Microsoft are sharks when it comes to cancelling subscriptions and stuff, if you delete your card details off the Xbox then Microsoft won't actually stop the subscription bill, they will just let it run for a few more months and then down the line suspend your account until all fees have been paid.

 

So you're just best phoning them up to cancel subscriptions.

 

Edit: Sort of misread, no they shouldn't cancel the subscription if you remove the card details, as long as the fee has been paid out of the card account.

Does your Xbox still download whatever its downloading i.e demos, game add-ons when you're playing an Xbox original? I'm not sure it does but I want confirmation on this.

 

I know that downloads will still download when playing:

• Single player games i.e not multiplayer
• Demos on the dashboard
• Games on the dashboards that are also not multiplayer e.g Battlefiled 1943
• And just leaving the Xbox on.

Can someone confirm this?

As far as I know it only works with titles that support it,

so it isn't retroactive in that respect.

 

I like the look of the new 360, but I can't give up current 360 with custom case just yet.

Maybe when there are after market cases, then maybe i'll think about it.

Or should my current 360 get a RROD then i'll move up, whichever comes first.

My mom came into the room and said "what the f*ck are you looking at!?" I reported on of them but deleted all the messages.

I'm seriousy considering trading my Arcade in to get a 360 Slim. The only thing I'm a bit worried about is maybe they might a few bugs, and issues that need to be ironed out first.

USB. The Kinect Port is a data power hybrid port. For old 360's data is through the USB port and power is through a separate external power adapter.

That's exactly why I used speech marks. I can't see why the console would look "ugly" with something plugged into the front. Infact I can't even see why that would bother anyone.

Lately I keep randomly getting disconnected from Xbox Live for no reason. I'll be playing a multiplayer game and I will just get kicked off eventually. In other games, I have to sign out when I get to the main menu, and sign back in to get multiplayer to work. I have tried clearing my hard drive's cache and resetting my internet box, nothing is fixing it. any suggestions?
