The perks are annoying yeah, and I really do hate that Martydom one, it sucks so much. Sometimes, you kill someone, someone is shooting at you, and you have nowhere to go, then the nade blows up.

Matyrdom is satisfying though when someone nails you with an almost impossible shot and spams the chat with something like "OMFG HAX J00 NUB!" Then they die from your grenade.

I've actually been stupidly taken down from the Last Stand perk a hell of a lot lately. It's almost as if people have found a new-found love for it or something. That, and Martyrdom. Most people haven't used any of these the past few weeks but it seems like now everyone is using them.

Martyrdom is f*cking cheap and should be taken from the game, last stand is at least counterable. It needs to be set up so that the person who puts you in last stand should get credit for the kill and anyone who kills you in last stand just gets an assist though. It's f*cking gay getting your kill stolen like that.

 

Psychic helicopters should be fixed, it's annoying get killed when poking one square inch of your body out for a better look.

 

When I first got this game I made the complaint that CoD4 had the whiniest playerbase I'd ever seen, but now I'm starting to think it's understandable. The game is very frustrating.

I don't use the Martyrdom much, especially in hardcore because I'd probably team kill with it, but you can get easy kills with it.

I agree. It should be fixed or at least be useable at about 10-15 kills.

You know what I love about Martyrdom? YOU CAN'T THROW THE f*ckING GRENADE AWAY FROM YOU.

 

With a normal grenade, you are allowed to do this but it's basically pointless because by the time you pick it up you'll be missed your whole hand and your head.

I know how you feel. I just keep shooting until I see the points pop up. I was sick of thinking I got someone, only to turn a corner and die because of some guy laying on the ground. Martyrdom is crap, there just isn't any strategically pliable reason to have it that I can think of, other than a possible free kill.

Desert Eagle is f*cking beastly on Hardcore, I kill more people with it on Hardcore then with any other weapon. Plus it sounds godly.

I don't think Infinity Ward is ever going to release an update for this game. I am really tempted to put together a massive suggestion thread at their official board in the hopes that someone will read it. Maybe if I'm more articulate than the idiot noobs that spam their whining all over it, I'll be noticed above the wreckage.

 

I find it insane that a game of this magnitude would be released without ever planning to make DLC updates for it. Piss poor decision, if you ask me.

I had an airstrike threw in a stun and a flash into a room put the airstrike map up, and got two kills 1 with the grenade one with deep impact with the stun and it didnt give me the chopper as I set the airstrike down.

I kinda read through the last couple pages of this topic in consideration of buying CoD4. And, the multiplayer sounds like a f*cking MMORPG. Is it nothing like the past games with just the classic, CTF, Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch?

That's happened to me. I call in an airstrike and you can hear the sound, but nothing comes out of the sky. Stupid glitches I actually went on today for the first time in like 2 weeks and i had a load of fun. A guy stabbed me in the back and i learned that he was drunk in real life while he was doing it. I got killed by a drunk person, how embarrassing

It's a straight up first person shooter. The only MMORPG element is the leveling system, in which several modes, perks, and weapons are not available at the start of your playing, but are unveiled by getting points for various objectives and killing people. Pick it up, it's worth it.

 

I hate getting an airstrike and when I try to use it, I end up killing two f*ckers and you lose it, kind of like what Daz said. The airstrike is better imo because it's a lot more effective and you control it, as compared to the chopper where just sit back and watch the kills add up, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Yes, it has all those modes. I just think we've been playing it too much and it's starting to bother us.

Yeah I suggest you get this game. The single and multi player own.

I'm kind of concerned for my disc, it makes a very scary sound in my XBOX at certain points of too much playing time.

Either way, what's the easiest way to kill someone with their own claymore. I find it quite hard.
