Please do not discuss the locations of the bonus objects in too much detail. It might spoil the pleasure for people who find to find them theirself, and also in the Dutch Contests, all objects have not been found yet, any many of the players there, also read this forum.

That's why I've worded it as carefully as possible.

I wouldn't like it if someone spoiled the locations of the pickups for me either.

I know that you did that,

but I wanted to prevent that others reacted to that with too much detail.

 

Mixolydian must seriously have way too much time on his hands, he found about 6 of them.

I'm just lucky this started on a weekend when I had no particular plans or else I wouldn't have had time to find anything. And two of the items went very quickly because of a couple of good guesses.

 

On another front...how about that crack den? That thing is crazy now!

Hey, isnt it possible to open your scm and look up for the locations? biggrin.gif Just a thought, I wouldnt do it anyway.

As steavor already said, that's impossible. We've taken som precautions to prevent that.

 

@Mixolydian: if you mean Big Smoke's place from "end of the line", that'll be fixed in the update.

 

@BigBoy: The floating Mothersships has been reported before.. no idea yet on that one. ( One shouldn't name a camper "mothership", you can expect this kinda weird stuff tounge.gif )

The ambulances: that's weird, no idea there yet smile.gif

As reported all bonus items have been found, so no more poits will we awarded.

 

 

If anyone find anymore glitches, please post them, so that we can try to solve them in the bug-fix update.

Get to it, there are still lots of points to be earned in round 1.

 

 

At the moment we have 35 Players, and only 11 players completed the round.

So the next player to complete round 1 still gets 24 points smile.gif

so do you mean that you get points on how fast you completed the mission after the entry code was given and not on how fast you completed the mission in the game?

indeed. because otherwise we can find all the vehicles thn start a new game and collect them all in 3 minutes.

Round 1 is almost done, and in an hour round two will start.

As you're probably aware, some flaws in the software were found during round 1.

We decided to create a bugfix release so that these problems shouldn't bother us again.

 

The following major issues were solved:

  • savefile prompt not available. This will now happen, and a savefile will therefor also be needed for submission in the following rounds.
  • non-solid interiors were not locked
  • hunger
  • wanted-levels
The new software is available here

The install uses the procedure described in the first post again, only this time remove the existing MPACK folder before copying the one from the zip-archive.

 

The access-code for round 2 will be posted in the topic in about an hour.

oh crap, can't you slight down the time when round 3 starts?

I got school tomorrow, so i can't spend the whole night in looking for things... wow.gif

We realize that the time is not optimal, but the contests is being conducten at the Dutch forums as well, with about the same amount of players. So we have to keep the start-times in sync.

This is the start of round 2 of GTA Treasurehunt.

 

We hope all players have installed the new software as announced in this topic and in PM.

 

This round you will have three objectives.

1) find 5 bags of money in the town of palomino

2) find 8 stacks of money in the LS police station, but you wil only have 60 seconds to do so.

3) Find 5 bags of money in Area 69

 

The Acces-code for round 2 is
