Most insanely memorable characters

now, i'm not talking characters you like, i mean like, you see the actor in another movie, and your first thought is of that character they played.

for me, there is:

Alan Tudyk, i just watched knocked up, and the first thing that popped into my head was "why isn't he talking like a pirate" because of his roll as pirate steve in dodgeball.

Christan bale, the first time i saw him in a batman beings trailer, my first thought was "HOLY sh*t, PATRICK BATEMAN IS BATMAN!" because of his role in american psycho

Haha, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought that. My first thought was of that scene where he's running around wearing nothing (besides blood and sneakers) with a chainsaw.

I know I do that all the time, but I can't think of any others offhand.

My brother alays does that. He always asks "Is that Patrick Bateman" and I have to keep reminding him that his name is Christian Bale.

I will forever think of James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano.

My choice would be Clint Eastwood. No matter what movie I see him in he'll be The Man with No Name or Harry Callahan.

Its hard to think of him as anyone else besides this.....

Neil Morrissey as Tony Smart on BBC sitcom Bob The Builder Men Behaving Badly. A blithering idiot he is.

I'll get on the Christian Bale/Patrick Bateman train as well - great role for him. One of my favorite films.

How about Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter?

Or Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone?

And all you guys are wrong. The best Ace Ventura scene period is the "Monopoly Guy" scene, I must've rewinded this at least 15 times.

Best line:

Courtney Cox - "You really love animals..."

Ace - "If it gets cold enough."

yeah , that was really funny ...check the best bits on the previous page on one of my previous posts

gosh , didnt think ace ventura would have such a following when i posted the pic of ace biggrin.gif

really started something off!...

Then why do I remember that scene...

If you would have noticed, there is a TBS logo in the corner of the screen. It was only added into the TV version.
