Gamestation??? Yak. They are Rip-offs. They bought some of my games off me for 5p.... I only noticed the next day when I checked the reciept out of boredom.

I've soon had my 360 in two years, and it's the first (RROD-common) model with the worst disc-drive. It was brand new (but as i said, still one of the first models) when i bought it and i haven't had any problems yet other than some "disc unreadable" problems. Nothing to big that i had to send it in though.

Gotta say I can't see you getting enough there. However, I wouldn't bother with a wireless adapter. They're a total rip-off, and you could most probably just buy a huge 'net cable that would reach most areas of a house for a cheaper price than you could buy an official wireless adapter.

you can always make your internet company to make the cables via the walls/make a tiny hole to put the cable trough.

Ah right, then yeah it should certainly at least put a dent in the total. I know somebody who traded their PS3 in roughly 1 year ago, and they had enough to buy a 360 (without games) without needing to put any other cash towards the console.

 

About the cable, if you can run it under the floor it's barely noticeable for the most part, but obviously it's a lot more work than just using wireless.

For $50 you can go buy an original Xbox wireless adapter, not the USB Xbox 360 wireless adapter, but the one that's more like a router that was made for the original Xbox.. At least that's what I did. It works perfectly, and it's usually around half the price. The only problem is that they are hard to find, and usually used.

You can use the composite cables supplied, and no, you don't even need the HDMI cable unless you want to use the most out of your HDTV.

 

And HDMI cables aren't expensive. I bought mine off of amazon for a mere 3 bucks.

Well I've managed to get a friend to lend me his 360 for a few days so I can see what it's like. Will I be able to play online during this time to experience this part of the gameplay like use of a 1 months trial or will I be only able to play games single player?

It depends how many profiles your friend made. If he made 3 then no, you won't get a 1 month trial.

Ahhhh help....

 

Instead of creating a new topic i'll post it here.

 

my problem being is I got a 3 for $90 deal it had GTA IV and yes it's still expensive in Australia in game shops, still at it's release date for $110 4 a new one.

 

Well anyway, that's not the problem. I picked 2 other games for the deal and I picked GRAW and F.E.A.R I usually don't buy shooters that much because not having live yet, I can do the campaign and that's it... But it was the only ones there and the other games were crap. I should of gotten Command & Conquer 3! Instead of F.E.A.R

 

Not saying F.E.A.R and GRAW were bad but they are expendable, i can trade them for other games later...

 

But the achievements play a big role, I can't get the multiplayer achievements but maybe all the single player ones...

But F.E.A.R's achievements are quite hard! And sometimes i have achievement hunt urges and yeah I don't want to trade the game because I may have completed it but haven't gotten the achievements for it yet. I am a perfectionist i guess then.

 

I'm wonderin' if I should do the trade... Or just practice hard and get the achievements so my perfectionist side of me is satisfied with the choice.

i dunno man. most people don't get EVERY achievement from EVERY game they own. i mean, it's really hard.

Exactly there's a reason they are called Achievements. Anyway if you really want to get every one then I guess you have to keep the game. Just save up money to buy a new one or trade in something else you don't need.
