Does anybody have Tony Hawk's American Wasteland?

 

I had to buy a crappy gold subscription and there are achievments on it for playing online on each level, but really nobody plays the game and I'd like the useless gamerpoints.

 

Help would be appreciated.

Pretty sure they still do. Every console is given one free month for 3 new profiles.

I got a Play and Charge kit the other day. Man I love that thing, now I don't need to spend loads of money on batteries.

Im pretty new to Xbox360, and I don't really have any friends on the xbox yet because Im a former ps3 user

 

Unless your ps3 broke i see no reason to convert unless your after exclusives.

In my view xbox would be perfect if stubborn microsoft put in Blu-Ray (since specs are the same)

Basically, the wires inside the cable broke, which meant that my controller would no longer charge. Any headsets or charge kits I buy for xbox always break after a few months. I even took care of my last headset, and It still broke. The mic works on it but I can't hear voice through the headset.

It's a shame though, it was good while it lasted, and any way, I'd still rather have a wired controller than one that turns its self off when I need it the most.

I doubt it. And even if they did, they'd probably PM it to you if they were nice enough. Other than that, save up for some Gold time.

I had that problem, the Lithium battery won't charge but it will still power the controller, so like you my wireless controller is getting used as a wired one.

 

It lasted a few months but those Lithium batteries are absolute sh*t.

Well, lucky me got a new 360 slim version. I love it particularly because my last console took about 20mins to juice up (disc read error).

 

So, I started playing Mass Effect 2 and Metro 2033 on a new profile called player1 or something. Now, when I do finally get my old gamertag over and my old save files, will I be able to merge player1 with my gamertag profile?

AFAIK, you can't merge gamertags. You're probably better off recovering your gamertag and worrying about the save files later.

Yup don't think you can merge gamer tags. Although I think you might be able to transfer saves (although probably wrong on that) from console to console and they might work on any GT. Only one way to find out really. There a reason why you just didn't connect your gamertag from your old xbox straight to your new one when you got it?

Must check it out. Yeah, I just wanted to play right away and didn't have a transfer cable. I'm still unsure if you can just use a USB drive to copy stuff? Thank god my anger is shared, and you know what makes me hate it more? The fact that I bought the Microsoft one over a different brand that was half the price because the guy in the shop said it would last at least 3 times as long.

Yes, it is pretty simple! I used a 2Gb memory stick and it took only a few minutes. I'm kinds freaked now though because I just finished Metro 2033 on another profile (player1 on my new slim) and I copied my Live Gamertag over and I deleted player1 profile but kept the Metro 2033 save files. Now, my Live Gamertag wont recoqnise the files there.

 

Now, my bro mentioned that it's something to do with the license and that your entitled once a year to copy saved files to use on another console or profile but its your only entitled to do it once a year to stop cheating. I'd love to have my achievements from Metro carried over

I think that's what you have to check on the Xbox.com site since I think they also transfer the ''license'' or whatever to said new console along with all of your saved files and other crap along with it.

Saying that, have you played Metro on your new console with your old GT? Maybe by a long shot if you load up a save from it it might pop all of the achievements? Other than that I think your just going to have to live without them unless the Xbox.com site does transfer those things over.
