f*cking Amazing that Gamespot still didn't reviewed Game

I am still undecided as to whether I should get this, or get Assassin's Creed first. I'll probably go with AC because I'm more pumped about playing it, but I have a feeling I will own both before Christmas is here.

It completely slipped off my radar that this game comes out in a couple of days. I'm still getting it, but I'll probably add it to my Christmas list. This game looks really solid and we all now the team behind Call of Duty haven't butchered the series yet, so this only means more great installments of the series - or at least for now. I'm just glad they finally dropped that stupid World War II trend. Man... was that overkill or what?

No company has ever made a game as bloody and intense as the real war. The companies are afraid to add all the realistic gore and they never create a good story. If they ever made a game like Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers than that would be one great world war 2 game.

People are just over World War II games man regardless. They're f*cking boring.

 

I've pretty much blown mutiple loads over watching videos of this game so hence I will be installing windows on this imac of mine and hoping all goes well.

I don't know why you'd have reason to expect a different day. If one place gets it, every place should get it.

Yeah but sometimes the delivery days are a pain in the arse, sometimes i get the games a day or two early and other times i get games about a week later ( Vice City Stories and The Orange Box), it doesn't halve get on your nerves when you wake up and expect it to be there and then you find out it'not been delivered.

Yeah sometimes there's little stupid sh*t like arrival ends up being a day late and the likes. I "reserved" a copy of Gears of War [at Fry's] a few days after it released, and it took 2 weeks for their stock to be replenished. I still say expect delays. I mean, we are talking about Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare after all.

Totally man, GAME are a complete bitch when it comes to that.

 

All times before there was a system, you pay for postage you get it on the wednesday before the friday release, if you pick free postage you get it the thursday before the friday release.

 

Now I have no clue. Stranglehold came on the thursday, but skate came on the friday, and at like 2pm, which was super lame. Even worse when the last time I payed for postage, it came on the thursday, but not only did they come at 4pm they didnt put it through the letterbox, and I had to drive all the way into this ghetto to the station just to pick it up, and even then they had the f*cking cheek to ask for my signature when I clearly had the form.

 

I paid £5 to go through all that hastle and get it on a f*cking sunday. And they had a sticker on the packet saying guarenteed by 1pm, and they brought it at 4pm. I should have sent a complaint, or a mailbomb.

 

 

 

I just hope to god it comes unharmed onto my doorstep on the thursday, but I can handle the friday, anything else I will revolt.

Just looked at my emails now and i have one from play.com who have said my order has been posted. Although it does say allow 3-5 days for delivery, so hopefully it should be here Friday morning hopefully.

Don't mind the page stretch here... If you decide to play singleplayer, sit through the credits (or walk away, whatever, just let them scroll) and play the epilogue mission. Its the 1 mile crew

Was hoping that it would come today, but alas! I am still without CoD4. Going to get it tomorrow, I'll be playing SP on veteran/hardcore/whatever until my interwebs are fixed.

Yes... it's true... i played it on xbox 360, now that's what i call full of action, too bad it's too short.

Well if your not happy with a 6 hour game life than stop playing it on the regular difficulty and get your arses on veteran, let me see you complete it in 6 hours then.

 

Anyway my game come today and i must say it's f*cking awesome, the graphics are ace and the sound is top notch, loving the echo of the bullets when your in enclosed areas. Not tried online yet as i've been emerged in single player but i'll give it a go tomorrow.

Got the game today aswell. Play.com ftw! They always deliver early!

 

I've started on Hardened becuase i want the game lasting longer than 5 hours. That said, it took me about an hour and 20 minutes to get to the 4th mission, which means 5 hours is starting to look more like 3. Lame. I'd expect a bit more out of Hardened difficulty.

 

I'm saving Veteran for my second run through. No point playing Veteran first time around becuase then you've got no reason to play it again.

Got the game today and it totally kicks ass. Someone beat the time yet on the first training course? I did it in 15.05 once.

The single player may be short but it's very replayable

I beat all the american missions (only 4 in the game are american) on veteran and 2 british and it's really hard

The multiplayer is addicting especially ground wars with 18 Players!

This game will definitley last till GTA4 comes out

I picked this bad boy up earlier today and I played through the training mission and the first level. It's really f*cking fun. However, I really need to get used to the Call Of Duty gameplay style which relies heavily on pinpoint accurate aim instead of just shooting in the general direction. The graphics look good, and the first mission is bloody cool.

 

I'm hoping to spend a couple hours this weekend leveling up so I can start getting close to the level curve for this game.
