Not that it's necessarily short compared to the others, I was just having too much fun to track the time. Though I didn't enjoy that last bit, navigating through all the alien spaghetti to find Cortana, I got turned around quite a bit in there., everything else was aces. I'm ready for the online bit now. Absolutely amazing game to play through in co-op. Single Player is just dull in comparison. Still alive, lurking in the shadows. Was going to take it easy and do it on a harder level first but I really wanted to see what happened so I stuck it on Normal. As for the story: I thought the ending was perfect. I don't understand how there are so many negative views. The only bad part of the game was the part where you had to save Cortana. The gameplay sucked ass but the story made up for that part due to the fact that you got Cortana back. One of my favorite parts of the story was when you put Cortana back onto MC's memory stick thing and she says something along the lines of; "Remember, there are 2 of us in here now." I had a somewhat nostalgic flashback to the start of Halo 1 when she said something similar. Then the very last cut-scene after the credits, when MC got back into one of those pods, was perfect for me. 10/10! Just need to play through it on Legendary now on co-op... I don't think there was a game last night in the 6 hrs i played that I didn't constantly make 1st or 2nd place score wise. woot go me! I've yet to even get past level 2 of the campaign so I need to work on that. MMMS, 9 for you is pretty late for me (i think) so I might be back by then from visiting my sister. Knife Posted September 27, 2007 Share Posted September 27, 2007 We have been trying to do co-op yet we will get about half an hour into a level and it will randomly decide a player left the game, even though everyone remains online and everybody is in the lobby when it quits. This means all that work instantly goes down the pan and starting from a checkpoint doesn't register as us completing the level when we do. Me being the weakling noob that I am, I've been playing it on Easy, just got to the last level, and man the timing of some sections is a b*tch. How have your experiences been? You all don't seem to be bitching too much, but the 24 page thread about it at the Xbox forums is full of people saying that they have had numerous issues. Anywho, how much fun have you guys had using Forge? Also, have you seen any sweet/unique Forge-made map edits that you have seen while playing custom matches? The map edit is insanely awesome!
