I thought the Too Human demo sucked pretty hard. There is a long list of potentially better games dropping this fall, so it's definitely on the back burner for me.

Same here. I saw RPG in the description and was pretty excited about it. Played this demo and though it was linear as f*ck, so I'll probably rent it borrow it from a friend.

I don't recall ever playing a game with you since adding you to my friendlist, and it would be kind of funny for that deathrace competition to be our first game together. Just need to find a damn charger for my headset, I'm rationing what little battery power I have left. I might have to use my old headset, which is missing the foam cover for the ear piece.

Well, I saw you on CoD4 today. We were playing but I couldn't find my damn headset. At least I showed you my "hump and dump" technique. I'll be on tomorrow at 9:00PM EST for the Death Race competition. I'll probably stay on for a few hours. Oh and by the way, you must download the Death Race Registration pic on the marketplace before 5:59AM PT August 17th.

Not sure, haven't really announced it to anyone cause for some reason only a few people know about this competition, which is good because that will give me a better chance of winning an HDTV or a year subscription, or a 120GB HDD or whatever.

Pretty neat, very faster load times, no disc read errors and no scratching/spinning noises when playing games, can't wait, i'll be able to have my TV sound on low and still hear the games sound.

 

Plus medal implementation for achievements, so they're getting a makeover.

 

I wonder how they'll send a 120Gig HDD down the line? .

The game that you'll probably notice the sound difference with the most would be Crackdown. the noise the DVD drive makes is very loud, like you said I have to turn up my T.V. I also probably wont buy an official Microsoft HDD, rather swap out the 20Gb for a 120Gb manually, screw paying $330 for an official one (An Arcade costs $349...).

 

I don't particuarly care for the medals system, It's linked to the Avatar system which again, I think is quite pointless.

 

Speaking of Crackdown, I've got one Agility Orb left somewhere in the Shai-Gen region.

Sucks, it will probably take you weeks to find that last one, i've got about 10 agility orbs left and i don't even know which City they are in, i just gave up in the end, i've still got about 100 odd hidden orbs aswell.

 

I'll have to get an un-official HDD aswell unless my Premium console dies in which case i'll just probably buy an Elite.

I'm probably gonna go buy a laptop HDD or a used 120GB for my 360, since on mine I only have 11 GB left after deleting everything when I first got it except my profile and savegames.

Microsoft said they were planning on releasing a new console in 2010 but that was a while ago and i'm not sure what their plans are at the moment as they've released a few variations of the 360.

 

If it is 2010 then Microsoft stopped making games for the first Xbox pretty so as the new one come out, it could well be 2011 but the PS2 is still going strong so Microsoft may well do what Sony done with the PS2 and keep the 360 alive longer than what they did with the first Xbox, plus Microsoft will get more money that way with two consoles out on the market.

 

But just becuase Microsoft will make another console not everyone will ditch the 360 staright away so who knows when the console will become obsolete to the player.

 

There's still plenty of life left in the 360 at the moment.

I started through The Orange Box again, from the very beginning. When I got around to Ravenholm and I thought I should go for that 'Zombie Chopper' achievement.

 

I swear to god, aside from then I picked up a new gun (which was the pulse rifle and I didn't even fire it, just switched back to the grav gun), I used the grav gun the entire time. Somewhere I thought I remembered reading that using the crowbar was okay too, just no guns.

 

I guess I was wrong? The only things I used were the grav gun and the crowbar. Does it have to be just the grav gun?

No only the Gravity Gun and nothing else. No crowbar, no grenades, no guns no nothing.

 

I went for that achievement and it was quite a pain in the arse especially near the end of the level when those alien look-a-like zombies start coming up, a nightmare as they are super f*cking fast and they can jump on top of buildings after you.

 

I was glad when i done level (it was pretty scary at times aswell ).

 

You think that's bad but just try the 'The One Free Bullet' achievement , go through the whole of episode 1 only firing 1 bullet.

I'm not fussed and will play anything at all. I'm still getting a feel for it again at the minute. Went 16-2 earlier. Just so happened I unlocked the Team MVP challenge with the XP I earned in said round which pissed me off a little ha.

I mostly just play hardcore S&D, and sometimes hardcore TD or Domination. They really need to make a hardcore Domination mode, that would be the f*cking bomb.

 

Also, I just got out of a really long Michael Myers marathon with some friends. I love playing MM. It's just hard to find enough people to play. Now, if I could find a new charger for my headset, I'd be all set. But for half the match, I had to send a message to Spraynard on MSN, and then he would tell everyone else what I said.

 

@BloodStream: I decided not to partake in the race. I figured it would be GTA Race, and I can't stand GTA Race. I do occasionally play in normal races, though.
