Alright, I bought CoD4 over Steam. Gonna run through Single-player and then dive into Multiplayer.

Heh, took roughly 4 minutes for it to itch to 1% running at 140 kbs, respectively.

 

Im in no mood to do math but I'm pretty sure it's less than 10 hours 48 mins at that rate, but regardless I have a ridiculously long wait ahead of me. sh*t, I really want to play this.

I'm kind of concerned for my disc, it makes a very scary sound in my XBOX at certain points of too much playing time.

Either way, what's the easiest way to kill someone with their own claymore. I find it quite hard.

I don't think Infinity Ward is ever going to release an update for this game. I am really tempted to put together a massive suggestion thread at their official board in the hopes that someone will read it. Maybe if I'm more articulate than the idiot noobs that spam their whining all over it, I'll be noticed above the wreckage.

 

I find it insane that a game of this magnitude would be released without ever planning to make DLC updates for it. Piss poor decision, if you ask me.

I would do a suggestion thread too. Maybe someone will listen if we get enough people to agree on some improvements.

Maybe I'll get bored in the next two days I'm off work and put something together. If I do, I'll let people know here so that maybe we can all sign it petition style.

I would definatly sign it/back you up over on those forums. I am sick of the maps especially the size of some of them.

Yes, it has all those modes. I just think we've been playing it too much and it's starting to bother us.

That's exactly what it is. It's gotten to the point where we notice every minute detail of the multiplayer experience and it bugs the f*ck out of us.

 

I'd also like to mention that Call Of Duty 4 multiplayer is no longer f*cking fun.

 

I'm sick of getting robbed of kills, getting jump-stabbed from 10 feet away and just generally getting my ass handed to me by the f*cking fa**ot n00bs who jump up and down shooting like it's f*cking Halo.

Oh my god. I played it with my friend, and I loved it. I mean, it's easy and difficulty on the same time, because the controls are easy and fast to learn, but it's hard to get that airstrike

Well seeing as my 360 went down the sh*tter to texas for repair, I decided to buy CoD4 for PC even though I already have it on 360. Well I didn't feel like getting up off my ass so I just bought it through Steam. Oh my sweet jeebus the graphics on my PC are so much better than 360. Not to mention keyboard and mouse pwns. I probably won't even play my 360 version even when I get the 360 back unless maybe my friends who have it on 360 want me to play with them.

I feel your pain and have done for some time now.

 

The same stuff happens to me. Stabbed from 7 miles out, I try it in someone face and doesn't work. Shoot a guy for him to turn round and shoot me in one shot. Spawn infront of/next to the other team or on a grenade. Shot at by some ass clown spamming the walls with deep impact. I could go on.

 

But thankfully some new games are on the horizon.

I had a game on Bloc today, awesome. Instead of the normal Cagey sniping everone was doing Run n' Gun like me. Its MUCH funner than Having teams of snipers IMO.

Hmmm. Someone els who strives for accuracy. It always makes me laugh when I see someone hop on a turret and start mindlessly shooting hoping to hit something. I just imagine what their accuracy is. I managed to get mine to 28% at one point, but its now down to 27.66 or something like that. It's a bitch to keep up.

Okay, I played through single-player in one sit-through and played about 30 minutes of multiplayer today.

 

Maybe I just need to play it more, but, I think Multiplayer is total bullsh*t. You always die like 5-10 seconds right after you spawn and the whole shoot through the wall bit is f*cked up. There are many people on both sides that just spam shoot through that damn wall with a heavy for the entire game. sh*t.

 

I'm tempted to re-install CoD2 just to have a good multiplayer match that requires teamwork again. Now that was fun.

I liked the map Burgundy myself, Carentan was good too. Russian maps? Hmmm, like Stalingrad come to think of it.

Call of Duty 2 has the best single-player out of any call of duty, even modern warfare. It was the most fun, and replayable. But of course COD4 has better multiplayer

Indeed, I'm just as good as when I first hit 55, maybe slightly better but not much.

 

You have to see it from my point of view though, every other game I enter I hear

 

" Oh look at the level 10 prestige guy! He must have no life and must live in his mom's basement! "

 

And all that crap, really gets on my nerves, wish I would've stayed at 55...

 

Oh and @ Daz, the Mosin Nagant is defo FTW, that rifle (unscoped) was the shiznit.

For the time being, I plan on sticking to lvl. 55 once I finally reach it. I can't be doing with the whole prestige mode and it just strikes me as something not really worthwhile.. though if there were some kind of unlock I'd probably go with it.
