From 1962 to 2007, the James Bond movies have made a huge impact on audiences around the world. Now, using one of todays biggest games, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, we are in the planning and early development stages of a fantastic 007 mod. Planned Features include:

 

Weapons can be found in the boot (trunk) of all Q-Branch Vehicles

Can add or remove silencer on Walther PPK

Atache Case with Hidden Knife and Sniper Rifle

Credit Card with an electronic ability to open locks.

SNOOPER - A small, animal-like remote controlled camera unit that can transmit audio/video from the head of the unit to a receptacle for the signal. It was used as demonstration near the beginning of the movie and at the end to find Bond.

Attaché case that Contains a false bottom which conceals a high explosive bomb.

Philips Keychain that Contains capsule of stun gas and a lockpick

Dentonite Toothpaste - The receiver that picks up the signal from Bond to blow the explosives is disguised as a packet of cigarettes

Pen Grenade

Digital Binoculars

Wheelchair and Leg Cast missile

Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone with a stun gun, a fingerprint scanner/analyzer/transmitter used to open fingerprint locks and a remote control for operating the BMW 750iL

Glass-Shattering Ring

Seiko Wristwatch - Contains a remote detonator and explosive charge and fuse contained inside the back compartment

Omega Seamaster Pro Wristwatch - remote detonator

Wristwatch - Contains a Grappling hook with fifty feet of high-tensile micro-filament

This is going to be good but i'm a little worried. Quite a lot of those things are either impossible or really hard.... for example the revolving plates, machine guns, submarine mode etc. on the cars. SA can't do all that stuff, and if it can it would require serious coding. So you may need to get a good coder with lots of experience on your team to see if its possible. Also with all that coding, modeling etc. it will take possibly 1 or 2 years maybe even 3 years before you get it all completed and by that time San Andreas might be pretty much, history. But only time will tell if you can do all of that stuff. Well, good luck with this. icon14.gif

Revolving plates is easy. simple model reload with a different extra. same for guns and other things. code for actually being able to shoot the guns is easy. Sub mode should be fairly simple. i have a really good coder who can do all this stuff.

nice idea, i dont know about others, but im really bored of seeing nothing but gangsta rapper mods for san andreas, so this is a welcome change.

I am a huge Bond fan and I am absolutely loving this mod. I just saw the video and it is so f*cking awesome.

 

My only complaints are:

 

1) The DB5, in my opinion, should be a little more grayer.

 

2) Are you currently working on the player models?

i have not yet worked on car colours and just used what came with it. dont worry, by the first alpha release, car colours will be as screen accurate as i can get them.

 

character models are not currently being worked on as i have no character modeler. i am still looking for one and will hopefully find one soon.

Your work so far is absolutely awesome. Have you included the mod of the AM Vanquish with the machine guns? I saw it on YouTube...

no, that was done using barton waterduck's multimod. im doing it a different way.

 

that uses guns already in the game and just puts them on the front of the car. im adding the guns to the cars as extras, so when the guns are activated, the car will re-spawn with the required extra, as seen with the convertible top on the Z3. that way, the guns can look screen accurate, and be in the right position.

Alright then. Sounds great. I'm kinda lost on how exactly you are doing this, but the final project is what matters.

 

I don't even mod (or even have SA on PC at that), but I am sure to check in and see your progress.

Just watched your first video and the trick with the grenade from the boot made me laugh!!! Keep it up, this looks good!
