Yeah, this has many times been confused with a whole new Xbox, while they're only planning to release a new Xbox 360.

Really, nobody could answer that but you. Depends if you don't want the PS3 anymore and would prefer a 360. Maybe see what games are coming out in the future for both consoles and then decide which one to keep by seeing how many games you'd buy on each console, or which games you're going to look forward to most.

Hope so? They still need to adopt BluRay, and accept it as the norm HD disc for now.

MS is a bit pig-headed as Sony are, but when I told them I owned both systems, they still thanked me for my support (via my emails about RRoD systems) And now we have Ballad of Gay Tony Ep.2!

 

I noticed a non-linked HQ version up on YouTube, on dialup it really outshines the earliest GTA4 trailers. I think the Xbox is still very much a strong contender. When it first came out, I greeted it with skeptism, I felt the PS3 should offer more, but that as the first HD machine on the block, it did naturally outshine what one could compare it to!

Slamman, they CAN'T adopt BluRay at this point, the only way I can see it is if they release another external drive option, but I don't think USB can handle the amount of data a BluRay movie needs.

I'm not sure if you'll find a new one, but I'm sure you can find a used one on eBay. Of course it's not a good idea to buy a used 360, but who knows.

I've looked on ebay. Only ones in my price range are either RROD'd or seem fishy...if ya know what I mean.

Try looking in game shops. I know I picked my 360 up from them at a used price which was a lot cheaper than the new one. You could also look at online shops, although they will no doubts be new they might be a little cheaper than in store price if you're willing to buy it.

 

 

Edit- Are you f*cking kidding me? I got Blood Money through my door this morning put it in, and its saying the game doesn't support PAL 50 and I need to change my display settings to PAL 60. I go into display and there is no PAL settings, just the other number things, and I've changed to everyone and the game still doesn't work HELP!

...How the f*ck is that useful? And to be honest you still have to put the disc in on some games since it doesn't save all of the files onto the HD.

 

Anyway, I found my way around the PAL 60 thing. Its such a pain in the ass that.

That's not true. Afaik it's the graphic unit that actually causes RRoD, and considering the fact that will be working regardless of whether the game is installed or not, I don't see how you can say that you won't have to worry.

Yeah, the Arcade game 'splosion Man/Splosion Man had a few clothes items.

 

Apparently there will be ones for MW2, which should be awesome. Being the way I am, I've already been tempted to buy the ODST clothes items, but apparently the game itself will be supporting Avatar awards, so I'd rather see the ones I can earn first.

I thought they have already started making games with the Aviator Awards in them, such as the XBL arcade games. I remember there being a dedicated little tab on the screen for arcade games that said 'Aviator games' or, do they not give you awards after completing it?

There's only one game so far that give you awards and that is 'Splosion Man and even that has not had it's pacth to award items yet.

 

The patch is ready but the creators of the game said it was up to Microsoft to decide when to release it.

Unfortunately Seddo is most probably right. Most rewards will probably just be t-shirts or something, they'll end up being forced to put the better stuff on the marketplace rather than being standard rewards.

One thing that does get on my nerves recently when i've been downloadng trial arcade games, you unlock an achievement and then a message appears on screen saying you've unlcoked an achievement buy the game now to keep it.

 

f*ck off, i'll buy the game if i like it not just becuase of an achievement.
