I should have f*ckING known. A xbox user can't get sh*t for free....I don't even know why I expected to get something for nothing from good ole Microbucks.

Is anybody else pissed off that Resistance 2 on the PS3 is getting 60 player servers online with 8 player co-op?

I mean we actually have to pay money for Xbox Live, and it makes me really mad to hear that free multiplayer on the PS3 can get a better server with 60 players online?

Well, you get your DLC, and custom systems!

 

But I highly doubt it will be 60, it may reduce down to 40 I heard.

Insomniac hasn't said anything about reducing it to 40....I mean, they just announced that it will support 60 players and it's nothing out of the ordinary....there are games that go up to that number already on PCs.

No, back then it was free, now you have to pay monthly, like $7.

Yeah...called the Gamestop. They don't repair discs, but they do buy damaged discs like mine. The game is worth $16, but with the refurbish fee that knocks my profit down to $12. So the game will cost me $48 to re-buy.

I am not sure if you saw my post but Microsoft has a disc replacement plan...you should just fill in the form and send it to them for a replacment.

Only problem is only a hand-full of MS published games are able to be replaced, infact the list is abismal as you'll see below and doesn't include Rock Band!

Anybody played/thinking of buying 'Lost Odyssey'? My mate got it imported around a month ago, and he's let me borrow the first disc, and so far, I'm around 12hrs in (I like to look at and collect EVERYTHING), it's pretty damn engrossing and so-far a good RPG.

I tried that game, the detail in the game looks very good, but I'm not really into RPG's the only RPG that I enjoyed was "Mass Effect".

I've been meaning to check out Lost Odyssey, but I was worried I'd get bored by a turn based RPG. I'm not a big fan of those.

Has anybody gotten around to playing the new arcade game n+? It's essentially an old school puzzle game where you control a "ninja" and you have get from point a to point b without dying. You are given the opportunity to jump really high, bounce and scale walls to get to high places and if you hit one of the many small bombs placed in the level your little pixel guy explodes all over the screen. There's usually a little lever you have to hit to open the door to the end of the level. It's cool because some of the levels are brainless fun jumping and other times it's a calculated effort to get to the end without being blown to space. In the later levels there's other tricks like little bombs that follow you around the level and little cannons you have to dodge. It's play style is definitely rooted in old school 80s games in which a lot of sh*t is going on in such a small space and you have to avoid the trenches.

 

So yeah, if you don't have it I suggest you get it.

I used to play the original N+ all the time. It's a f*cking awesome game, but I don't feel like paying $8 for it.

The original one was simply called N. I definately say this is worth the $8 though, sure it plays almost exactly like it predecessor, but it has a more refined level editor, and Multiplayer! I've only played it with one other person so far, but that was alot of fun, so I can't begin to imagine what it would be like with 4 people.

N is the free version on PC, you can find a download of the most recent version here.

 

N+ is the sequel to N, The 360 version was made by Slick Entertainment with smoother gameplay, a soundtrack, and new graphical effects, and the DS/PSP versions were made by Silverbirch Studios. These two versions (360 and Handheld), apart from the name, are two seperate games. The 360 version currently retails for 800 Microsoft points.

 

In short, N=Not on 360, N+= on 360.

Just a heads up, Lost the video game is supposed to be a pile of sh*t, the graphics are poor, controls are poor and gameplay is a load of cojanas.

 

And Frontlines: Fuel of War is supposed to be amazing and the multiplayer demo does not do it justice and is a must buy.

Just bought "The Orange Box". I was never a fan of the Half-Life series. I think it has something to do with my past with PS2 or maybe first Half-Life. But I started to play Half-Life 2 and I was blown away. Love the story and I love the ending, so to say. I just started Episode 1 this morning. But my main reason for posting is: I was wondering, what is the deal with this "Episode x" business of half life? Is it just a constant production run of sequels or do they just end at 2?

The reason why they've done the episodes is to act as a filler before Half Life 3. There will only be 3 episodes, the 3rd one's due out later this year.
