big old prairie rat, so we got to go in there and smoke that vermin out. Head on down there and stir up a hornet's nest - the security will have their hands full and then you can sneak in and put them out of business” said Adam Cartwright. “Should be a riot” said Tommy. Tommy then left Ken’s office and headed down to the delivery company which was located in Downtown Miami. After parking his red Ferrari, Tommy started a riot between the workers which lured two security guards out. Tommy then crept into the compound and started a fire beside some explosive barrels which were placed beside the delivery company’s three delivery trucks. After escaping back onto the main street unseen and driving about half a block away from the delivery company, Tommy heard an explosion indicating the destruction of the delivery company’s three delivery trucks. As he headed to the local beach to get a sun tan, Tommy got a phone call from Don Santino Falcone. “Hey Tommy, its Don Santino Falcone, how’s the sun tan?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “I haven’t got a sun tan” said Tommy. “Well, you haven’t got my money, either so I’m wondering to myself, what are you doing? So, tell me, Tommy what are you doing?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “I’m looking for the money, sir. Don’t worry” said Tommy. “I am worrying, Tommy, that’s my style because I seem to have this problem in my life with unreliable people. Don’t be an unreliable person, Tommy, please. Do us both a favor. I’m looking forward to hearing from you” said Don Santino Falcone. Don Santino Falcone then hung up. Tommy then continued on his journey to the beach. Treacherous Swine The next day at noon, Tommy got a call on his mobile from Colonel Martinez. “Mr. Valachi?” asked Colonel Martinez. “Yes, I am” said Tommy. “This is the colonel. You were at my party” said Colonel Martinez. “Yes, I remember” said Tommy. “Mr. Valachi, it was a most unfortunate incident that happened to your business deal” said Colonel Martinez. “I know” said Tommy. “I want you to know me and my people are doing their utmost to get to the bottom of it. If you’d like to talk to me more privately, you can find me at the boat, eh? Okay? Good day” said Colonel Martinez. Colonel Martinez then hung up. Tommy headed over towards the marina and approached the yacht. After boarding the yacht, Tommy was escorted to the top deck to be met by Colonel Martinez. “Mr. Valachi!” said Colonel Martinez. “Colonel” said Tommy. “Thank you for coming. Please sit” said Colonel Martinez. “No – thanks” said Tommy. “I'm ashamed to admit that one of the causes of our mutual problem appears to have been the loose tongue of a man I used to trust. I've been hiring Gonzalez for years, but now his incompetence reaches new heights! It is only right that you kill Gonzalez” said Colonel Martinez. “Did he do it? It's the money that's important to me” said Tommy. “Rumor has it; he has been mingling with some shady characters lately. He will be at his Penthouse in Downtown Miami, half drunk probably” said Colonel Martinez. After leaving Colonel Martinez’s yacht, Tommy proceeded over towards Gonzalez’s penthouse which was situated in Downtown Miami. Upon reaching the top floor of the penthouse via elevator, Tommy saw Gonzalez drinking vodka. Tommy approached Gonzalez and massacred him. After leaving the murder scene, Tommy then decided to go over to the Pole Position Club for some R&R via his newly acquired red Ferrari. Guardian Angels The next day early in the evening, Tommy visited Colonel Martinez at his yacht. “Tommy, I appreciate your coming. Forgive me for getting straight to business. My associate Ricardo Ochoa has asked me to oversee a minor business transaction” said Colonel Martinez. “Let's hope it goes better than last time, huh?” asked Tommy. “Which is why I thought of you, my friend? Go and watch over Ochoa and his men at the drop off in Little Haiti. Thank you, my friend” said Colonel Martinez. After leaving Colonel Martinez’s yacht, Tommy proceeded over towards the drop off which was situated in Little Haiti. Halfway en route, Tommy pulled into the gas station to refill his red Ferrari. There he met the mysterious tall African-American man again. “Hogging all the action, I see” said the mysterious tall African-American man. “Look, you want to do something other than just shadowing me