Your Xbox Live account password is your Windows Live account password, they should be the same thing.

But i registered the Windows LIVE account AFTER i registered the XBL account, and, AFAIK the WinLIVE and XBL accounts are on different eMails.

If you're using different e-mail addresses for the accounts, then there's no way to link them up. You have to use the same e-mail address if you want to use the account for both XBL and GFWL.

I really wanted to use Rocky music in Fight Night Round 4, so i got some songs from Youtube videos. Then when i put the disc in my 360 it said i had to download an update to play the MP4 files, sadly this update does not bother to give you the ability to rip MP4 files to the HDD. I'd like to know what audio file types the 360 will let me rip to the HDD and thus use as custom music in-game.

I'm buying a new Elite from Walmart. I have an older 360 from 05 or so. How do I use my old GT/profile on the new one.

You need the Windows Live account that is linked to your gamertag. Could be something like @hotmail.com or @msn.com or something. When you load up the new 360 you reload it through typing your account name and password in.

 

Or you could just put the hard drive from the old one into the new one. But I'm guessing you want the extra space in the Elite hard drive

Once you've got your new 360 up and running just choose the option to recover your gamertag, you'll then have to enter you email address and password and then once that's done it'll just basically download your profile on the new HDD.

Ah but I forgot to mention the "Recover Your Gamertag" part

 

If I remember correctly it does take a few minutes to recover. Also, I should probably mention this just incase you miss it, any achievements you've earned offline (and you have yet to relog back onto Xbox Live) will not load with the recovery. Basically, I think it transfers the achievements you've displayed on XBL over. Might be beyond f*cking annoying if you do this so I thought I'd just add that

Anuj thats the best way. Update it so you keep all your achievements and stuff you have got while you were offline. Then recover your gtag onto your new profile.

When you download it and choose to play it then you only get a certain amount of time to finish the movie off after that, i'm not to sure if it auto deletes or just simply won't play when the time has expired.

 

But i think it just stays on your HDD until you're ready to press play.

For the movie question, as Seddo said, it will stay on your console for so many days, and then once you start watching it, you have 14 hours (or more) to finish the film or whatch it as many times as you want.

Or if your lucky like my friend the first 2 films you downlaod get stuck at 24mins till expire, and they remain to be playable forever. still dont know how he managed it and neither does he. Was a standard 360.

OMFG i beat the Inferno level on Trials HD, finally got past that double ramp. Did anybody know that the 'A' button gives you a lower gear acceleration? i think that's why i finally completed the level.

 

Just that stupid Going Up level now, it's a nightmare trying to bunnyhop onto that double box, i can't do it .

Nope, as far as I know you can't change that part of your profile after you've registered.

It should get shared, I think it's only DLC that isn't shared without the use of a little exploit. You shouldn't have a problem between profiles in that situation.

As far as I know, all games (includes DLC, and GoD) are signed to your profile, and cannot be used properly on other profiles. There are some that this doesn't apply to if I remember correctly, but with most content you can't share it across multiple profiles.

I have a chance to buy a 360 off my friend and I’m wondering how (if it is actually possible) would you go about removing users on the console? Basically restoring the settings as if you were turning on the 360 for the first time?

Just go to the Memory tab of System Settings, and you should have a HDD highlighted. You press Y for Device Options and click Format. When it's done, it should be as if it was brand new.
