Yeh some guy even recreated some of the Goldeneye maps. I like them but they may seem plain to most of you.

Holy sh*t, I wanted to come in this topic just to say I had a match that was 5v5, and it was so f*cking fun.

 

No grenade spamming, fun people, I didn't have a bad ratio, either. I level faster, too. f*ck 25v25.

What's everyone's favourite weapon/perk combination (i.e. red dot sight, silencer, grip or whatever + which three perks)? I'm just getting started after not playing online for a bit and I'm finding it great fun - much better than when I completely sucked beforehand.

You all have to play Headquarters on "Shipment". If the HQ is in the middle of that map it'll be the most fun you've have in a game. But make sure its 3vs3 or else it's too cluttered.

 

 

All 6 of us that were playing had 60+ kills and the score was 0-0. The top guy had 100+ kills at the end of the game.

Yeh I saw a few like that on top of cars. It's weird. You'd think it would go limp, but it just stiffens up lol.

I've just got promoted to level 40 (Colonel).

 

Had to install another patch this morning though, 1.5 patch. It's supposed to have fixed;

 

 

Fixed server browser not showing all of the servers

The "hold [ ] to steady" sniper scope hint will only appear if you can use it

Fixed game not recognizing IWDs existing if they are all in fs_basepath and none are in the main/ folder

Made mod scripts able to change stats

Allow developer_script for mulitiplayer modding

Fixed map rotation errors with usermaps

Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a modded server

Fixed minimap not showing up in the menu for usermaps

Fixed an issue with Http redirect downloads.

Mod tools will now work with other languages

Ahh, I'm in the process of switching guns and perks, seeing which guns rock socks and which don't. Currently I find my Assault kit to be full of awesome: AK47 with Red Dot, Deagle, Stopping Power, Bandolier, Extreme Conditioning. Or if not AK it will be MP5 or G3. G3 rocks on Hardcore, its one shot kill with stopping power.

For Assault:

 

G3/M16 with the Desert Eagle, Frag x 3, Stopping Power & Last Stand/Martyrdom, switching between the two.

 

And then when I decide I want something different, it's usually the RPD with Double Tap & Martydrom. I rarely use the Sniper.

That's actually one of my least favorite things in the game. The map is wayy too tiny. Spawning in plain sight of the enemy's crosshair and having f*cking air support rape you ever 2 seconds is just ridiculous. That map needs to be completely reworked.

I swap between guns and perks a lot, because I'm working on the challenges. Right now I've been using the M4 with red dot sight, special nades, stopping power, and uh...either martydrom or something else.

I tried out the old school free for all mode on Bloc, and it's probably the most f*cked up thing I've ever seen on this game. I guess it has something to do with the higher jumping, but people were somehow glitching and getting all the way on top of the apartment buildings. It was pretty wierd.

No I don't think they should get rid of it. I just think they should disable air support for it. My fave guns:

 

Can't stop using the MP5 with red tiger, red dot, double tap, matyrdom (so sue me)

 

Also the G3 is a monster, but I got raped the first time I used it cause I thought it was an automatic.