everywhere? Why don't you come along and show me if you're any use” said Tommy. “I might just do that. The name's Leroy Valentine, by the way” said the mysterious tall African-American man. Both Tommy and Leroy then headed towards the drop off which was located in Little Haiti. Upon their arrival, they met Ricardo Ochoa who was flanked by four bodyguards. The four bodyguards were armed with MP5s. “You must be Colonel Martinez's new gun” said Ricardo. “Until more gainful opportunities arise. Anyway, they'll be here any minute - we both better get a good vantage point” said Tommy. “OK! I'll take the balcony; you get the roof across the yard” said Leroy. Tommy and Leroy then got into their positions. Five minutes later, a black van arrived at the drop off. No doubt they were the buyers. A few minutes after the deal has started, the buyers got annoyed and double-crossed Ricardo Ochoa by stealing his money. “MY MONEY! Don't just stand there. Chase that thief down!” ordered Ricardo. “Tommy! I'll stay here and watch over Mr. Ochoa!” said Leroy. Tommy then abandoned his position and gave chase after the double-crossers by stealing a nearby dirt bike. After performing a drive-by on the black van which made the driver crash, Tommy recovered the money and returned it to Ricardo Ochoa. “I live and it's all down to you! What is your name?” asked Ricardo. “Tommy” said Tommy. “I see you soon, amigo, I think!” said Ricardo. Tommy looked around for Leroy. He was nowhere in sight. “Blimey. Where's that guy Leroy?” asked Tommy to himself. After leaving the drop off, Tommy then decided to go over to the gym to improve his physique via his newly acquired red Ferrari. En route he got a phone call from Ricardo. “Tommy, it’s Ricardo, I want to thank you for looking out for me my man. I asked my associate Martinez about you. He said you are the real deal, my friend. Why you not visiting me? I need a guy like you. All I have now is morons everywhere. I will make you real rich” said Ricardo. Ricardo then hung up. Tommy then continued his trip over to the gym. All Hands on Deck The next day late in the afternoon, Tommy visited Colonel Martinez at his yacht. “Circumstances force a hasty departure, my friend” said Colonel Martinez. “What's the problem?” asked Tommy. “I stole some missile technology from the French. They want it back” said Colonel Martinez. “Wouldn't it be safer to fly?” asked Tommy. “I'd be dead before I reached check-in. Besides, I need to get my merchandise out of the country” said Colonel Martinez. “Need another gun?” asked Tommy. “You, my friend, are worth ten guns” said Colonel Martinez. Colonel Martinez’s yacht then set sail only to be followed by four French assault boats. Luckily, Colonel Martinez’s men and Tommy managed to hold them off. “Tommy, you have protected and served me well. But now you must leave us before we reach the open seas. I will lower my personal launch. Keep it, my friend as a token of my gratitude” said Colonel Martinez. “Thank you, Colonel” said Tommy. After boarding his newly-acquired speedboat, Tommy headed to dry land. After docking the speedboat, Tommy decided to go sight seeing. The Chase The next day at noon, Tommy got a call on his mobile from Ricardo inviting him to come to his mansion which was situated on Star Island. Upon Tommy entering his office, Ricardo held a conversation with him. “You did a good job so you work for me now” said Ricardo. “I work for money” said Tommy. “As I said, my friend, you work for me now. Shut up. Some Judas has betrayed me. He thinks I don't know how much money I should be making but stealing 3% is as good as stealing 100%. No one does this to me. NO ONE!! You follow him from his apartment and you see where he goes! Later, we will kill him” said Ricardo. Tommy then left the office and exited the mansion. After leaving Ricardo’s mansion, Tommy proceeded over towards the skimming dealer’s apartment which was situated in Collins Avenue. After parking his red Ferrari, Tommy walked up some stairs to the skimming dealer’s apartment and peeked through the window. Suddenly, the skimming dealer arrived in an orange SUV. The skimming dealer noticed Tommy so he started to make a run for it. Tommy saw the skimming dealer make his escape so he followed by a scooter. After some evasive driving, Tommy still managed to trail the skimming dealer to his stronghold which was