rebel_36 Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) i assume youre using zmod [PRIM] and [sEC] can be used to tell the game which part of a vehice has the primary and which has the secondary color to make use of this you simply name the material you want to have the primary color: Materialname [PRIM] same goes for [sEC], just add it behind a material name afterwards you can define which colors can be used for your car within carcols.dat, the file is pretty self explanatory ps: incase you ARE using max, the prim and sec options are within kams script Edited September 18, 2007 by rebel_36 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

EDIT: The game is SAN ANDREAS that's fine, they're supposed to be green and pink when you do that. the color is used by the game so it can identify the materials to be changed via pay n spray. don't worry, the vehicle won't be pink/green ingame. DexX Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 In the material editor, use Kam's materials. in each material, there will be a dropdown list of predefined materials including 2 labeled "Primary" and "Secondary". Example Engine: I want do cylinder myself, but gearbox can be colored by game. But when I select that part of engine in Chassis all goes green. If I detach part then I got problem in hierarchy, How I can do that part myself? Edit: I found Gta Material. I think that is what you mean.
