I dont have a head set or anything. But so many time Ive wanted to shout at some prick for narrating his every movement or yelling PWNED every time he makes a kill.

 

Also when you get killed in Hardcore by a team mate. That deserves a shouting unless its an accident. But the guy who knifed me deserved a beating.

The PC version is like that. Except with no headphones or voices.

Americans are the worst, they seem to find calling us British Tea Drinkers to be an ulitmate burn. I had one guy preaching to me about God because I said "Oh my god", yeah..

Anyway, I have kind of gotten bored with COD4. I beat the game twice and Arcade mode is alright, but I wish I could do some co-op. What the hell happened to split screen co-op?

Lol, I know. But luckily for you British people have fewer headsets, But this does mean the Normal to Arsehole ratio is swung in the favour of the Arseholes.

 

But i dont mind the chatter most of the time. Like Yesterday i was playing with a group of Americans who just chatted all game long about Smoothies, But it was funny and we won lol. But its the Guys on their own in Free-for-all which get on my tist because they just shout owned etc

Both of the missions in Chernobyl are amazing. The stuff they put in there looks almost like the real thing.

I liked it too. Very cinematic and just awesome level design. I, for one, loved the mission where you have to go save Nikolai from the enemy base and all the rockets and guns and everything going off is just a great feel.

Yeh thats the easiest mission to rack up points on Arcade mode in. All that sniping makes it easy. But I would say One Shot one Kill and All Ghillied Up are the best to me.

All Ghillied Up was definately the best mission. I admit it, I'm a sucker for stealthy operations, instead of just running in and shooting everyone and everything.

 

One Shot One Kill, not so much. It's like going from stealth, straight to... well, running and gunning. And of course, carrying MacMillan gets incredibly f*cking repetitive.

One Shot One Kill is awesome. I love replaying it just practicing that shot. It's so satisfying when you nail it. I wish there was a sniper tutorial but I guess since it's only that one mission theres no need.

 

I loved carrying MacMillian around, though I think it would have been better if he had suggested "you go on without me" instead of just assuming you'd lug him around. It would make me feel a lot more heroic that way.

The P90 is great for close quater, I use it when I'm a sniper as a second weapon.

I've found myself tagging the M4 Carbine (silenced) as my secondary weapon to the .50 cal sniper rifle. Something about sneaking around killing people in stealth until you reach the perfect sniping spot and then blasting a mother f*cker from across the level that causes me to use this custom class almost every map. (Except of course Showdown and Wetwork, maybe a few others depending on the score.)

 

I also find myself playing Search and Destroy almost 90% of the time. I only go team deathmatch if some friends are on and i'm looking for some kills to upgrade a weapon. Sometimes Free-for-all for that same reason.

 

I think my favorite map by far is Overgrown. It's like a snipers dreamland. The bog however is a completely different story. I hate those jackasses who x3 frag the entire level when they start out for some cheap kills. You don't even get a heads up there is a grenade coming since they are throwing it from so far away it literally explodes at head level in the air. Its almost like you should just stay put in the beginning and wait for all the explosions to subside. Then you know they are out of frags.

Overgrown is great fun. Even if you're not a sniper, you can still get yourself a silenced pistol and take out anyone who comes near you before they even realize they've been shot. However, I hate how hard it is to get that map. I do a lot of Domination matches, and I've only been able to get that map once. It showed up two other times, but was outvoted... for Bog the first time, and Shipment the second time. Yeah, I was pretty pissed.

 

I've lost interest in just plain team deathmatches. There's no goal, nothing to do but kill people. I prefer having something to set my mind on, like getting a base and/or guarding it. Nice way to get kills too. Middle eastern map + building with fence around the roof + enemy base below + sniper rifle = jackpot. Can't remember what it's called, but I think there's a crashed helicopter in it.

 

Anyone up for a game later? I'm at school right now (it's 10:18AM), but I'll be ready to play when I get home. Domination, preferrably.

Got back into playing this yesterday and going to play it about 7ish. Bout 30 mins time. Anyway I got to say I can't wait to get the P90 unlocked. That things fire rate is bad ass for close range. Right now I've moved onto another gun, finally. The RPD? I think it's called. That's good as well. Even better now I got the red dot sight.

 

The only thing that I find hard is aiming with that other scope. The AGO scope? Anyway yeah I seem to suck with that.