located in the Upper Eastside. After learning of the stronghold’s location, Tommy then headed back to Ricardo’s mansion which was located on Star Island. Phnom Penh ‘86 Forty minutes later, Tommy arrived back at Ricardo’s mansion. Upon Tommy entering his office, Ricardo held a conversation with him. “Tommy!” said Ricardo. “What’s up, Ricardo?” asked Tommy. “These idiots are always trying to screw me. That's the problem with this business. What do you think you're doing? These idiots have failed me miserably. Soon any mom and pop will think they can sell cocaine in Miami. What next, huh? The stinking Mafia?” asked Ricardo. Tommy then told Ricardo the location of the skimming dealer’s stronghold. “So you are going up against the Sharks. That means the stronghold will be heavily guarded. It will be a fortress at ground level so Leroy here will fly you over the area!” said Ricardo. Leroy Valentine then appeared at the office’s entrance. “Eradicate them!” ordered Ricardo. While on the helipad, Tommy and Leroy had a conversation. “What are you doing here?” asked Tommy. “Hey, I've been asking around and it's obvious that Ochoa jumped the deal and killed my brother” said Leroy. “And he'll kill you, too!” said Tommy. “I can take Ochoa!” said Leroy. “No - listen to me! I'll handle Ochoa - he's beginning to trust me” said Tommy. Leroy piloted the chopper while Tommy manned the onboard machine gun. Leroy then flew the chopper over to the Upper Eastside. Upon hovering above the skimming dealer’s stronghold, the chopper got attacked by numerous Sharks who were armed with M16 assault rifles. The Sharks were all wearing blue t-shirts and blue jeans. The blue t-shirts had pictures of sharks on them. Luckily, Tommy managed to eradicate all the Sharks including the skimming dealer. After picking up the stolen profits, Leroy flew Tommy back to Ricardo’s mansion where he handed them over. Supply & Demand After Tommy had handed over the stolen profits to Ricardo, Ricardo held a conversation with him. “Now Tommy each month a freelancer sails into Miami and moors his yacht. He sells his cargo to the first boat. I want you to take the speedboat and beat all the other customers to it then you bring the cargo here, ok!?” asked Ricardo. “Yes, it is” said Tommy. Tommy then headed out to the mansion’s jetty where he met Leroy. “Let me guess, you thought I could use a guardian angel” said Tommy. “I'm just saying you need to let me in there, my man. Now you can feed me all this 'lonely tough guy' business but I know one day I'm going to save your ass and you're probably going to want to kiss me!” said Leroy. “Wacko” said Tommy. Leroy laughed. “So Tommy, we know it was Ochoa busted our deal. So why the hell are we running errands for him?” asked Leroy. “The more we learn now the less we have to learn when we take this town over!” said Tommy. “I like your style, man. Real fresh” said Leroy. Tommy drove the speedboat while Leroy manned the onboard machine gun. Tommy then drove the speedboat over to the freelancer’s boat. En route the speedboat got attacked by the rest of the competition. Luckily, Leroy managed to eradicate all the competition. After picking up the cargo, Tommy drove both of them back to Ricardo’s mansion. After handing over the cargo to Ricardo, Tommy and Leroy exited the mansion’s grounds and headed their separate ways. Since it was such a tense day, Tommy headed over to the local casino to unwind. Upon entering the casino, Tommy got a phone call from Leroy. “Hello Tommy! It’s Leroy” said Leroy. “Yeah?” asked Tommy. “Oh, nice to hear from you, Leroy. Come on, man, be cool, be cool” said Leroy. “I’m in the middle of something. What do you want?” asked Tommy. “Nothing. Just to say, you know. Look Tommy, we can do this thing. You and me, no problem. You know what I mean?” asked Leroy. “We’re going to have to do it because otherwise, we’re going to be dead, Leroy. We’re in too far now. But thanks for the call. I’ll speak to you later” said Tommy. Leroy then hung up. Tommy then gambled. Death Row The next day at noon, Tommy got a call on his mobile from Gareth. “Alright, pal! It’s Gareth. I might have a little result for you but I need to speak to you in person. I’m enjoying a little R&R at the Malibu. Reckon you’re going to owe me a favor or two after this, sunshine. I’ll see you soon” said Gareth. Gareth then hung up. Tommy speeded