As for Deadsilence, doesn't really matter if you're rushing. Use extreme conditioning instead, reduces the risk of you getting shot or grenaded when you rush their spawn.

I found a similar class which guarantees me 8-1 and 10-0 in search n destroy.(NOT BRAGGING! But showing the great skill of mp5)

I use stopping power on all of my classes because I want to take out all of my enemies fast and easy in clan matches, plus I play Search and Destroy, so it's not like I'm going to be living very long anyway.

 

I use claymores not because I camp with them, like most people would, I acctually confus my enemies with them, by putting them on their sides of the map, on their spawn.

 

And, I use dead silence because, when I'm sneaking about in enemy terretory, I don't want to be heard. Plus, incase someone has a turtle beach, they'll be able to hear me, but not as well as they would if I didn't have it on.

To keep it on topic though, if i was to find a cheap copy of CoD4 for 360 should i get it, i have it on PS3 and it was such an effort getting to Prestige 10 Level 55, not sure if i want to bother again.

What's the deal with games randomly closing? I only play free-for-all and I'll have about 4 rounds with a group of people then all of a sudden I get booted out, I am getting booted on purpose?

 

anyway, this game has become 110% better since I got the dot sight for my MP5, that weapon can be used on pretty much any level.

I used to dislike the MP5 until I really started using it. It's a lot more versatile than the other submachine guns, mainly considering the Skorpion and Uzi. It spits a tad slower but is more reliable on getting someone at a more lengthy distance than, say, the Uzi. I'm a big fan of the G36c, though; I don't know why. I just prefer it over the usuals, so it's my go-to weapon.

 

And when times get tough and get me down, I mess around and annihilate with the RPGs...

I'm getting sick of my internet connection. It's playable, but still v ery laggy. I usually have to predict where people are running and fire a considerable distance in front of them to get a kill. Sniping is more or less impossible for me.

 

Does anyone know how long a full length match of 8 player free for all would total, as in megabytes per game? I currently have a pissy 6Gb a month and don't want to blow it all. I should have a new connection up and running in the next few months.

No, there is no official windowed mode for CoD: 4, however, the ALT+TAB combo is quick as hell, just do that whenever

your teacher gets close.

It's not really a demanding game (on low settings), it wouldn't surprise me if our school computers could run

them on minimum. They have Pentium Dual cores, 1 GB Ram DDR2 (not sure of the speed), Radeon HD 2400 Pros

and are running XP Pro SP3.

One of the finest scripted games I have ever seen, built for the PC, and your PC should run it perfectly.

All the DLC is free and there is an SDK available free. Don't forget to download and install ALL the patches before

playing on-line.

You'd be surprised, go to your local PC shop and they'll build a good one for you on the cheap, let the

PC suit your budget.

 

Anyway, I know you don't think of the PC as another console, however, Windows LIVE is pretty awful,

it's Microsoft's attempt at turning the PC into a console and getting their logo (s) shown about everywhere.

Yikes, 10th level prestige is crazy. I got my first 7 kill streak last night on vacant . My K/D ratio is something like .73. I find I can get 3 kill streaks often, but then I'll have a death streak that's even worse. If I get any more than 4 kills on a streak I get nervous that I need 1 more for a air strike and usually end up choking and flash banging myself or something.

 

Oh I unlocked Martydom finally too. That has to be one of the best perks in the game, I'd say every 3rd death or so I get a kill with it. It's like cheating though...

It is, but wonderful at the same time.

 

K/D ratios always suck when you start out. I think a while back mine hit 1, and since has been steadily increasing, as I've improved the way I play.

Hahaha, no. When I was about eight, we went to the only local PC store in town and bought the Compaq that I've had so many problems with... for $1000. It was worth maybe $100 then, and it's worth about $10 now (this was obviously before anyone in my family knew anything about PCs). That place can suck me off twice for all I care.

With your connection, a 7 kill streak is pretty good! Grats!

I just started playing this game again after a short hiatus, and I seem to be having a problem. I tried creating the first slot class weapon, M16, red dot, blue tiger, stopping power / deep impact. However, when I load into a match and try to select the first custom slot, it's just a typical m16 with a grenade launcher. Whats the problem? And yes, I'm positive I'm clicking the right one.

 

I'm level 36, on my 3rd prestige.

I had a hell of a match today on Wet Work. Right off the spawn I kept getting sniped by some doucher on the other tower, so I take my gold Uzi and charge their f*cking team. Ended the match 44-20 after starting 0-5.

 

One time I made it to the opposite bridge, sneaking past all the little f*ckers, and I get hit by a claymore of all f*cking things. So my next time up there, I toss a grenade and blew up their claymore. Shot three more guys who didn't even notice me, and then when I turned the corner I saw a C4 pack lying in wait for me. I decided "eh, what the hell" and shot it from a safe distance, killing two more sneaky f*ckers. I got "Return to Sender", "Backdraft III", and "Counter-C4 III" in one shot.

That Double XP Weekend thing might be my chance to get to 8th Prestige, whose badge is so much better looking than the sh*tty 4th prestige one.

 

I've found myself doing profoundly well with the .50Cal sniper rifle, pulling off headshot after headshot on just about every map I go into, and always seem to end up with at least 20 kills and about 6 or 7 deaths. One thing I really need to work on, however, is my Uzi spraying technique. I used to be so good at it, now I'm lucky to get 3 kills with it in a match. I think the pattern was burst-burst-burst-spray for most of my successful kills, so I guess my problem is controlling my trigger finger!

How many times have you asked & how many times have we told you?

 

You can't get the .50cal in single player without a mod.

There isn't a weapon spawner for PC that I know of.

And there is no other way of getting it.

 

In other news, the 27th? I'm so wanting my f*cking internet up & running.
