@Icarus...sorry about the short message I sent you, I absolutely hate typing messages out on the 360 though. The only reason I kept putting it on Hardened was because I knew you were new to the game, so didn't think you'd want to go on Veteran straight away, but I gotta say, you f*cking helped me alot.   Am definitely up for doing them all on veteran though.  

I just felt bad in that one mission when I was the chopper gunner (the one in daylight) and I dazed off in my own little world for a second and I noticed I was firing towards you and the message came up about watching friendly fire. I was thinking, "Boy, he must think I'm a retard."

Think I accidentally blew you up at one point, also on the same spec op mission. I just saw this figure pop up on screen, so started shooting away, only realising it was you when we failed the mission.

 

Going to have to re-do that snowmobile mission again, since I think I remember you flying straight off the cliff at the end of the mission.

 

So, even though you've done most of them already, still fancy replaying them to give me a hand at them? I suck at Veteran on my own, so could see us flying through most of the missions...up until Delta/Echo.

Man, I was having an excellent run on that mission up until the very end. I'm usually really good on that one (except when the time flags are involved, then I suck) but yeah, I really sh*t the bed last night. I did get three stars on it though when I did it myself; I had a time of 1:08.

 

I'm not sure if you blew me up in that one mission; the car did explode, but I think you shot the car and then I decided, like a moron, to take cover behind it. Y'know, burning vehicles make great cover.

 

I haven't done that many of them. I think I have 31 stars unlocked, so I have nine of them done on veteran and two done on hardened. So I still have to re-do those two we did on hardened on veteran and then the remaining twelve. I don't mind re-doing them, but like I said, don't expect miracles from me, ha.

 

Lith said Wardriving is the hardest one.

I did not realize how tough those bastards are. I saw one from far away in my sniper rifle's scope, so I shot him in the head and he fell down... then he got back up, so I put another one in his head. He fell down and got up again. After the fourth bullet to the head, he finally stayed down.

 

Talk about having a thick skull.

Oh man I hated that mission, it took me like twice on veteran, the jugs keep spawning magically behind my back, so I always kept a f*cking huge machine gun with me, so just in case he spawns, I show him who's boss.

I went lmao after recognizing that the sword thingy was a chainsaw.

Butters, did some more spec ops missions with Lithium tonight. Yeah, the Echo missions are f*cking insane on regular... that's gonna be fun trying to get that 69 star achievement.

I too played this yesterday and thought it was f*cking awesome! Pure carnage. It's a maybe on my purchase list now.

Anyway, The guy I was negotiating with to buy all my Xbox360s I had previously, he kinda left me hanging in the wind, but I do intend to sell them and getting a working PS3 tomorrow if plans go well, for only $60! My Xbox cost me more money this time around! hahaha

Was working on the campaign tonight for Modern Warfare 2 and so far, there hasn't really been any mission on veteran that has given me any real problems or made me rage quit, but tonight I was getting frustrated on the Loose Ends mission when you finish downloading the intel and have to escape. I got to the part where you have to run down the hill to the chopper while avoiding gunfire behind you and in front of you as well as mortars... holy hell, that took me about 30 tries and a near rage quit before I actually managed to get to the chopper before being killed. Talk about rough.

 

Only three more missions and I'll have finished the campaign on veteran. I also need to get 19 more stars in spec ops and I'll have all 69. Definitely not looking forward to the Echo missions; they're bad enough on regular.

Well, I know this doesn't answer your question but I tried to put a different region game and I got this message "Sorry this disc could not be played due to region formats".

 

If you are going to buy a game, make sure you don not lose the receipt.

I believe you will be only allowed to play offline as long as you're on the console that originally purchased it.

 

Don't really see why you would use GoD though as it's a rip-off compared to retail and online stores.

Guys to be honest I have never played any Fallout Game, I have seen the videos but yet they haven't been mind changing. Yet I would like to hear your opinion.

Well I was like you, never heard of it - never played it until I saw my step brother play FO3. To be fair it took me a couple tries to get into it. But after that you kind of get involved in exploring/storyline which basically wipe away the hours before you know it.

 

It depends if you like slight shooter games, exploring areas/leveling up, fighting monsters/people with kinda sh*tty weapons at first. And using your wit to get around/find quests. I personally really enjoyed it.

I'm in contact with a person buying RROD Xboxes, he says he only wants original NON-tampered ones, even if asking a low price for them at any rate. Anyone know why this is? I had them all working at one point. Initially I bought RRoDs to try repair, but the ones I have now are ones that worked for a year upon buying them and, earlier, from originally issued back in 2006, 07 they worked just fine. What's the reason to avoid them now?

So I beat Modern Warfare 2 on veteran mode tonight. I have to say it wasn't really that hard (in the sense that there was no area that was extremely insane) with the exception of the last part of Loose Ends. Having to get down at that hill with mercenaries firing at you from behind and more mercenaries firing at you from the front along with being bombarded by mortars made for some serious rage. After about forty-some attempts, I finally caught a lucky break and made it.

 

I'll probably buy Modern Warfare tomorrow. You know, work my way backwards. I also need to finish up all the special ops missions in MW2.

You know what's funny, on my first playthrough on normal it took me a sh*t load of tries to complete the last part of the Loose End mission but when attempting it on my veteran playthrough it just took two attempts.

CoD4 is harder then MW2 on veteran imo. Some bits on MW are really hard some are piss easy tbh. I've nearly finished MW on veteran for the second time.

hmm, im thinking bout moving my xbox into my room and i want to play live, but my ethernet cable isnt long enough. Luckily my uncle owes me a couple buck, and next week hes paying me. So should i get a (used) Wireless adapter, or just buy a new game, and keep it in my living room(PS the reason i want to move my xbox in my room cuz my mom is ALWAYS on the tv in the living room, and i barley get to play my xbox any more)

What kind of Xbox do you own? I take it not the new slim version? Honestly if you dont get to play on it enough and you always have that urge to play you should just say ''f*ck it'' and splash out on that wireless adapter. Honestly, it is kinda a rip off but I had mine about 3 years and I was able to use it with every 360 replacement that I got.