over towards the Malibu. Upon entering the Malibu, Tommy was approached by Gareth. “You know that Ochoa fellow. He's got your boy, Leroy. Word is your mate tried to jump him. Seems he didn't jump high enough if you know what I mean” said Gareth. “Where did he take him?” asked Tommy. “They got him across town at the junkyard in Little Haiti” said Gareth. Tommy then left the Malibu and raced over towards the junkyard which was situated in Little Haiti. Upon entering the junkyard, Tommy got assaulted by several gunmen. After eradicating them all, Tommy liberated Leroy. “There goes my careful planning blown to dust, thanks to you. You screwed up real good, Leroy!” said Tommy. “He killed my brother. What do you expect me to do, mow his lawns?” asked Leroy. “We're going to have to take out Ochoa before he takes us out. You ok to use a gun?” asked Tommy. “Sure, I guess. Nice to see you, too” said Leroy. “Let's get out of here” said Tommy. Tommy then managed to drive Leroy safely to the hospital. Before Leroy went into the hospital, Tommy said to him “Get patched up and meet me on the bridge to Star Island, OK?”. As Leroy headed into the hospital, Tommy decided to head to the local gun shop to buy some ammunition. Rub Out The next day early in the evening, Tommy met Leroy outside Ricardo’s mansion compound. “I got us some cannons in the trunk” said Leroy. Leroy then opened his sedan trunk to reveal an arsenal of weapons. “Blimey. Where'd you get all this stuff?” asked Tommy. “Been saving it for a rainy day” said Leroy. “You like?” asked Leroy. “Yeah, I like” said Tommy. Tommy and Leroy then penetrated the mansion’s compound. En route to the mansion’s inner sanctum, Tommy and Leroy fought Ricardo’s bodyguards. After entering the inner sanctum Tommy and Leroy found Ricardo in his office with two bodyguards. Ricardo was armed with two Desert Eagles. Leroy gunned down the two bodyguards. “OCHOA! I've come to take over your business!” said Tommy. “TOMMY! You betrayed me, you idiot! I'm going to kill you real soon” said Ricardo. After a few shots, Ricardo kneeled over but was still alive. “You are idiots. My beautiful house look what you've done to it!” said Ricardo. “This is for my brother!” said Leroy. Leroy then shot Ricardo in the head. Tommy then established the Valachi Outfit. The Valachi Outfit’s enforcers wore black sunglasses, blue shirts and white pants. Tommy and Leroy then planned out their takeover of Miami. After the planning of Miami’s takeover, Tommy got a call from Don Santino Falcone. “Tommy, remember me?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “Hello sir” said Tommy. “That’s right. We’re old friends! You never write me, you never call. Don’t you want to be friends no more?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “I’ve been busy trying to sort things out. You didn’t give me a lot of support down here, boss” said Tommy. “Oh, my fault is it? Well I’ve heard you been busy all right. Busy killing drug barons and busy taking over. Don’t forget about me, Tommy because I assure you, I haven’t forgotten about you” said Don Santino Falcone. Don Santino Falcone then hung up. Tommy then went to the mansion’s office and cracked open the safe. He started to count the money inside it. Otto’s Autos The next day late in the afternoon, Tommy got a phone call from Adam. “Hello Tommy, just thought I’d ring you up and give you some advice” said Adam. “Hey, Adam. What’s kind of advice?” asked Tommy. “There’s a lot of opportunity in this town if you own the right real estate, you catch my drift?” asked Adam. “I reckon so” said Tommy. “All I’m saying is keep your eyes open and you might find the perfect business opportunity. I’ll catch you later” said Adam. “Later, Adam” said Tommy. Adam then hung up. Tommy then went on a search for real estate that needed to be bought. As he entering Little Havana, Tommy saw a car showroom called Otto’s Autos up for sale. Tommy decided to pull into the car park and enter reception. Upon reaching the main desk, Tommy was met by the owner. “Can I help you?” asked the owner. “Can I buy here?” asked Tommy. “OK. What is your name, sir?” asked the owner. “Tommy Valachi” said Tommy. “Mr. Valachi would you like the tour?” asked the owner. “Might as well” said Tommy. The owner then took Tommy on a tour round the premises. “Well, I'm very sad to be selling the dealership to you. But