Even if you have the wireless adapter on the back, there's 2 USB holes in the back of the 360 right? Or am I just imagining that?

Nope, there's only one USB port in the back.

Ah must of just been my imagination then. Still can't say I'd care my console looking ''ugly'' with that Wii style motion detector plugged in, can you tell I've forgotten the name of it?

Lately I keep randomly getting disconnected from Xbox Live for no reason. I'll be playing a multiplayer game and I will just get kicked off eventually. In other games, I have to sign out when I get to the main menu, and sign back in to get multiplayer to work. I have tried clearing my hard drive's cache and resetting my internet box, nothing is fixing it. any suggestions?

So can anyone help me with this, or should I post it in a new topic?

Couldn't find a Forza 3 topic, so I'm just gonna post this here.

Apparently Jalopnik has a deal with the creators over a DLC pack, which the fans voted on. These were the top fourteen voted cars.

1.) 1983 Volvo 242 Group A Homologated

2.) 1982 DeLorean DMC-12

3.) 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth

4.) 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale

5.) 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo

6.) 1971 De Tomaso Pantera

7.) 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500

8.) 1977 Saab 99 Turbo

9.) 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II

10.) 1984 BMW M635CSi

11.) 1971 AMC Javelin AMX

14.) 1986 Dodge Shelby Omni GLHS

If this is true, I'm picking up a copy as soon as my 360 is fixed.

They released a Jalopnik car pack a while ago, but I'm guessing they're going to make another one. Spectacular list of cars.

I just downloaded GTA San Andreas for 360 from the market place, felt like playing something retro tounge.gif

Anyway is there a way that i can upload a saved game onto the 360?

I just want to mess around on there really, explore the place again!

And not having to redo all the missions would be a big plus!

i have a 100% saved game for it, but how can i upload it onto the 360?

Just bought over my 360 from the UK, am living in the US now. Apparently my mums friend ordered a US power block for it since from what I gathered if I just had a US power pack it would work fine, well he ordered it about a week ago from Amazon.com and it still hasn't arrived. So my 360 is currently sitting in my suitcase waiting for it to arrive so I can see if it will work or not. Have a feeling that it wont and if it doesn't I'm going to be f*cked. I'm way to poor to even consider buying a new 360 even if they let me trade it in with all of my games. Since they have a sh*t hand in deal for cash, even with all of my games I'd only be able to afford the system. Got to love MS's email reply when I asked them about it a little while ago to ''Every Xbox you buy in a certain country will only work in the country you bought it from'' bullsh*t really, since I see 360's working perfectly fine around Europe since alot of countries are on the same power rate and things.

Got the power converter thing coming through the post, so check on that. Unfortunately I'll be using a little mini small ass TV that's probably about 10 years old so I'm presuming it wont work after reading the link posted. I guess it wont hurt to try, and if it doesn't maybe I can persuade the person I'm staying with to let me see if it works on the TV downstairs. Don't think that will be happening though. Thanks for the link.

I've also read that you can use an HDTV without problems, as long as you use the HDMI or Component cables.

While still vaguely having the 'Razor Onza' brought up in talks, does anyone have any actual details on the thing?

Like if it's getting released to the public anytime soon or what, because I couldn't find that particular info in my searching.

Just saying I would love to get that controller to work nicely with my headset, even if the extra bumper type buttons take a little getting used to (just getting used to more buttons really for me).

ARGH...I was reading on gaf yesterday and noticed that there was a CCR pack released for rockband2. So, I was kind of excited to download it and play my little plastic guitar.

I turned on the xbox and put the RB2 disk in only to discover my dvd drive took a sh*t. I have to run out and buy a new xbox today. I ordered a replacement drive from ebay, so I will have 2 working consoles at the end of all this. I'm looking forward to 'playing' with the replacement drive cool.gif

Just checked the old TV, only a yellow and white input option so that TV is out of the question. I've got all of the HDMI cables since that's what I used at home although I'm 99% sure I wont be allowed to use the TV downstairs for that. Is it possible to hook up the 360 to a PC screen or a Laptop one?

I have my 360 hooked-up to my PC screen, but it had an HDMI port so you just had to plug it in and it was all set. You can also try this: http://www.ehow.com/how_4554082_xbox-hdmi-...er-monitor.html

Blackadder.

Or you could just buy a VGA Cable that plugs straight in the back of your 360. I don't know how good the quality is compared to HDMI (probably worse) but it's still way better than my SDTV.

I have these cables, except that one grey thing on the left.

No idea what they are, or what I could use them with except my TV back home. Do you guys have stuff to hook it up to on US TV's?

I guess I could always go into a store and just tell them what the deal is and maybe they'd help me out with what I needed. Although this PC monitor is going to be thrown out soon when the laptop gets put in its place so I don't know what I'll do then. Kind of just thought about taking in my console with controllers and cables and seeing how much I'd get for it. Although I'd save my HDD. Plus I f*cked myself over with my games and left the cases back at home for more room in my suitcase.

You could use the laptop screen, I think.

Using the laptop as a screen is entirely dependant upon the connections you have to the laptop. And even then you'd need to buy another cable or an adapter.

@Rebel, those cables are component (Green, blue, and red) and composite cables (Yellow, white, and red). You'll find most TV's made in the past 10 years will have the composite connections at the very least. The component connections are higher quality, and are only for the video data (the audio would still be handled by the red and white).

In short, yes. TV's in North America will have the proper connections for those cables.

Awesome means I don't need to go into Radio Shack and ask someone to help me out. I'll try hooking it all up once I've got my converter.

The-Cornish-Cracker

I recently sold my Xbox 360 Premium to GAME in the UK in preperation to get the new Xbox 360 S when it releases next week, I used a USB memory stick to backup all of my saves and some of the content I had stored. The USB memory stick is 2GB and it formatted it for use at 1.3GB. I sold the Xbox and left the USB memory stick on my desk until now when I tried to check and see if everything was on the stick by plugging in to my housemates Xbox 360 Elite.

I went to the memory setting on the dashboard and when it select my memory stick it comes up with configure. I can't access my saves or anything even though I was copying them over to the memory stick from my old Xbox 360 hard drive and I could view the contents on the old Xbox. Is this working as intended or have I done something wrong that could have caused me to lose all of my saves for when the new Xbox comes out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, saves and game data are unique to your gamertag, so you can't access them without it. I think your best bet is to either retrieve your gamertag on your buddies Xbox, or wait until you get a new 360 and retrieve your gamertag on it.

Nothing is guaranteed though, I really have no experience in this. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you some better advice.
