As far as PS3 and 360 goes the online community is still going strong, a few of the gamemode playlists are pretty dead though, I assume the same goes for PC.

 

Loving the fact the double XP is still on, makes ranking up by playing SnD a lot quicker, I went from 8th to 9th prestige in 4 days.

I bought this again for my 360. I had this on 360 but i traded it in because i have it on PS3. But this time i decided to trade in the PS3 version and get the 360 one. I have prestiged once and I'm rank 43. I was rank 40 but i got up to 43 in one night.

When I bought COD4 on PS3 in 2007, I got it for $88 in Big W. Last year in September, I bought it for 360 preowned for $99. I should've gotten a brand new copy of the Game of the Year edition for like $50

I got pretty nostalgic last night while playing MW2, and after being killed by campers, raped by lag and then torn to shreds by noobtubers, I decided enough was enough and threw my CoD4 in... a game I haven't touched since the release of MW2.

 

Wow, is it so much better. The game's are still pretty populated too. Oh how I missed the simplicity of 3 killstreaks and the awesome maps (way superior over any of MW2's, I hope you would agree)

 

I don't know if it was just me, but the TDM's in CoD4 seem way more active than the ones in MW2. Half of the matches I join in MW2 are ghost towns where I'm just wandering around the map looking for enemies. In Call of Duty 4, most of the enemies can be found in the same area so you can get some really action-packed gameplay.

I've given up on MW2, I just can't stand the backwardness of employing IW.Net over dedicated servers. Moreover, I don't like the idiocy of certain kill streaks, for example, one could easily acquire a bloody Chopper Gunner from a Care Package, effectively turning the tides of a match due to probability, not skill or effort. I adore the balanced weapons, perks, simple kill streaks and realism of CoD 4, it will remain my favourite online shooter.

COD MW is relatively easy to rank up for myself. I'd probably own everyone on MW2.

I was playing this over the Xbox Live Free weekend. Such great memories, however now that it's deemed old, I see a f*ckofalot of team killers . As soon as a round starts, some f*ckwit blows up the whole team. This happens more often than not aswell . Back to single player.