now it's time for me to move on” said the owner. “You're leaving town? Not in too much of a hurry, I hope?” asked Tommy. “No. I'm just coming out of retirement and preparing for my future comeback. The business wasn't too strong and my staff took it upon themselves to get a bit more creative with the generation of wealth. Obviously, I could wind down the business before I hand it over. Hell, I could burn the place down if I wanted to. This is prime development land” said the owner. “Oh, I wouldn't worry about any of that. This place seems perfect” said Tommy. “Yeah it does, so I take it we have a deal?” asked the owner. “We sure do” said Tommy. The owner then showed Tommy a contract designating him as the new owner. Tommy signed it. The previous owner then left. Tommy then went into the manager’s office and phoned the local newspaper and told them to put a add in for two car salesmen, two receptionists and two security guards. Tommy then got a phone call from Leroy. “Tommy, we’ve got to talk about stuff” said Leroy. “What’s the problem?” asked Tommy. “It’s you, my friend; I feel you’re not giving me a fair slice. And more than that, you’ve been embarrassing me in front of the boys. I can’t have that” said Leroy. “Leroy, it isn’t like that. You’ve been making mistakes” said Tommy. “Tommy, I’m not your message boy. I’m not your running boy” said Leroy. “Leroy, don’t screw up and we won’t have any problems. I screw up; you can lay into me anytime” said Tommy. “Tommy, I’ve done everything for you, you treat me like a fool. Don’t do that” said Leroy. “Leroy, I won’t rip you off or stab you in the back, ok? Just take it easy. This is tough enough without you getting all emotional on me. Trust me. Do you hear me, do you hear me? “I hear you, Tommy but I can’t take this much more” said Leroy. “Leroy, don’t be like this. Now I’m warning you. Do you hear me? Just relax, take a few days off. Okay? I’ll talk to you” said Tommy. Leroy then hung up. Tommy then started to plan his next buying venture. Kinski Cabs The next day at noon, Tommy visited Kinski Cabs in Little Haiti. Upon entering Tommy was met by the radio dispatcher. “You want to buy the place?” asked the radio dispatcher. “Yeah, I do” said Tommy. “OK” said the radio dispatcher. The radio dispatcher then showed Tommy a contract designating him as the new owner. Tommy signed it. “Now you're the owner. What are you, mob?” asked the radio dispatcher. “Yes, I am. My name is Tommy Valachi and I’m the Boss of the Valachi Outfit” said Tommy. The radio dispatcher turned on the taxi firm’s address system. “Now hear this. We are now under new management and things are going to change around here again. Our new management, the Valachi Outfit is going to make sure we get no trouble. Capiche? Out!” said the radio dispatcher. The radio dispatcher turned off the taxi firm’s address system. “So this is how it's worked in the past. We run the firm as usual. If we get any trouble from rival firms, we hire heavies to deal with them” said the radio dispatcher. “OK” said Tommy. Recruitment Drive The next day early in the evening, Tommy visited the Paramount Film Studios in the Upper Eastside. Upon entering the main set, Tommy saw a move was being acted out. Suddenly it stopped. The head director met Tommy. “You want to buy this film studio?” asked the head director. “Yes” said Tommy. “OK” said the head director. The head director then showed Tommy a contract designating him as the new owner. Tommy signed it. “Now we're going to be making some changes around here and start making some real money” said Tommy. “OK” said the head director. “But first we're going to need a good-looking broad” said Tommy. “Yeah, girls are fine!” said the head director. Tommy left Paramount Studios and headed over to South Beach. At the Pole Position Club, he picked up Yolanda. “Hey Yolanda!” said Tommy. “Hey Tommy! You want to party?” asked Yolanda. “Not now darling. You interested in doing some movies?” asked Tommy. “Of course. As long as it's cheap and sleazy” said Yolanda. “You’re hired!” said Tommy. Tommy then escorted Yolanda back to Paramount Studios. Upon arrival, Yolanda met the head director. Suddenly, Tommy got a phone cal from Don Santino Falcone. He answered it. “Tommy” said Don Santino Falcone. “Boss” said Tommy. “Obviously you are suffering from hearing problems, so I’ll try again. Where’s the