I need to know what I should do in this situation.

When I put the ethernet cord in the input it is REALLY loose and yes it clicked it but I can wriggle it around alot and it doesn't work unless I get it in the EXACT right position which is being pulled to the bottom right.Should I go to gamestop and see if I can get a new one and keep my hardrive or call M$ and see if they can replace it for free.

Anyone know what I should do?

Could be the ethernet cord. Yeah some duct tape fix's almost anything.

It's not the cord because it does it for every cord I have. And seriously tape? I just got this on Christmas it should be work ing.

On average, how long does it take to download a game demo? Cause I'm downloading the Conquest demo and it is taking forever! It's only on 15% and it's been like...thirty minutes!

It all depends on your connection and demo size. Good connection big demo=good speed where as Bad Connection-big demo=Bad speed.

But my connection is pretty good, i think the problem is the demo size. I dunno, I'll havta figure something out.

Why don't you leave your 360 on and just let it download? Or change the settings so that when you turn off your 360 it still downloads the demo. Honestly, for me it takes maybe an hour or a little more depending on the size of the demo.

Just take it off before you take it in.

Think of Domination meets Headquarters. Five flags, but you can only capture one at a time. And the more kills your team gets, the more momentum you have. The more momentum you have, the faster you capture.

 

I tried Hardcore S&D in WaW today. It was so f*cking cheap. When I wasn't losing 1vs1 fights due to awful bullet syncing, I was getting sprayed by a guy using a PPSh.

From what I've heard if the towel trick fixes your 360, you'll be able to repair it, but if the towel trick doesn't work, your 360 is dead.

I'm not sure if it works permanently for the RRoD problem, but when I used the towel trick for my one red light, it only fixed it for about a day then I had to do it again.

What I meant was, if the towel trick recovers your 360 (albeit temporarily) then the fix that you linked to should work.

 

But if the towel trick doesn't bring your 360 back at all, then this fix sadly won't work.

Did you overheat it after you did it?

Yes. I let it overheat for about 2 or 3 minutes, turned it off, let it cool down, then started it, and it came back with 3 red lights of doom.

Turn it on, you will most likely still have the 3 red lights.

 

If you do, leave the fan unplugged and let it run until it overheats (2 red lights). Wait a few more minutes then turn it off.

 

Let it cool for a minute then turn it on and see if it worked.

 

Not sure where you got 2-3 hours from.

 

EDIT: Unless you mean the overheating part, but without a fan attached, it shouldn't take long for it to overheat at all.

Well i got the E74 red light, can that be fixed using the towel trick?

No, because that's hardware faliure, that has to be sent back. I had that issue with my first one, there is NO fix for it.

It actually can be temp fixed with it. I did it with my first 360.

Well it can be a cable fault according to a web site I was on. Also I saw a video earlier of how to fix it yourself on youtube.

I think there's something wrong with my chargeable connector/battery pack with my control. You know how its plugged in at the front USB and you turn your 360 off and it kind of stays on to charge the control up, well it will stay on for about 3/4 seconds then suddenly decide to turn itself off, and not charge the control. I've had the USB thing in for about a week now and my control battery unit on screen still gives me 2 bars after a whole week. Whats up? Is the thing f*cked or is it just me doing something wrong?
