Wow, I suck at using the mike during COD4. I was playing with pat but for some reason the mike wouldn't let me chat, even though it was working fine. Weird....

I found it really easy to win on Pipeline and the map where there's a bus in the middle and tons of sniper spots. I forgot its name.

 

That's probably 'Crossfire', damn, I hate that map with a passion.

Thats one of my favorite maps, its abit crazy with big teams but with small ones its ace.

Thing I don't really like about it is how you can get shot from practically anywhere, even if you're in a building, you still manage to get shot.

 

Suppose that's why its called "Crossfire".

Yep, seeing as the Spetnaz are Russian, it kinda makes sense.

Question, if the game is set in modern times, why does it use the old communist anthem and not the current one, that does not have communist lyrics?

It is an adaptation of the national anthem of the Soviet Union of 1944, with music originally composed by Alexander Alexandrov. The lyrics were revised for the anthem of the Russian Federation by Sergey Mikhalkov, who had supplied lyrics for versions of the Soviet anthem in 1943 and 1977. The revision removes any mention of Vladimir Lenin's ideas and the "unbreakable union" of the Soviet state, instead focusing on a country that is vast in area and rich in resources that will be entrusted to future generations.

Also stolen from wiki, because I can't find a better source this quick.

 

So it is not completley the same.

The string of numbers and letters is an issue identifier. I believe it's on the M4 aswell.

I like the USP .45, and I've had some kill streaks that gave me radar with it.

M9 for me as it has a large ammunition clip. Silenced too just for the stealth and keeping your location off the radar when firing.

Its because we are right. The magazine is a container in which ammunition is stored, whilst a clip is a small piece of metal which holds rounds in place whilst outside the magazine, and sometimes within the magazine as well.

 

Damn you silly Europeans.
