So now, I've started a second playthrough with my level 50 Shep so I can reach 60 and try out the harder difficulty. My question is, if I play this second playthrough as an asshole Renegade, does that fudge up my nice-guy character for when I start playing Mass Effect 2? I have the game, and I know sh*t carries over. Or am I misinformed?

Yeap, Renegade and Paragon points do carry over to ME2.

 

Let's say you have a full Paragon meter, then your Paragon meter in ME2 will be 1/5 full. Same goes for Renegade

Oh nevermind, but thanks for the concern, after all my so called friends, I knew them for exactly 2 weeks, where the ones back home in Libya, which I knew since kindergarten and f*cking grade 1, those are like my real brothers, we do things, we go together, bros for life mate.

It's a pretty average dungeon crawler with a fixed camera. It would probably be fun in co-op though, as there are three classes. What really turned me off was the weapon purchase/upgrade hub after the first area that had an icon which linked to the XBL marketplace where you could buy 40k gold for 80 ms points. Waiting seriously for Forza 4, a series looking to expand, but funny enough, driving games are nothing new with the advent of XB360, I'm not knocking what the Xbox can do now, but the fanboys had everyone thinking XB was worthy of the proof and praise that Sony had established with Playstation 10 years prior. Anyway, XB360's specific games almost seem to eclipse original Xbox games now, it's proving itself. What I'm saying here ties into the preview promo on XBL that I watched earlier, They talked of how Forza is looking to find new audiences, car driving fanatics who perhaps have not delved into computer or console gaming before, and those like me who became a bit jaded after a many years with driving games.

It's looking like a worthy standalone.

What's the best MP demo off XBL Marketplace? Of old and new titles? I can't believe I haven't tried Halo yet, but there is a demo for REACH so I'll give that a try too.

 

@VL, Kinect will not override normal FORZA play, it will embellish it, as I understand it, for effects like rear view mirrors, and side views done with head movements, it looks good to me in that application

Due to my own stupid messing about, I've now completed two games fully, only to get Xbox Live back and have them revert back to 0. I'd 'copied' my profile from my 360 to my external hard drive, not knowing that there was an option to actually copy, whereas I'd actually transferred all the profile/game data. Got my Live back on yesterday, and it told me my certificate for Live wasn't valid, so I had to recover my GT, only for all my GS to reset to back how it was before Live went off for me.

 

Lost all the work I did with Icarus on MW2.

 

My whole BF:BC2 data has been erased aswell. Not too bothered about this one though as I wouldn't mind replaying the game again. f*cking great game, but the ending was sh*t.

If you've been on World at War lately you'll know what I mean mate. There's people with infinite health, ammo and they fly around the map.

Even when you don't have Live (I'm presuming gold?) you still will be connected to Live just as a silver member so you get all the menus and sh*t and you can still download demos ect (stuff that's free) Did you not sign into your Gamertag when you didn't have Live or something then play the game?

Am just as confused myself.

 

For example, halfway through BC2 the other day, and I get the achievement for collecting 15 weapons, but then when I checked my achievements list, the one for collecting just one collectable weapon was missing. The same happened with the M-COMM achievement.

 

I copied all the data back onto the 360, but when I got Live back on, it totally reset my achievements list.

 

And my whole internet was switched off.

I guess the BC2 one is bugged where it doesn't pop for the first one you collect? But pops for a higher number? Never played the game myself so I couldn't honestly say.

 

Did you get a new xbox or something? I remember doing my HDD data transfer not to long ago and everything went great, except it f*cked up my LA Noire save file and basically would loop me on this one case. Needless to say I had to start from scratch.

 

As for having no internet, you should still of been logged into your actual Gamer Tag and any achievements you pop off should just end up being added to your list (once you get internet back) but it just wouldn't have a time stamp.

 

Eh, I'm still kind of dumbfounded about what the hell went on, I feel for you though that would piss me off big time.

Gets extra confusing the fact that I earned some achievements on MW2, doing the spec-ops with Icarus, then when I get my Live back, all those achievements are taken away from me aswell, and the Spec-Ops has reset itself to me only having 3 stars, yet I earned around 10 playing with Icarus.

 

It's not BC2 that's bugged, as I earned the achievements before my internet went off (collecting one weapon and Satellite Uplink), then whilst the internet was off, I earned the achievement for 15 weapons found, yet the achievement for finding 1 weapon had dissapeared.

 

Was actualy going to go complain on the Xbox forums....until it decided to wipe my gamesaves and revert me back to some time ago.

 

Guess the lesson here is to not transfer all data from the 360 to a hard drive.
