PapyGangsta
Hi. I've been using GGM (Gtagarage Manager) for like 2 weeks (yeah I'm new to Gta SA Modding) and I was thinking it was a great tool but the fact is I've just discovered in my temp files (\Documents and Settings\win_user\Local Settings\Temp\) those 2 suspicious files : STFU.BMP NOOB.BMP with those names it raised my interest very quickly so I tried to check them.. Anti-viruses can't find anything, they aren't bmp files obviously (tried with ACDSee and Photoshop), and no matter what I tried to find what was behind I couldn't. (I even was thinking about steganography but it's almost impossible to decrypt..they aren't pictures anyway so this makes no sense) That said. I deleted them and after a reboot I've let the temp folder opened trying to find what was creating them. There we go... GTAGarage Manager*.. Each time you launch it, those files are created, for each vehicle you're choosing to display, they're re-created. My current opinion is they're just used to store vehicules data temporarily and aint harmful, but the fact is when you close GGM .. they're not deleted and stay in Temp...kinda dubious. Not mentionning file names are a bit inappropriate..and why the hell using BMP extension.. why not tmp for instances if those are just temp files.. Is it to hide something? I'd like to read your opinions about this. Thanks * downloaded on the official site.
