heh it's cool that you're doing so well at the moment G MONEY, perhaps you just have the right gamesense for this sort of game.

 

I've been playing some of it at home, but having to play on cracked servers until I get my own copy like I mentioned before. Got upto rank 32 so far.. Loving the M4 with grenade launcher, double tap and deep impact.. Though the ammo goes LOLBYE.

 

I also figured out a way to transfer your mpdata (ie ranks etc) to or from another person.

Ultimatum - The bit I'm stuck on with tunnels in War Room

Deep and Hard - I could play it on hardened and beat The War Room level to ge it but I need it on Veteran so no point.

Mile High Club - Not attempted yet as I get wasted on regular.

Damn that Mile High Club on veteran was hard. But I finally did it. What an awesome single player, shame it wasn't longer and shame that Price, Griggs and Gaz died.

That was f*cking major sh*t.

 

I would have prefered it if your character died and at least one of the 3 survived to pop them all in a special cutscene.

Yeah.

 

Kinda sucked that Griggs died trying to save you and then Price saved you with his final act. Gaz was just all kinds of awesome.

What was Gaz's role actually? All the other guys had like SSgt. Griggs, Captain Price and then it was just Gaz.

 

Level 14 in 1 1/2 hours. Awesome.

It helps alot coming from the Beta and knowing the M16 owns everyone, seriously, I'd take that over any other of the Assault weapons any day.

Heh, yeah...well it does seem like I get into the "zone" a lot of the time when I play this game. I'm just ultra-focussed...aka I don't blink and my eyes start to bleed.

I JUST beat Mile High Club on Veteran!!!!

I feel so happy

 

Tip: Always move up because if you wait behind cover the enemies will respawn. If you throw flash, shoot the enemies and move up than let your guys take out the rest

 

Here's my strategy

 

1. Start Running ahead and enter the room on your left. Forget about the guy in the bathroom (most of the time your guys will get him but sometimes he may injure you badley).

2. Shoot the guy at the end of the room and throw a flash. Than run past the men and shoot the guys at the end.

3. You should be at 47 - 48 seconds. Go to your left of the 2nd room and hide behind the seats and throw a flash and shoot the men. Then sprint and hide behind the seats. Substitute an enemy gun for the pistol and shoot the guys or let your men do it. Make sure your 2nd gun is reloaded

4. You should be 30 seconds or above. Go up the stairs to the right. Shoot the guy at the end with your 2nd gun and than throw a flash. Move behind the seats and look through the right doorway and shoot any guys coming towards you. Reload your first gun and enter the other room. You're ok if it's above 10 seconds at this point. Throw a flash quickly at the end of the little hallway (throw 2 if you have).

5. Sprint down the hallway and shoot the guys in the little room on the left coming your way. Enter the room and sprint to the door.

6. When you get close to the door you get to the hostage part. You have 4 seconds to shoot the enemy. DON'T MISS or you'll have to restart. This happened to me once. Kill the enemy holding the hostage and wait for your men to open the door and then jump out.

 

You have completed Mile High Club on Veteran

Those arent the ranks.

 

They are the ranks on the charlie oscar delta site.

 

But I guess still correct, but they are just marine ranks.

 

On top of that I think theres 3 other ranks, one with 5 stars, a prestige which most people have like colonel but with gold around it, and then another one thats slightly different. I have a feeling you can still keep your unlocked things when you do that, if you can ill probably do it.

Tip for The Bog level: Everyone seems to forget the bus right in the middle of the level, I was crouched down in the bus behind a seat and was sniping everyone. I got to 8 kills before I ran out of ammo and had to go rambo. Its hard to notice people in it since everyone runs past or just doesn't look inside. Great spot.

Hey could someone with the PC version take some top-down pictures of maps. I'd like to have some actual maps of the multiplayer maps for reference/memorization. I suppose it might take some modding tools or something like that, but if it's possible I'd really appreciate it.

Now go try it on Veteran. Also online it's pretty damn good when you get in to it. Bit harsh coming out with "This game is sh*t". It was beautiful, with a gripping story line and some damn fun, levels. However Veteran ain't too fun it's hard work.

COD4 isn't as hard on veteran as COD2 was

but the single player is fun and well developed (especially arcade mode)

I just wish there were more american missions

 

But multiplayer is addicting

but the servers have problems sometimes. Today i couldn't get into a game so i just did single player and private matches with friends. The lobby kept freezing up and when it stopped it freezed in 2 more seconds.

1. You must be on crack or something because the graphics in this game are awesome

2. The story is good but they don't explain it well in the game, you have to read it somewhere else to get it, that's how i knew what the story was about before i got the game.

3. Multiplayer is FUN and Addicting but i agree with you, most of the maps suck. The only ones i like are Vacant, Crash, Crossfire, District, Ambush and Bloc (it's ok)

4. That was the best move you ever made. Halo 3 sucks compared to this but Halo was still fun online (when you got into the match you wanted. I always wanted to get into a Regular Big Team Slayer and Sandtrap game but i rarely got that)
