I'm debating whether I should get Rock Band 2 or Left 4 Dead. I really enjoyed the demo and it seems like a great but is the replay value any good?

I sometimes wish the avatars could be violent.

It would be alot more exiciting than the little wave they do and seeing as they cant be used for games yet its a shame. But while im here is there plans for a avatar game?

 

Dont say scene it or whatever its called.

Just go to the marketplace, arcade games, then avatar games. I think there are three of them and yes KoK and UNO are two of them.

I only wish that Microsoft had not inserted those Wii sounds on the 360...

 

Also, you should be able to get clothes from the games you play. SAS gear from COD4, Niko's clothes from GTAIV, a racing costume from Forza... Imagine what would be the clothing from Arkham Asylum!

@EasyTiger: I had a faulty harddrive when I first bought it, sent it in, and they sent me another one free. They said that it would include a free month of Xbox LIVE, however, and I still haven't received that free month.

I've just read that Microsoft send a free month of XBL with your repaired console, can anyone who's had theirs serviced confirm?

I got one when I got back my 360. Didn't even know they sent them out to be honest so I was happy about it being as my live had ran out.

On average, how long does it take to download a game demo? Cause I'm downloading the Conquest demo and it is taking forever! It's only on 15% and it's been like...thirty minutes!

It all depends on your connection and demo size. Good connection big demo=good speed where as Bad Connection-big demo=Bad speed.

Well, finally got around to sending my x360 in for repairs.

I need to know what I should do in this situation.

When I put the ethernet cord in the input it is REALLY loose and yes it clicked it but I can wriggle it around alot and it doesn't work unless I get it in the EXACT right position which is being pulled to the bottom right.Should I go to gamestop and see if I can get a new one and keep my hardrive or call M$ and see if they can replace it for free.

Why don't you leave your 360 on and just let it download? Or change the settings so that when you turn off your 360 it still downloads the demo. Honestly, for me it takes maybe an hour or a little more depending on the size of the demo.

I highly, highly doubt Microsoft would sell me a leaked udate from their site. I didn't get the HDD from some random site it was from xbox.com

 

Besides I asked one of my freinds and he said he had to manually get the avatar update as well.

Any demo I download takes at least 12/20 hours.

The Leaked version was actually the beta version that they released to a few people to try out. It's not as unlikely as you think. Anyway I was just bringing it up.

I think my xbox is on it's way out.

 

After anytime between 5 to 15 minutes play, the screen will become distorted, and the xbox will lock up. I cannot do anything by pressing buttons on the controller, or even turn it off by the controller, I must turn it off by the button on the console.

 

Anyone heard anything about this? It's only just started happening to me.

Could be the ethernet cord. Yeah some duct tape fix's almost anything.

yes but that only works 3 times per xbox

 

normally demos that are gold membership only go to silver in about 2 weeks

 

just be patient mate
