What I am really curious about is how the games you join are going to work if not everyone has the maps? Like is one person out of 12 doesn't have the maps-add on does that mean you'll never get to play on the new maps?

 

I just don't see how an expansion pack will work unless with the expansion comes an upgrade that seperates the people who have the new maps from the ones who don't.

 

Anyone have any inside on this?

Well you reach level 55 then fill up the bar, then you get it. Prestige is alright but it seems stupid after you do it.

Wow you can get to level 43 in 1 game, thats amazing it took me just over 70,000 XP points to reach level 43 and the most i ever got was 1,700 xp in a game with 18 kills-0 deaths on search and destroy on the bog. Pity i wasnt on my gamertag when i did it, i was at my cousins

Also, I have a question to bring up.

Is CoD4 linked in any way with the film Behind-Enemy-Lines. It's just that I saw the film on TV last weekend, and there is a character dressed and looks exactly the same as Zakhaev's Son. With the blue sports jumper on, carrying a gun, short hair and caucasion skin.

 

I thought it was very peculiar.

I read on Kotaku the maps will be here on the 10th. Not sure how accurate it is as I'm out of the COD4 loop these days. I also reached level 55 pretty sharpish but I much prefer my weapons to entering prestige.

The guy that runs that website works for Infinity Ward, I forgot what he does. Some kind of spokesperson I think. He says it is just a rumor that the map pack was delayed until the 10th, and the official page is wrong.

 

He says it should be out tonight or early tomorrow.

I just got my own PS3 and COD4, what a awesome game.

 

Online play was a blast too, I got up few ranks but I was playing against 30-40+ ranks.

So they should be up around an hour from now. This should keep me occupied until gta lands on my doorstep. Do the ps3 boys have to pay for them to??? I know next to nothing about the ps3 network.

 

edit: Just turned on the game and there was an update and now a link to dl the maps but it just says more info and nothing happens so idk. Hopefully it will work soon.

It started freezing last night when i was playing so i figured i'd just play today and i see the maps are out and it freezes as they're loading and i look over and i see three red lights. So i figured i'd unplug all the cords and see if the power cords are in right and i turn it on and four lights. Anyone got any tips or last ideas to see if it can still work?

Creek is f*cking ace! Chinatown is confusing. The tv station is okay better playing S&D. Killzone or w/e its called I haven't played yet in the hopper so I'll have to private match that one.

Agreed. Creek and Broadcast are the only maps I like, and I have yet to play on Killhouse.
