I think it's been improved, but there is a slight delay. But then again, I only used it once since the update and that's all. Will test it out later tonight and I'll report it back.

 

EDIT: Mini-dashboard is a lot faster and smoother.

 

EDIT 2: My XBL connection has been sucking lately. Anyone else had the same issue?

 

EDIT 3 (final edit!): I just realized that there is a few new shirts for free in the wardrobe. Maybe, I forgot or something, but anyways, there are the following items:

 

- Football Tee (another Xbox version of American Football Jersey. See my avatar.)

- Baseball Jersey (Xbox version)

- 70's Checkered Shirt

- Groovy Shirt

Wow, this is weird. Booted up my console earlier and got prompted for the update, and I haven't even been accepted into the program. Never received an e-mail and my Connect status isn't 'Accepted'. Odd, also read that it's happened to one or two other people.

 

Anyway, update is pretty cool. There are no new significant features to me, but the new achievement layout is good. The XBL numbering system is broken though, it says that I've only been a member for 1 year. Could be to do with a name change, I guess, but hopefully it's fixed when the update goes live.

I had it working on my other computer, got a new one and now forgot how to set up the IPs to get my xbox connected through my computer.

So far I have my xbox getting connection to the internet but the thing is, my computer loses internet. It doesn't disconnect, it just doesn't let me go on websites and AIM MSN YAHOO all sign out. Anything

I think I have the xbox settings wrong, which interferes with it somehow.

Yeah, that's one thing I forgot to mention. The numbering system seems messed up, as I joined Xbox Live around mid 2006-early 2007.

Actually it wasn't lag, it was just the fact the guy shot him and he was on the phone and he put his finger up to say he's busy, which makes you think that he wont take part in it. But obviously he does after he gets off the phone. I highly doubt MS would put lag into an advert since its a negative thing.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me, they are usually around the £200 mark retail.

Bearing in mind if it's new, if so that's a sweet steal. If it's used it could be dodgy, let alone getting used console from eBay. Go with whatever you want though it's your chouce, I got my elite for £220 with Fable 2 from Gamestation's online store.

I wouldn't get a used xbox off anywhere, let alone eBay. But if its new, then go for it, thats an amazing deal from looking at the convertion rate as it is.

get a new one Jacky, those things come with the elite anyway. The most important thing you`ll need is the manufacturers warranty in case you RROD.

I don't know, if it clearly states on the auction that it is indeed in working condition and that the ebay seller has good feeback for item description and things like that then you could go for it. Although, you should really check online at other places to see what the best deal is. Try Play.com or even Amazon since they usually have the cheapest deals going.

I would watch out about buying a console from eBay. Unless it's stated that it's in new condition and the seller has very good feedback. I've heard many stories about people buying consoles from eBay only to find out that they have been banned from Xbox Live (console banned, which means that you cannoy connect to Live at all using that console).

I guess you'd just have to go with you're gut at the end of the day. I've currently got my Ps2 and all of my games for sale on Ebay and as long as you write exactly what's the deal with it then you'll always get people interested hell, I've got like 8 watchers and the auction doesn't end for another 3 days. I know I'm going to put up my xbox on ebay when I have to sell it as well.

Skate 2 question. How can I do a Nollie Lazerflip 360?

Look in the tricks manual on the Skate 2 pause menu since it shows you how to do every trick listed. If you still don't get how to do it, then try just googling the trick and the game obviously, or even try youtube if you still don't understand how to do it. What usually happens is the fact that you sometimes get an inch off where you're meant to pull back/move so it ends up in another trick. But just look at the pause menu and you'll get it down after a practise.
