Dose any one know whats going to happen when Microsoft end support for the 360? I know support is going to end in 2016 but what will Microsoft stop supporting.

 

This is all just hearsay at the minute. Seen a whole f*cking load of speculation lately as to when the 360 will be discontinued, and came across an article that quoted one of the high ranking execs at Microsoft stating that the 360 still has a couple of years left in it at the minimum. Way I see it, the 360 is still a huge business for them, and to discontinue it so early on could cost them millions tbh. For me personally, I'm not tht fussed anymore as I only tend to play single player games these days. Only game I tend to touch online is BF4, and that's every now and then.

 

Speaking of which...how f*cking stupid that they give Bad Company 2 as a free game, THEN go and remove the MP part of the game?! Truly pissed since that was one of my fave games!

I said in the above post I have betas of games that can be played on it. It can run unsigned code and homebrew.

Also being a developer kit, I could use it to make games. (I don't know how, but I could.)

Just bought a few games used for my birthday on Amazon. Got Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, and Persona 4 Arena for the 360. They won't be here until my birthday though, or maybe even after.

Quick question.

 

Just fired up the 360 today, and the picture was all jittery and jumping about the place, like the picture was solid, but a 'duplicate' of the screen was jumping around in the foreground. Restarted the console, played around with the HDMI cable, and still it continued, so decided to go to Settings and change the resolution settings to see if this fixed it, and it has done...the question is, is this something to worry about, like, is my 360 on the way out, was this just a temporary fix, or has anyone else had this happen to them and never happened again?

 

Just seems strange as never witnessed this before, and really can't afford to have my 360 breaking on me...

The period it was in production will go down as the golden age of gaming imo.

Was inevitably coming, and definitely a wise decision tbh, rather pointless to carry on producing a previous-generation console.

 

Still my 2nd most favourite and most played console in my gaming life.