money, where’s the drugs and where’s my cut, of your new action! You are making an idiot out of me Tommy and I’m not laughing yet” said Don Santino Falcone. Don Santino Falcone then hung up. Tommy then discussed the plot outline of the new movie they were making. The Gay Governor The next day late in the afternoon, Tommy got a phone call from Adam. He mentioned he needed his help at the golf club. Adam Cartwright then hung up. With nothing else to do, Tommy decided to go to the golf club. Upon arriving, Tommy was met by Adam. “Ah, Tommy” said Adam. “Mr. Cartwright” said Tommy. “Before you I ask, I called you here for your help” said Adam. “Help?” asked Tommy. “I want to build a business complex but I don’t have planning permission. Now the local governor, David Graham is hassling me. But I’ve heard he is a gay and is having a relationship with his personal aide. I want you to take this camera, catch him in the act at his penthouse with his personal aide, develop the photos and mail them to my house. Then I bribe him to forget about my dirty deed” said Adam. Adam then gave Tommy a camera and his house address. “OK, I’ll do it” said Tommy. Tommy then left the golf club and headed over to the governor’s penthouse. In order to photograph the governor and the personal aide doing their thing, Tommy had to get onto the roof of the opposite hotel. After taking three photographs of the governor and the personal aide caught in the act, Tommy rushed to the local camera shop were here got two sets of the incriminating pictures made. While mailing one set to Adam’s house, Tommy decided to keep the other set for himself. Tommy then decided to go to the local drive-thru to get a takeaway. Collaborating With The Cubans The next day at noon, Tommy was walking down a street. Suddenly, he got a phone call from a mysterious caller. “Hello is this Mr. Tommy Valachi?” asked the mysterious caller. “Yes” said Tommy. “Well, I heard through the grapevine you are the man to come to when someone got a vermin infestation” said the mysterious caller. “Maybe” said Tommy. “Well, I’ve got a real vermin infestation. Haitians are everywhere. My name is Umberto Sinistra and I want you to meet me at Castro’s Cafe as soon as you can, because I tell you, these Haitians have gone too far this time” said the mysterious caller who called himself Umberto. The mysterious caller called Umberto then hung up. Tommy quickly hopped on a nearby motorcycle and headed over to his destination. Half an hour later, upon entering Castro’s Café in Little Havana, Tommy was approached by a muscular Cuban man who had black hair, green eyes and a black beard. The muscular Cuban man was wearing a white t-shirt and brown pants. “You Mr. Valachi?” asked the muscular Cuban man. “Who’s asking?” asked Tommy. “Umberto Sinistra is” said the muscular Cuban man. “Now what’s the plan, Umberto?” asked Tommy. “You take that Chrysler outside with my three lieutenants. Drive them to the Haitian base and help them and their men succeed in destroying it” said Umberto Sinistra. “Sounds easy. What about you?” asked Tommy. “If I’ll leave here, I’m an easy target for assassination” said Umberto. Tommy then left Castro’s Café and got into the Chrysler filled with Umberto’s three lieutenants. All three lieutenants were wearing yellow shirts, black pants and black fedora hats. They were all armed with MP9s. After being told the location of the Haitian base, Tommy set off for it. Fifteen minutes later, Tommy stopped at the entrance of the alley leading to the Haitian base. Presently, the Cubans were fighting down the alley to the entrance to the Haitian base. All the Haitians were wearing blue shirts, white pants and white caps. They were armed with Uzis. Luckily after some fierce shooting, the Cubans managed to push the Haitians into the interior of their base. As Tommy covered the three lieutenants, they planted explosives on structural parts of the building. As the Cubans made their escape, the Haitian base was destroyed. As the Cubans headed back to Little Havana, Tommy got a phone call from Umberto. “Tommy, it’s Umberto” said Umberto. “Hey, how’s the café?” asked Tommy. “Oh, wonderful. Incredible, Tommy, incredible. No wimps, Tommy, just real men and the beautiful women! Anyway, I wanted to tell you, I think, you are a full-blooded Cuban. You have proved yourself, man. You got big cojones” said