Is this banwave sh*t banning consoles with the leaked NXE update? I only skimmed the webpage posted.

No the article was about people with modified DVD firmware and general modded consoles and how the new update would rat out these people so MS could ban them. So only if you have a modified console and running the leaked NXE could you get banned if the story is true.

No. The only issue with downloading the NXE leak is that you can't login to Live until the 19th.

I got GoW2 like 10 mins ago. Gonna have to put down Fable II and go play it. f*ck, so many games have been released after such a sh*t winter/summer. Gonna have to get Mirror's Edge next week when I have more money. Until then, Fable II, GoW2, FarCry 2, and MCLA will have to occupy my time and that is only recent games. f*ck man.

I know, right? After a summer of going to my local Gamestop and trying to decide which game isn't as sh*tty, now I go to Gamestop and spend ten minutes looking at three different games trying to figure out which two I can't live without.

Difficult decisions, but good decisions to have.

I just can't decide which I want to play first. I think I'm going to go with World at War.

Seems like you guys don't know about Gamefly. I got Fable 2, Saint's Row 2, Fallout 3 from them. Great games, now GoW2 is on the way.

I actually think there are too many games out right now, so much so that I can't enjoy any individual game because of it. There's either too many or not enough! I feel over saturated with just SR2, Fable II and MCLA because I also want to get and play Fallout 3, Far-Cry 2, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, CODWAW, GOW2, NFS Undercover ahh the list goes on! And that's just the 360 and multi-platform games!

CoD, I can forgo. I'll wait for Infinity to come back. Dead Space looks awesome, might pick it up. I got MCLA, so Undercover might be missed.

No i've only ever had one console banned and that was around February 2007.

 

And i lost no money as i took it back to the shop we're i got it from and got an exchange as the people were to stupid to check the 360. Maybe because i had everything all bagged up in it's original green/orange bags .

I posted in the Gears 2 topic about reading somewhere mentioning that if your have a friend who has Gears 2 then the game itself sends out game invites automatically, not sure if its' true or not.

 

It is a pain in the arse when you get multiple invite sin quick succession when your not even playing Gears.

I'm sorry, but that's a really f*cking stupid idea. I've gotten two or three MTAFs saying the next person to send them a Gears 2 invite gets blocked and removed from their friendlist.

I dont have it either, but Half of my Friends list does, but ive yet to get Invites to play.

There's an invite all feature if you hit back on the in-game-guide-thing, which even invites people who're offline or don't own the game. There's so many that do though that it's just quicker to hit back than manually invite everyone.

yeah im getting loads of them starting to really piss me off, apparently if you press the back button while in lobby it will invite all your friends. I think there should be rules about this given to game companys, GOW2 is not a 100player online so you will never need to invite everyone on your friends list.

 

Plus games these days knows whos playing the same game you are like for instance left 4 dead, Wouldnt it have been a better idea to make it send invites to people who are actually playing GOW2.

Don't you have to login to your Windows Live page on the PC?, and access a menu from that home page to change your birth date.

No you can't change it there. The best thing is to have a back up profile. I put my real age when I signed up and now that I'm 18 I still can't download certain stuff. Why? Because I have to add a new credit card to upgrade my account...Crock O' sh*t

What I think is lame, is you can't change the messenger log in to a different email. I signed up under a gmail one, which isn't used for MSN and I want to change it to my MSN but nooooooo. Lame

Bought CoD WaW earlier. It's pretty decent even though IW didn't tag along for this installment. Though I've only played it for a few hours, since I've been busy recovering rather important school data from my girlfriend's unbootable laptop hard drive.

 

Girlfriend just gave me GoW2 for recovering the previously mentioned data from her hard drive.

So my friend bought a new 360, and gave me his old one. Im in the process of fixing it right now. Then this week im expecting another RRoD 360 i won off of ebay to fix. What shall i do with 3 Xbox 360's lol.

Actually me and my bro talked about painting atleast 2 of them up. Then I was going to be a nice brother and give him one for Christmas.

 

The one im going to paint for myself is going to be painted Polar White and have Pavo Purple designs on it, to match my car .

 

Im waiting on a 360 coming from Indiana with the RRoD. Im hoping its not the DVD Drive red ring, Then i'll be out 100 bucks on buying 2 DVD Drives, because the one my friend gave me has a burnt DVD Drive.

Newer Xbox 360's still have the chance to crap out on you, but the chances of that happening is far lower than it was two years ago.
