Army Of Two is great for co-op, although it's a shooter.

Portal 2 is awesome too.

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men is a wonderful co-op game, although it'll probably feel dated in 2011. I've not played the sequel but it might be worth a rent as well.

I tried the demo of the sequel, not as I'd hoped. Easy to get stuck for me. Graphics were Ho-hum. I had to debate getting it for my PS3 as my first Next Gen game, but I am pretty sure I would have been disappointed.

 

Thought I'd update everyone on those Xboxes I repaired with a heat gun....

Saw this on the IGN app last night, the release of the Turtle Beach X12 gaming headset, LINK.

 

Now i own the X11's and love them, they do the job perfectly for me. But these look so cool Better then the black and white colour scheme of the X11's.

 

Thought i'd share anyway, just incase someone was maybe looking to get a headset, or even upgrade.

Genuine question, but what's the big deal about these Turtle Beach headsets? I already have a sh*tty pair of Panasonic headphones plugged in to my TV, but they were designed for sh*tty MP3 players with no bass implemented, but they do a good job when I'm playing the likes of CoD and BF. It's a genuine question though...I wouldn't mind having a decent pair of headphones for my FPS games, but need a reason to spend £25-£30 on a pair of headphones.

 

And f*ck, hate to say this, but I agree with Slam. I played abit of the original K&L some time ago, managed to get a few levels in, and really enjoyed it, but tried the demo of Dog Days, and really wasn't impressed with it at all.

For me the novelty is being more drawn into the game, the bass and volume literally drowns out any outside noise, so blocks out any bullsh*t like my mum hoovering the landing when im trying to concentrate on a game, and with no outside distractions i find myself concentrating alot more.

 

But the main reason i bought them was for online play, games like Call of Duty i found sound whoring to be a really good tactic when playing more objective type game modes like search and destroy, so when your on defence and just waiting for them to try and defuse, you can hear their footsteps and know what direction they are coming from, even if they have ninja on.

 

And if your more into online play to have a laugh with your mates, you can turn the game volume down and the chat volume up, its so clear they might aswell be sitting in the same room as you.

 

I would highly recommend them, i would be lost without mine now.

The sound quality on the turtle beaches is very high, so much so it gives you a whole new level of immersion.

 

I'm getting totally drawn in to RDR atm, I got the DX11s which are the X11s + the Earforce DSS 7.1 amplifier. It's great how you can pinpoint the direction and distance of a noise.

 

Not only that, gaming is a lot less stressful now. What's an enjoyable level of sound to me was too much for the neighbour.

 

I got them for £86 at 365games.

See, as I said, I always have to wear a pair of headphones to get immersed into a game anyway, one of the reasons being my noisy 360. The current pair of headphones are absolute sh*te, so I may have to invest in a pair of Turtle Beach ones, but I'm not paying more than £40 for something that will only get used every now and then.

Mine were only £34.99 from game mate, so if your willing to do £40 the X11's are the way to go

Then i went back on there today to actually purchase one, and apart from the Billie Jean live costume, and a little monkey everything else had been taken off, not sure why but its quite disappointing because i was hoping to get the Thriller one

 

Just thought id post in case anyone else was thinking of getting one, or even knew a reason why they might of taken them off?

Tdu 2 was/is boring for me. Gawd the characters speech is horrible.

Far cry 2 gets boring, but is an amazing free roam fps and has an incredible map maker.

Crysis 2; can't say, haven't played it

Bad company 2 was alright for me but for the price it is right now, just wait till battlefield 3