Umberto. “Well thank you, Umberto. Nobody’s said that to me since I left jail. I’ll see you around” said Tommy. Umberto then hung up. Tommy then proceeded over to the local pizzeria. As he headed to the local pizzeria, Tommy got chased by a purple Honda. With some good driving skills, Tommy managed to lose it. Phil Cannon The next day early in the evening, Tommy got a phone call from Ken. “Tommy” said Ken. “Ken” said Tommy. “I just called to tell you about a friend of mine. He’s in the gunrunning business. If you ever need some firepower visit him at the junkyard. His name is Phil Cannon” said Ken. “Thanks, Ken. Before you hang up, could you purchase the Malibu, the Pole Position Club and the Print Works for me? If you need some money to purchase them, collect the earnings from all my assets” said Tommy. “OK, Tommy. I’ll do like you ask” said Ken. Ken then hung up. With nothing else to do, Tommy decided to check up on Ken’s lead. Half an hour later, Tommy drove into the junkyard. After parking his vehicle, Tommy started to look around. “Phil Cannon?” shouted Tommy. Suddenly a tall muscular Caucasian-American man who had blond hair and green eyes appeared out of a nearby trailer. The tall muscular Caucasian-American man was wearing a black t-shirt and green pants. “Are you Phil Cannon?” asked Tommy. “Yes, I am” said the tall muscular Caucasian-American man. “If you are Ken Robinson said you could fix me up with some firepower” said Tommy. “Sure thing” said Phil Cannon. Phil then showed Tommy his arsenal of weapons which ranged from assault rifles to rocket launchers. Tommy bought one gun of each type Phil had. Hit the Courier The next day late in the afternoon, Tommy visited the Print Works. Upon entering the Print Works, Tommy was met by the head printer. The head printer was a short Caucasian-American man who had grey hair and brown eyes. “Mr. Valachi? Hey. You bought the print works?” asked the head printer. “Yeah, my old man used to work on these. I used to spend the evenings with him, cleaning the rollers. I was going to follow him in his trade, but I lived a different life” said Tommy. “OK. By the way my name is Ernest Gordon” said the head printer. “I'm thinking we might print something - a newspaper, a magazine” said Tommy. “I’m sort of doing a job for your other partner. He’s making me print money. It ain't too hard. You know, I've been doing it on a small scale for years” said Ernest Gordon. “Really?” asked Tommy. “Yeah” said Ernest Gordon. Leroy entered the Print Works. “When were you planning to tell me about your counterfeiting operation?” asked Tommy. “Today in fact” said Leroy. “Sorry for interrupting but I’ve got word the courier's moving the plates from the docks today” said Ernest Gordon. “OK, the plan is we’re going to go intercept the courier, grab the plates and make our way back here” said Tommy. “Now. Depending how well this goes we may have five minutes to print the money before the counterfeit syndicate finds us or we may have all year. Either way, I want green rolling off the presses five minutes after we get back. Got it?” asked Leroy. “Don't you worry, boss. We'll be ready” said Ernest Gordon. Tommy and Leroy exited the Print Works and headed down to the docks. After killing the incoming courier’s bodyguards silently, Tommy and Leroy waited for the courier to arrive. Suddenly, a chopper descended. The courier and the pilot got out. Tommy took out the courier while Leroy dealt with the pilot. After retrieving the plates which were in a steel-reinforced briefcase, Tommy and Leroy headed back to the Print Works were they got Ernest Gordon to start making counterfeit money. Final Shootout The next day at noon, Tommy walked into his personal bar to see Ken and Leroy having a conversation. “What's going on?” asked Tommy. “Tommy! Your employers are coming from up there to fit me with some cement shoes” said Ken. “Shut up Ken and sit down. Leroy, what the hell's going on?” asked Tommy. “It's your friends up north Tommy. They're coming down to take a slice of the action” said Leroy. “They took longer than I thought. Guys, we got to make this final we got to leave no doubt that this is my operation. Mine! Ken, you get the first run of counterfeit cash and put three million in briefcases. Leroy, you get the guys together” said Tommy. An hour later, Don Santino Falcone arrived at the Valachi Estate with an army of Falcone Family mobsters who were all armed with 9mm pistols. Every Falcone Family mobster was wearing a green pinstriped suit. Tommy, Leroy and Ken met their visitors. Ken was carrying the two suitcases filled with counterfeit money which was intended for Don Santino Falcone. “Tommy! What? No big hugs for your old buddy?