It really depends on what you mean by 'best' bundle. You can get the arcade but if your looking to go and download a lot of stuff from XBL market then your best bet is to just get a standard Xbox. Its 20gigs and I just looked on amazon.com for a price ( since your using $$ right? ) anyway it was about $250.

The Pro comes with a 60GB HDD i think, as opposed to the standard 20GB.

 

EDIT: .AshRemains: thats where the HDD goes, you gotta buy one first though, obviously.

The pro bundle is standard, and it's what you should get. I have that and works everything a charm.

 

edit: I didn't know they still sold the 20GB version, but I still suggest you get the 60GB version. I've used up about 25 GB of my HD already.

That's where you put the HDD. Its like a big gray thing that comes on top already with other 360's.

Filmer pack, whats that?

 

If it's something off the marketplace, then yes, you will need XBL and an internet connection.

Filmer pack basically gives you longer time to film from the game, better camera control, ect.

Guys I have a problem. Yesterday my wireless router thing in the back on my xbox was working fine and connecting me. However I go on today and its not connecting at all. The only thing Xbox keeps telling me to do is dissconect my router downstairs and put it back on and to take off my wireless adapter and put it back in again. Neither of these 2 things seem to fix the problem. What else could it be? I don't think its the fact that my mums actually using the internet on her laptop for a change since she was using it yesterday as well.

Just got around to playing the Wanted demo and lol, there's a difficulty level called 'Pussy' .

 

Wasn't to bad, nice cover system apart from the camera angle at times. Loved the curving bullet and slow down feature.

Got my hands on some spray paint the other week.

 

I've also had a knackered xbox (E74 Error, out of warranty,boo!) hanging around for a few months.

 

Combine these two factors and you get the first thing I've ever spray painted: a 360 faceplate. I had a bit of a play around seeing as the faceplate is expendable, the ring of light has been partially obstructed by some stray paint that somehow got under the tape, but that's the only real damage.

 

It's a bit shoddy, and took a few different coats to get it right, but I'm pretty pleased for a first go.

Why didn't you just take the cover off, and then spray it?

 

It does look quite nice though. If you're not in warranty, I'd suggest opening it up, taking everything out of the case, and spraying it to match.

Not sure what you mean by taking the cover off. If you mean taking the faceplte off then yeah that's what I did. My problem was with the power button and the little translucent ring around it, on the faceplate. When i taped over the thing, some paint managed to seep through my cheap tape, and thus some of the ring is a bit speckled.

 

On your other point, I have though of opening it up. Although, it's only my bust one that's out of warranty (I have a working 360 and a dead one, after the first one E74'd i bought a new one with a complete 3 year warranty from game for only a bit more than a repair woulve cost). So 'if i did open it up i would have an opportunity to try and fix the problem (if that's possible easily, I'm not a tech wiz) and to give the case a good spraying. I think I'll leave that 'til I'm off college in easter though; the faceplate monopolised a lot of my time this weekend, never mind the whole damn case.

Just a heads up. Ninja Blade demo came out today. I'm downloading it now. Tell you how it was later I guess.

 

 

Ok ive played it and although it looks Really good it is extremely repetitive. Not on par with ninja gaiden but definately rent worthy from what I've seen.

I was playing on my friend's and I thought his had RRODed. It just got a little hot though so he cut it off for a few seconds and it was fine. Aperently it happens all the time

your face plate looks nice, but i can't help but to add that if your also painted the disk tray plate and open/close button it would've completed the awesomeness factor.

 

I myself have messed around with my faceplate, and have opened up my 360 for some minor fan replacing....dunno wtf happened there.

Been thinking about painting the thing...possible further customizing it.

I knew a guy over at xboxaddict.com taht used to do faceplates. Guy named Spaceghost. Used to sell them for 40 bucks a piece.

I was going to get one with my gamertag and some other stuff on it, but I couldn't shell out 40 bucks for a faceplate.
