Im going to stay at 55 when I get to it. I find Prestige completely f*cking stupid tbh. Currently at 44 (iirc), now its getting harder to progress, doing the LMG challenges to gain some extra xp. (Plus, the SAW owns with Grip unlocked for it.)

I know this, and I explained the reasoning behind it before. I never said anything about 360, but presumably a couple days longer than on PC is just as doable..

I have just finally completed the 'one shot, one kill' level on veteran and i'm f*cking exhausted. I'm shaking like i've just seen an ghost, i can hardly breathe lol.

 

When i was carrying the wounded fella back to the chopper i got stuck between all the men and i was getting pounded with shots and i thought i was going to die, well chuffed now it took me ages to do.

FTR, the AK-74u is a hell'uva' lot more powerful than I thought. It's a really solid weapon once you unlock the red dot sight. I'm still waiting on the Auto Shotgun (the next level) and the G36.

I beat the game on veteran

I missed the 30 intel achievement though because i accidently used cheats

so now i have 980 gamerpoints (Motherf***er)

 

And im a rank 50 and i got the 50. Cal Sniper Rifle which is the best WEAPON and SNIPER in the game. I thought it sucked because every time i picked it up it applied to my perks like sleight of hand or martydome but now that i finally have it as a slot i matched it up with Bullet Penetration and Deep Impact.

 

But now im going to calm down and try not to play so much until the Winter really kicks in and then i'll start going outside, get GTA4 and play it A LOT unless i have finals and regents to study for and then i'll try to not play 360 every single day in the summer so i can work out, play sports and get more active

Kind of a noobish question, but why in multiplayer does my M16 shoot in burst mode, instead of rapid (or automatic, watever its called)? is there a button to change it? do i need to get to a higher level (i'm lv6 atm)?

 

I've picked up other players M16s and they've had Rapid fire, so i dont know wats going on, maybe i havnt looked into it enough.

Im not arguing.

 

I am saying realistically, on the 360 version, actually cutting through all the crap games, and only having about 5 or so hours played a day, (realistically) you cant get 55.

 

I dont like the game that much to play it 48 hours straight for two days, just for a crappy little symbol.

 

 

Anyway, if I did. To get the 10th level 55 rank I would have to have gotten level 55 every 2 days since it came out, meaning on the 28th of november, I would have done it all.

 

And its not even that date yet, and I am already sick of the game. As are other people already.

 

So to play it that long and that much, and knowing all the things you unlock dont mean sh*t as you cant keep them. Anyone else would be sick of it too.

 

My point is you have to do that first before you should even bother collecting all the challenges.

 

And seeing as I am about 76% of the way through them all, thats harsh on me, especially if there is secret unlocks for prestige. As I would have to do them all again. Just because IW put this stupid illogical mode in the game.

Meh, CoD4 is more of a rent without online. Onine just makes it, storyline you can do in one sitting easily.

CoD4 took about 6 hours to beat at normal pace and not sucking too badly. It's pretty short. I think the day of the long game is over to be honest, most games have single player campaigns that seem to go for 10 hours max.
