Ah, you've gotta love those games. I've been in plenty of them, a group of kids that talk trash in the starting lobby and are pretty much silent after getting thrashed.

Speaking about people on mics, I hate it that whenever I have a 4 Bar connection in SnD, the 'Connection Interrupts' appears and the kid on the mic says "FLOBBABLOBBA!" accusing me of being host and making the Interrupt thing appear....

 

After that game, I randomly messaged a dude who I thought was using the mic and told him this. "I'm not host if you were the dude on the mic."....

I started playing this again yesterday, and I realized that I still loved it. I got first place on Domo on Downpour and Creek, but lost big time on Bog.

 

I was against the same team in every game (they weren't a clan, trust me), and the only reason I lost on Bog was because they camped the f*ck out of B and C. They would not let us get past it at all. Of course, in the previous two games, they picked sh*tty spots to camp, so we went right past them to the flags. And trust me, I'm not calling them campers just because I'm mad. At the end of the first two games, they claimed that we "captured too much."

I find in dom, you can have a great team, but once the other side get's a good hold on two flags it can be really difficult to unsettle them. Generally the middle ground is easy to camp nearby and hold off any attack, since you spawn so close to the middle again.

 

Plus there's always the option of just tossing a single grenade in the middle to stop the capture. it's on of my favourite modes.

Ah, played SnD today and owned at Downpour, Showdown and Bog. The great thing about defending the bomb at Bog is when you are capable of throwing a grenade over the building at their spawn, killing 2-3 people (Start of the round).

 

Perfect SnD class

Digital MP5 w/ silencer

Perk 1: Claymores 2x

Perk 2: UAV Jammer

Perk 3: Extreme Conditioning (Dead Silence is good, but kind of pointless when you can just crouch)

 

EDIT: Is it me, or is it really easy to kill people with miracle grenades? Most of my kills recently were just nade spamming. My K/D ratio jumped from 0.83 - 0.90 in less than 6 hours.

You can throw grenades waaaay too far, and they have waaaay too much range. I'd be happy if they were taken out altogether, I swear if they weren't in COD4 my K/D ratio would be up by about .50.

I have just encountered the fatal ERROR 33. Can anyone tell me how I can resolve this issue because I need a gold cross! And its not coming anytime soon if I get this Error 33....

It's not a fatal error, i've had it a bunch of times and i've been able to play games still, it's a minor error, also, you don't actually need the Gold Cross .

I haven't resolved it, it pops up from time to time, it's not your actual game disk though, it's something to do with the activision servers and it shouldn't really be something you're worried about in my opinion.

The scary thing about all of this is when I'm playing Cod 4, I sometimes check the game data utility, and I find out that you can't delete the data + the space it takes up from your HDD is '-'. A dash. Does that mean anything?

I updated cod4 to 1.30, all good, played some online, then downloaded the mappack from my voucher code, played some games, all good.

now I want to play, and whenever I click "create a class" my class names won't show up.

same when I try to change my class online...I have to hover over it to see what weapon it is.

Is that all you did? I've only ever read about this happening once before, and the person who encountered the problem had tried a bit of jiggery-pokery with their profile.

 

I don't know if there's a similar feature to this on the PS3, but with the 360 you can recover your gamertag from the XBL servers. If you can do this on PS3 too, I'd give it a shot.

Is it just me or does anyone else find the hacked SnD games that have 62 people in them fun? I was in one last night with the radar off (no red dots on the radar constantly), it was close to what I imagine the PC version would be, was the reason they couldn't do this on consoles because of the host system unlike PC's where they have dedicated servers?

That sounds like a lot of fun. I would camp the whole game though. Imagine waiting for all 63 players to die? Torture!

 

Anyway last night I decided to record me cleaning house with the M40A3 (with ACOG) and I did pretty well. I honestly don't snipe at all because I'm more of a defensive SMG type of guy. Anyway, I believe I called in three helicopters and two airstrikes and in the video below, I even got a collateral (2 kills, 1 shot). A lot of other surprises too.

 

BTW, sorry that the quality isn't perfect, I didn't bother finding my tripod. =[

Well it's during a MP game and I hear it yelled out every so often. I assume it's not any of the grenades, but it could be anything. Reloading, smoke tango down etc. Any idea?

AA has been annoying me in GTA IV so been having a good blast at this over the past week.

 

Sitting at, 125 headshots on each of the assault rifles, 130 on smgs, 135 on LMGs and only got 1 sniper to get all 150 on

 

Done most of the challenges, the last ones are the friggin harder ones. Kill people by shooting their own C4, not die during a whole game, kill 5 people with 1 airstrike, kill 2 people while your in midair, grenade suicides. Last ones seem friggin hard

Thats a hack, if he managed to get one as soon as the game had started and as soon as the first had gone, as it's simply impossible to get a Helicopter in S&D, even more impossible in TTS&D. IW need to fix that too, i really hope this kind of sh*t isn't over looked for MW2.

Yeah, I believe they say ''Vspyshka'' which is Russian for flash.

Not true. There's a glitch where if you join right when the match is in the process of switching, you can choose your team. Which means it could end up being 7 vs. 5. While it is INCREDIBLY hard to get a heli when this happens, it is quite possible. Although, the heli won't attack anyone when you call it in.

 

But Team Tactical S&D? Yeah, it was a hack.

A new patch has gone live for the consoles, including a 'fix' for rapid fire controllers. Apparently it's horrible, I haven't tried it but people are saying that the pistols shoot very slowly. Anybody tested it out?

Rapid fire patch? Is it on ps3 too? Rapid fire as in g3 being an auto gun? I don't think you can mod ps3 controllers so why does IW need to patch it?

Yeah, you can. The patch fixes some of the hacks for public matches, and includes a patch for rapid fire controllers.

 

Also, forgot to say, it's currently only released for PS3 I believe.
