Im trying to get myslelf a gold Ak, up to atleast digital on all of them now, 3 blue tigers and a red. Damnnnn theres still a lot to go though!

I have a gold AK.

This. f*ckin' thing doesn't even need stopping power, just spray from the hip and you're guaranteed a kill.

 

Of course, you need a fast trigger finger, or a modded controller (and many opponents believe that I have the latter).

ya i think i used UAV Jammer with it, it was that good...my favorite part was it was one shot to the head as if it were in the sniper class.

 

that was another thing i hated about this game was if you were whooping ass like any K:DR over 4(in the match i mean) you had to have been using a modded controller, i played with a few people that have one and theres a clear difference between the two.

Yes, cagematch. The g3 sucks but m14 is worse.

I can get all those headshots back. And by the way, the m4 carbine is the only gun I didn't cagematch on.

Yes, cagematch. The g3 sucks but m14 is worse.

I feel bad about admitting it, but it's true. You act like you're an awesome player with your high K/D ratio, and then go on to talk about how good your P90 is. Those two things should never be in the same sentence. As for the G3, it's great for Hardcore, but Normal, I have to admit, it does suck quite a bit. The M14 is the opposite, however. It's terrible for Hardcore, but great for Normal. I switched over to Normal, in the hope of less cheap kills, and I had to abandon my G3, due to the fact of how underpowered it is.

 

But yeah. If you want to boast about skill, use a weapon that actually takes skill.

 

@Nick: I'll try to be there. You get the salesman video we made on Vacant uploaded yet? I want to see how terrible my acting was.

Meh i'm officially back to straight up pub matches now.

I've been doing nothing buy GB matches for little bit over a year now.

And actual serious competing the last two gaming seasons, getting into the playoffs and moving ahead in them slightly.

For those familiar with big names, my clan had the unfortunate runs ins with the unstoppable forces of 'Sick minded soldiers', and worse yet 'Envy us'

but the point is its seems to me that playing the game in this way (really competitive) has taken the fun out of the game for me.

 

Anyways with that out of the way my usual setup is the standard of the pro/amateurs like myself the latter. I use the Mp5 and M16.

But now that im back up on the pub circuit i find myself using the semi-auto shotgun to run in and take two people down in SnD, then legging it out of there. Quite funny to hear them bitch when you get back to the lobby.

Some of this info right there is not true. I never show off of my k/d ratio. It totally sucks. 0.79? With 2000 deaths more then kills sucks. And for your information, I just realized that I'm sh*tty in using not automatic guns because I blindfire. But I am not too bothered in using g3 and m14.

And for me saying that I show off by saying my p90 is badass is 1000% wrong. The only time I mentioned that I am amazing using my p90 is my 42 kills in TDM. Now that is an accomplishment, an achievement. I am proud of it. It's great. Sure you Pat, may not like the p90, and say its bad and all. That's your opinion. My opinion is that the m14 and g3 are bad. Now not maybe for you. But oh well. If you think about it Pat, p90 takes skill. Most people playing search and destroy that I spectate when I am the first person to die blindfire using the p90. Just cause it has a 50 ammu clip doesn't mean you should blindfire. When people blindfire, they die.

I just wrote this post to clear up a few things. Things that were post and aren't true. Especially.

EDIT 2: I just now remembered one thing I didn't add. Isn't a forum discussing something or is meant to be that way?

As far as I see it, I am discussing the weaknesses of the g3 and m14 while Pat is discussing about it's strengths and why he likes it.

Yes, with a p90, it is kinda easy. But still, whether you use a p90 or not, the person will be shocked to see someone do a feat with the p90. Few were using that weapoon, and all struggled to reach my feat.

Are you sure you're playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? I mean, that doesn't even make sense. I've lost count of how many times I've seen someone get a high kill/death ratio in a match with a P90, and an incredible amount of people use it.

 

And it's not "kinda" easy. It's incredibly easy. There is absolutely no skill required to use the P90.

Simple fact is that the Fn P90 requires the skill level of a high school drop out in order for it to work.

The only way you may get a little group of people to go your way of thinking gamer is that under heavy RoF the thing bounces like f*cking your mom in her ass. It gets uncontrollable under those circumstances. Which correct me if im wrong, but is the point of large mag in the first place, along with less reloading

 

Whilst it may not be the funnest weapon out there,the standard RDS M16 gets the job done with pinpoint accuracy. It only loses points for those close encounters inside buildings, otherwise its perfect. Now the H&k Mp5 while now doesn't have large capacity mag of the Fn P90 it does have unrivaled accuracy in close quarters and also if the user is experienced enough can also clip enemies at a surprising distance.....although naturally not as far as the M16.

The M4 as a little footnote on my thought is just far to jumpy to be wickedly accurate like its father the M16.

 

Now you can tell me that you beast with a; 74, 47, G36c, g3, M4, Fn P90 but head to head they just wouldn't cut it against those two.

Now all that being said, that is how it plays out in the game where unlike lets say Vegas you can't switch your RoF, which would through a nice monkey wrench into the M16 Vs. M4 and other obvious rivals

Just because you aren't "amazing" at Call of Duty 4, doesn't mean a high amount of kills with an easy-to-use weapon is a "great feat". It's the same for the MP5, it's unlocked early, it has a high power, high framerate, etcetera. It's not as nooby as the P90 (not even close), but still.

 

To be honest, as far as I'm concerned, there is no "great feat" in Call of Duty 4. I could use an M60 with Double Tap on Shipment and get 80 kills and 40 deaths. By your logic, that would be a "great feat."

 

Now, there are always things like "Rambo Claymore-ing" (running up to an enemy and putting a claymore right beside them, rather than knifing/shooting them) or No-Scoping which do require quite a bit of skill. Other than that, though, I think when someone gets a high K/D ratio, it's mostly luck.

 

And I don't consider myself to be "amazing" at this game. I usually have the same amount of deaths as I do kills in S&D, and a lot of the time I do pretty poorly. Of course, I play for fun, rather than bragging rights (which is the same reason I ninja defuse at any chance I get).

Hold on, did you just say no-scoping requires skill? I'd say its 80% luck and 20% skill, sh*t, I've gotten better shots than zzirGrizz before by pure luck.

Did you by any chance use the Fn90 (Had to) to get this or another weapon? My 22 killstreak was earned with a M40 ACOG and an RPD as mentioned, that is a fairly tricky thing to pull off. And my 17 killstreak before that was earned with an M16 and a f*cking M9 for the last 4 kills. Either way I really still do want to go head to head with you once I'm back. I'll use my M40 setup if you like

I dont get the p90 hate its not that bad. The m16 is worse in my opinion.

I like to use things like the M60, Mini-Uzi, and AK-47 for many of my kills. Occasionally, I'll use something like the M14 or my Desert Eagle if I feel like having fun. The M16 is mostly an SnD gun for me, for pre-firing and all.

Pre-firing is basically knowing when a target going to or should be entering the crosshairs and firing hitting him just as leaving/getting ready to leave cover for open ground.
