When you put MacMillan down you have less than a minute until the enemy closes in on the area. Put calymores/C4 on or next to the abandoned cars scattered in front of the ferris wheel. Some will go off in the cross fire but most you can set to blow when the enemy are near. Make use of your flash bangs and grenades too. As for position I stood on the wooden step in front of the ferris wheel, before the area where you would get in/on the ride.

My highest kill streak was 18 on a mounted machine gun, the people I killed were dumb enough to come back again and get killed.

On pipeline in the tunnels I took the bomb in Sabatoge and crawled behind the pipes. Managed 33 kills before running out of ammo. Kill whoring, yes. Funny. Yes. Sometimes it's fun just to f*ck around with people.

How the hell do you do that? My little step-brother can do it, and he tried to explain to me but I can't do it. Kind of like, jump and crouch at the same time?

It's a hard glitch, takes lots of practice. Definitely worth it though, especially if you play on Hardcore and Oldschool (no killcams).

Best way to explain it is to show you in person, since that can't be done....

 

On youtube type search for call of duty glitches and then go to Pipeline, almost every video on there shows the tunnel glitch.

 

I still think my number one glitch is on Backlot...I whore that spot almost daily playing old school free for all.

Umm, What kind of replies do you want? If you want really good screenshots from a console, try and a get a TV Capture Card or whatever they're called. Your images are not the best I've seen from CoD4.

 

In other news, I done the Pipeline pipe glitch, but it got boring. No one came through the tunnels. Maybe on Hardcore later.

I completed the game on regular yesterday, decided to start off easy as it's my first FPS in ages. Ending was a bit shocking seen as it came in the middle of a massive fire fight and I was sad to see Gaz & Cpt. Price die, they were quite funny throughout the game.

The PS3 Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack is taking longer than expected, Infinity Ward has said, but is well on it's way to moving through Sony certification.

Yeah and I find you're exposed too much of the time, but maybe it's just me... I much prefer Overgrown to it.

 

My favourite out of all of them has to be Broadcast, though. It's good for sniping and short-range assault.

I would assume that since it was mentioned they will eventually get to PC. If they weren't coming at some point, I don't think they even would of mentioned it.

 

I'm really disappointed at the timing of these maps, if they are released on the 23rd I would only play them for a short time until GTAIV comes out. But then again, I love MP and I don't think GTAIV MP is going to be worth a damn, so I might need to get my fix of online gaming from COD. It's not like I'm bored with it, so GTAIV will only take away some of time.

I’m working my way through the headshot challenges for the weapons in the assault rifle category in the quest to get my bling styled gold AK-47 but there is one gun I know will hold up getting that reward. The MP44, the gun with no attachments and only headshot count. Any tips when using this gun?

Screw paying for 3 maps (4, but Killzone or whatever reminds me of the ball pin in the McDonalds playground. It's fun for 2 minutes.). I may consider it if it's free.

 

I'm having a fun enough time with the original maps, and there's still a healthy amount of peope playing them. Hell, I totally forgot new maps were out.

Holy sh*t. I just got this game, and it is so awesome. The bit on the first mission when you are running down the ship, and there is water everywhere. And the camera is tilted. And the multiplayer is AWESOME, I just love when you get to see how they killed you. I just laugh, cause I always stand around like an idiot. BEST game ever.

Turned on my PS3 today and loaded up COD4 for some online matches and was told of a new updated (1.30) so I installed it to find out what was on it and it seems to be new options for levels using the new maps. It says you can get them from the PS store but having searched there it seems they haven’t been put on yet.

I saw that too. Some knob last night told me they would be out in the early A.M. hours tomorrow (Friday). Who knows...maybe today?

Edit - The maps are in the store! £6.99 for all 4, bargain. I'm getting them shortly.