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “I've had fifteen years out of the loop, I'm a bit rusty on family etiquette” said Tommy. “You’re always angry, Tommy. Didn't I say your temper would get you into trouble, huh?” said Don Santino Falcone. “There's three million in the cases” said Tommy. Ken then put down the two suitcases filled with counterfeit money. “How many was it? Ten? No, eleven men. That's how you get to be called the Butcher of Brooklyn!” said Don Santino Falcone. “You sent me into the club to kill one man, ONE MAN. Inside there was more than one man” said Tommy. “Tommy, watch your tone. Anyone would think you blame me for that unfortunate set of circumstances” said Don Santino Falcone. “Just take the money” said Tommy. “You know, Tommy? I did what I could for you; I pulled strings, called in favors. I was your friend, Tommy. I hoped you'd see sense; see what's good for business. I trusted you, Tommy and you disappointed me. But at least someone in your small-time organization knows how to do business. Isn't that right, Leroy?” asked Don Santino Falcone. Tommy looked surprised. “I'm sorry Tommy. This is Miami. This is business” said Leroy. “You sold us out” said Tommy. “No. I sold YOU out, Tommy, I sold YOU out. The real cash is upstairs in the safe” said Leroy. “Tommy, what was the big plan? You think I'd just take the fake cash? Save face and run away with my tail between my legs?” asked Don Santino Falcone. “No. I just wanted to annoy you before I kill you” said Tommy. Tommy then rushed into his office and barricaded himself in. As Tommy did that, Ken went and hid. After a few seconds, Tommy got attacked by wave after wave of Falcone Family mobsters armed with 9mm pistols. After fending off the numerous attacks, Tommy jumped over his barricade and confronted the backstabber Leroy who was armed with an M16 assault rifle. After killing the backstabber Leroy and taking his M16 assault rifle, Tommy headed back into his office. He looked around the office and found a wooden box underneath the table. He opened it to reveal a rocket launcher. Tommy then exited his office to have a final showdown with his old boss, Don Santino Falcone who was armed with dual 9mm pistols. “You took fifteen years from me, sir and now I'm going to make you pay!” said Tommy. “You still don't get it do you! I OWN you, Tommy. Those fifteen years were mine to spend!” said Don Santino Falcone. Tommy aimed his rocket launcher. “SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!” shouted Tommy. Tommy then blew Don Santino Falcone up. Don Santino Falcone’s body parts were then scattered around the lobby. Ken then came out of hiding and approached Tommy. “Tommy? Oh my god, Tommy! What happened?” asked Ken. “What does it look like?” asked Tommy. “It looks like you ruined your shirt and Tommy that was a beautiful shirt! Tommy, what on earth happened?” asked Ken. “I had a disagreement with a business associate, you know how it is” said Tommy. “Tommy, I have a disagreement, I send them an angry letter. Maybe I pee in their mailbox. I don't start World War III. You know, maybe you should speak to my shrink” said Ken. “That stupid idiot, Leroy” said Tommy. “Tommy. I never liked that guy, okay? He was neurotic, insecure and self-centered. The guy was a nobody! I'm glad you took him out!” said Ken. “I don't think we're going to be getting any more heat from up north either because there isn’t no 'up north', anymore. It's all down south now” said Tommy. “Wait, does that mean what I think it means? Tommy, baby!” said Ken. “What do you think it means?” asked Tommy. “That we're in charge. I mean, that you're in charge. Oh, Tommy!” said Ken. “You know, Ken. I think this could be the beginning of a beautiful business relationship. After all, you're a conniving, backstabbing, two-bit thief and I'm a convicted psychotic killer and drug dealer” said Tommy. Ken laughed. “I know. Isn't it just beautiful?” asked Ken. Tommy and Ken then went to celebrate their victory over the Falcone Family.
