lurchseesu420
I hate Explorers. Had a few friends die in one a few months back. Roof caved in and Smushed the one in passenger seat like a bug. That happened to a friend driving a GMC Sierra, except he wasn't wearing his seatbelt and was thrown out of the cab. He lived. The wreck was a bit odd. Neither of my friends was wearing a seatbelt. Apparently they drove off a bank and the passanger side cliped a tree at a weird angle caving in the passanger side. It was a bit weird how mangled one side was and how straight the driver side was. Needless to say the driver's body was in fairly good condition and had an open casket but the passanger was closed.
stretch.
Ouchies, thankfully my first cars are going to be just that, cars. After passing I'm gonna be in a Punto and Focus, so all good. Did reverse paralell parking, so easy, don't even need the accellerator, just decent clutch control As for the auto vs. manual debate, I'm learning in a manual, and I have no qualms in it, I don't think I'd be able to live with an automatic, what with liking to have control of gear changes, either to be anal about fuel consumption or downshifting into higher revs for a little race. In another note, my brother pwned a few 2.0+ diesels in our 1.6 focus , one of which was a 2 litre A4 tdi. Some asshats just don't know how to floor it, whereas my driving instructor tells me to quite often. Aiming for a pass by feb
BCspeed34
I just got my permit last month, in drivers ed I learned how to drive in an automatic Ford Contour and at home I either have a Ford Explorer, Chevy Astro, or Ford F150 to drive, all are sh*t except the Explorer The Astro needs an alignment so your constantly swerving on the road, and the F150 doesnt idle it just stalls. I would like to learn how to drive a stick but when I get a car i'll probably stick with an automatic. Im still a beginner so im not doing all those burnouts and what-not, Im still getting used to driving with one hand, I can do it but after a while i start swerving in my lane and I need to drive with 2 hands to straighten out. I havent done anything dangerous other than when I took a turn going 20 in my moms Explorer, I never been more scared in my life it looked like it was gonna flip Wow are they that top heavy and handle that badly. I hate Explorers. Had a few friends die in one a few months back. Roof caved in and Smushed the one in passenger seat like a bug. Had to cut the A pillar of to get to him. The drivers side was fine but he snapped his neck on impact. So needless to say I'm not a big fan of Explorers. Ours caught on fire randomly one night from an electrical short. It was going to be my daily driver. ________________________________________ 専車SODO-MOTO International Vehicle Importers

*gta star*
I'm having a driving lesson next Wednesday at 8pm, booking another 5, during that time I'll ask for my theory to be booked. Some of the questions on the theory are tricky though because sometimes you can only mark one answer, but maybe two seem correct.

-slash
It's funny seeing people say that they're going to attempt 3 point turns, etc. soon like it's a huge task to have to do, and me thinking nothing of it these days, but I can remember when I was learning to drive and how it most certainly was a huge task. stretch.
3 point turns are so easy I don't even have to use the accellerator As is reverse parellell park, as with anything to do with driving you just have to keep a level head on yourself. And I haven't gotten my licence yet, but I will have by feb, I guarentee it
cold fusion 33
Oh that sort of parallel parking! I thought you meant going forwards really fast doing a handbrake and parking between two objects!

*gta star*
Make sure you do plenty of revision for the theory because it's much trickier than the 'old' theory.

Algonquin Assassin
Both of my cars have been manuals, and the majority of cars I've driven have been manuals. I had about 5 lessons when getting my licence, and I got it first go. I done the best Parrallel park on the test day, but I could never replicate it. lol

*gta star*
Lol, it was a great lesson actually. Didn't have a driving lesson in 8 weeks, and I still remembered everything. The reason why I didn't have lessons is because I was so busy with College and work, and didn't feel like it to be honest with you. Anyway, got another on Saturday morning at 11am. Oh, if anyone has done the 'new' theory (50 questions), when you book it, do they send you a book to study?
