I have a problem and if someone resolves it He would be very kind. I don't know how to change the name of the inside .IFP files. I think that it is possible using the IFP Suite by @AK-73. I have already posted the problem here. Could someone help me? The download is available here (climb/go down).

Don't worry! I have resolved this problem with the Hex Workshop 3.12.

Thanks everybody for your thanks. Climb down animation soon.

i add it on my main.scm and its work great but i dont understand why it not good work in the cleo library(in the .cs file) but when i put it to the .cs file i cant move the player and move the camera and do nothing only exit the game(maybe but this is the external script??) but in the main.scm its work great.

 

but i dont understand what to do with this ifp ladder?? ,maybe i must put it in the gta3.img and define in your script??

Hi, it is a new version with new .ifp file without replace the original jump animations.

This is really possible. the problem is that the .cols of the trees are too bad. Perhaps the trees created by BeeswaX are very good and the animations will work correctly.

I think that it works only creating an external script because there is an opcode that run a new script when the player is near the model with various distance. Now with new update put the .ifp file in gta3.img and please delete the quote tag in your post. Bye.

I would actually like to see all in-game ladders climbable...

Requires coords for each and a trigger location (bottom/top) to make your script execute when CJ is within 1-2 meters of them. I am going to try your new version now... biggrin.gif I hope you changed the keypresses to just UP/DOWN... UP when at bottom of ladder, DOWN when at top of ladder.

Its only can put to game in the main.scm external script;)

 

Or maybe when the cleo have some update in future and than its can be some script like external script in main.scm;)

Yes in the cleo it dont work correctly and it be great when you can get down in ladder.

Don't try with CLEO library or the game probably crashes. Some times ago I have tried to create another script inside that existing but I have a problem with the second ladder model (dyn_ladder_2). The coordinates don't work very well because the model is centered badly and the point of origin is found more under. I don't know how to explain it very well in English. However I'm always planning the same mod in different way and more realistic. I don't know if I will succeed to do it but the main point is to try.

Yes please try. smile.gif I guess CJ moving down the ladder is not finished yet? (he only moves up right now) I think if you code "perform anim in radius of X" for all ladders that are already in-game (like near docks etc), you can avoid having to add ladder objects entirely. But I don't know how your anim will look, maybe requires adjustments?

I'm sorry cuvip! Now I don't have much time to do it. However I think that I continue the project and improve it in Biohazard Alert mod but I can't modify the original files and create new ladders in some others places.

You don't have to recode or reanimate unless you want to because I wrote a script that lets CJ climb EVERY exterior ladder and it uses your animations. May I please have permission to include it in the Back to Reality mod?
